T400 Windows 7 drivers
Hi
My kid upgraded my T400 to Windows 7 and now I can't get several things to work. I can't find the Windows 7 Thinkvantage software nor the Bluetooth drivers. Now none of my function keys work, no bluetooth and can't switch between the Intel graphics card and the ATI one. These are minor annoyances but still would like it to work again.
If someone can link them that would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
D
Install the ethernet driver:

T400 Windows XP Random Freezes / Lockups (no BSOD) - Intel Wireless issue?
Hi,
I installed Windows XP Pro SP3 on my new Thinkpad T400 purchased a few days ago. I installed all the latest drivers and thinkvantage software from the drivers matrix.
For two days now the system randomly freezes. The screen freezes, i cannot move the mouse or keyboard. Some FN buttons like the Thinklight still work, the rest does not and it ultimately requires a force power off by holding the power button pressed.
Interestingly enough the Wireless symbol still blinks even when the laptop is frozen. When i turn off the wireless switch, the bluetooth icon will turn off, yet the wireless KEEPS blinking (normally both turn off when the wireless switch is turned off).
I originally had the lenovo intel wireless 5100 drivers, now tried the intel.com drivers, no avail, same issue. The system also freezes when just sitting idle. I have not yet tried if the freezes occur with wireless turned off, will try later...
Kind of annoying as i had various BSODs due to the lenovo intel Matrix Storage driver (the original intel one made it go away), now this problem...is XP just not really supported by this machine?

Where are the Windows Drivers?
Hi,
When I run Bootcamp 2.0 And try to partition the drive for Vista bootcamps says..."After you have installed and set up windows, insert your Mac OS X Leopard install disc to install additional drivers and other software for windows."
So I went looking on my install discs. I cant figure out where these Windows drivers are. Anyone know? You can also find the drivers in the boot camp download page. Depending on your flavor of Windows (32bit or 64bit), you'll download different updates for Boot Camp 2.1.
Go here - http://www.apple.com/support/bootcamp/
On the upper right corner of the screen you will see the Software Updates section. Click on the appropriate link to download the file you need. The files that you download are Windows executables and should only be downloaded in Windows. They can also be run directly from the website, but clicking the Run button (instead of Save) after you click the appropriate download link.
Hope that helps!

Does Apple really not have any place that I can download Windows drivers for the hardware in my August 2010 Macbook Pro?!? I am trying to use windows through bootcamp, and I am having tons of trouble. I know there are supposed to be drivers in the OSX DVD that came with my computer, but that is all the way back in Maryland and I go to school in Tennessee.
<rant> Sorry if I seem irritated. I just got over a total hard drive crash in this computer that isn't even 2 years old. I have drives that are almost 10 years old in my PC desktop.. The drive that came stock with my Macbook pro was a total piece of crap in comparison to the cheapest notebook drives at Best Buy. Really Apple?? 5400 RPM 8mb Cache Hitachi drive?? *Pukes in mouth* </rant>Sorry for the rant. This is what happens everytime I have tried. I actually have a booting Windows 7 partition on here already but it is barely running on the stock/generic windows drivers that are just there to get the OS through install.
I have an OSX 10.6 disk, but it is 10.6.0, and I wasn't even able to make that boot into the Mac installer when I installed OSX on the new hard drive. I had to run my Macbook as a Firewire disk plugged into a Mac Pro and install it from there and update to 10.6.8. I think this was because the 10.6.0 install disk doesn't have drivers for my 2010 revision of the Macbook Pro. I doubt that the 10.6.