T3030 speaker system and TV audio output.....

I hooked them together with the Charter HDTV box in place and they worked fine. Discontinued the Charter subscription back to basic only and rehooked the speakers to the back of the TV audio out.
Nothing........nada, zip.
Nothing coming out of the speakers. Plugged them into my Bose unit and they still play just fine...............go figure.Wondering what on the TV needs to be changed, or adjusted to get the speakers to pick up output?SidAlpena, Michigan? 49707

:smileyindifferent:??I have been all over the internet and this forum and nothing addresses the simplicity of the hookup other than plug in the plugs and listen.................hmmmnnn. What oh what could be the simple answer and are others having this situation with just trying to get audio out of a TV to their new Creative equipment>?Sid?

  • Airport Express and the audio output.

I bought an Airport Express sometime last year, when it first came out. I don't have any of the packaging or the manual with me. What I would like to know is if Airport Express had support for both analog and optical audio output right from the start (when it was first released).
    Thanks.

Since its release over a year ago, there has only ever been one hardware version of the Airport Express. Therefore - yes - a combo analog/optical digital output has been built into the Airport Express right from the start.
You can download PDF versions of all the manuals at:

i got new speaker system and i plug ipod in and try to play music and it wont but it will charge. How do i fix

    - Make sure that the iPod is fully seated in the dock.
    - Does the manufacturer of the dock say it will work with your specific model iPod touch and its iOS? Not all dock work with all models and iOSs. Users have reported that when the updated the iOS on their iPod and broke compatibility.

I have an Iphone 6 plus. Can the bluetooth connect to the cars speaker system and a Garmin HUD unit at the same time?

    Hi,
Normally yes, Bluetooth can connect to multiple devices at the same time, so yes.
The only thing is that you'll be able to send sound/music to only one at a time, but I understand the Garmin HUD doesn't play sounds.
    cheers

  • I recently downloaded the latest OS update and now I have a constant "humming" noise from my MBP and my audio output is no longer working. Any suggestions?

I recently downloaded the lastest OS update (Lion X 10.7.4) on my MBP that I purchased in November of 2011, and since downloading it my MBP has been making a constant "humming" noise from the right speaker/disc drive area. I also don't have any audio output for FaceTime or Skype. I attempted to use Photo Booth to record a video and it doesn't record any audio. I attempted to reset SMC and reinstall Lion with no resolution of the problems.

Click the Finder icon on the Dock.
Applications > Utilities > Audio MIDI Setup
    Built-in-Output
    Output tab
Move the Master volume slider to the right a bit.
    Best.

  • Mono and stereo audio output

I had to do a recovery on my HP Pavilion A6603w.  I set up my HP supplied RealTek HD Audio manager for a four speaker system, as before and did the Realtek tests which went fine.  It sounds great just as before the recovery when I am playing stereo music.  The odd thing is, when I am listening to something over the web which isn't stereo, or anything generated by the computer in mono, it now only comes out of the front speakers (located in the monitor) whereas before the recovery, even mono came out of all four speakers.  Is this really how the machine is supposed to work or is there a way to make mono audio come out of all four speakers?

The key here is telling "Windows" that you are have a 5.1 speaker setup. If you are getting 5.1 sound from your DVD software player or games, etc... but Windows sounds are only coming from the front two speakers, then you have to Windows that you want to use 5.1. For the encorporated Realtek driver, you should be able to select the Speakers icon in Sound Properties and then click the configuration button to get to a Speaker setup screen.
To get the Configure button to be active, the speakers icon has to be selected (in blue) - not just set to default.
What you are talking about is the Realtek HD Sound Manager software. You should leave all the speaker selections checked on the left. But these settings are treated as separate and enable sound throughput at a lower (?) level. The Vista configuration setting simply tells Windows to send Windows Audio through 5.1 channels instead of stereo (default).

  • Having trouble using my 5.1 surround sound speaker system and can't configure itunes to use it

With my Logitech Surround Sound Speakers Z506 I am listening to music with itunes and i have 5 speakers total with a subwoofer, the configuration is two front, one center, two rear, and a subwoofer. The front , center and subwoofer are fine but the rear pair speakers do not have any playback with them. I am wondering if you don't mind helping me troubleshoot this problem.
Thank you have a nice day
    Cole

Well I'm not using Vista I'm using XP SP2 and I have the same problem.
On the windows sound control panel there is a button called speaker volume. when you click on it you get a bunch of sliders with channels -8. Ive discovered that if I move the master sound control in any of the Creative Sound modes software Entertainment/Audio Creation or Gaming the channel sliders in the windows control panel numbered 3-7 all go to zero which stops the surround sound working. It leaves channels and 2 and 8 alone which can be changed with the sound control in the creative software.
Even checking move all the slides together option on the windows control panel is cancelled as soon as I twitch the main sound control. It's driving me nuts. I keep thinking I must be missing something really obvious here but alas I can't think what.
Ive tried lots of different solutions to no avail. Interestingly when I tried to use the autodriver update thing on the creative web site it said that i am using Vista and you'll have to download manually. Which I did and still didnt resolve my problem.
Sorry no solutions just more problems lets hope someone can help!
Edit - Just discovered - I have XFi Pro if I use the I/O Console volume dial it works fine, but if I use the software volume control it all goes wrong. Think I posted in the wrong thread as well as this is vista but it just seemed so relevant.

  • Creative L3500 Speaker system and Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS Soundcard (I have a driver probl

When i do uninstall my soundcard (i need to uninstall current driver to install new driver)and i restart my comp after removing the old one i get sound, but i notice i don't get very good sound, not as good as my old before it stoped working. But then after i install new one it just doesn't work!
Please help me if you know about drivers!!!!
PS: I use windows XP and if you need any more info just request it from me.Message Edited by Nick345 on 02-28-200605:05 PM

JRe: Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS Platinum - Speaker issues not covered by FAQs0 I'm afriad that the CMSS3D option did not work? ? I still cannot get any speakers to play out of the rear of the soundcard.
As I said before, the goal is to try to get sound to play out of both the headset and the speakers attached to the rear of the soundcard simuntaneously.
The headset is plugged into one of those devices in the front that is in a 5 & /4" bay that has the individual knobs for adjusting volume for the headset and outbound levels for the microphone.
The speakers are plugged into the back of the soundcard and do not play any sound in any of the sockets, starting from the firewire port and counting 3 over.
Any suggestions? I? thought it might have something to do with the setting of the speakers from control panel - > Sounds and Audio Devices -> Advanced and picking the right choice there. No luck however. Same for the Creative Speaker Settings as well.
I'm at wits end and I'd be very thankful to whoever can resolve this for me. =)

  • All the drivers installed, after restart system says no audio output device fo

I am just saying after installing all the drivers software and restarting, windows says that it is not connected i have checked the motherboard and the card and there is no problem, does anyone have a patcher that can resolve this issue?thanks,

    Couple of questions:?
If you go "My Computer" -> "Properties" -> "Device Manager" do you see any "unknown devices" or even better yet under "Sound, Video & Game Controllers" the CL card?<
Are you using 4GB of RAM...if so remove 2GB and re-install the 2GB after all the updates/drivers have been installed.<
    Vista 64 or Vista32?<
    What motherboard/CPU/PS/Vid card?<
?Otherwise I would try the following if you can:?
Move the CL card to another slot. (I have mine in the most distant slot on the motherboard from the CPU).<
Verify your power supply meets minimum requirements.<
Test the CL card in another system (non Vista).<
Verify the CL card is seated correctly in the PCI slot.<
Verify you have the latest BIOS...and if you flash a new BIOS - reset to defaults first in the BIOS before making config changes.<
Install the new Microsoft compatibility updates: http://forums.creative.com/creativelabs/board/message?board.id=Vista&message.id=2280<

  • Is there a difference between the earphone output and the audio output of the docking connector, or is it in fact the same signal ?

Is there a difference between the earphone output and the audiooutput of the docking connector of the iphone 4, or is it in fact the same signal ?

One basic difference is that the LTE frequencies each is able to operate on are different. After that, it is pretty much the same phone. Others might be able to add to this.

  • HP Quicktouch on screen display has stopped working and no audio output device is detected.

I am growing increasingly frustrated with this problem. this computer {HP pavilion dv6700 notebook} worked fine until yesterday. I have searched these boards and tried every solution with no success. I tried adding hardware and that crashed windows. I tried restoring back to factory condition and the problem still persists. Can anyone help at all?

Add me to this list, it began after updates to Vista SP2.  I swear Apple is going to get a new customer when I finally get tired enough of this crap to buy another computer.  (Which may be soon).....

  • Audio output "How and Where"

Can any one advise me what port at the back of my Mini gives me the optical out so i can connect it to the back of my Pioneer LX82 Amp for sound.I read the info and have found that the following statement is correct.

I need to figure out a way to equalize the output signal from the system's main audio output. I need to equalize the speakers hooked up to my soundcard, and I want the equalization to happen to everything going out of the sound card.
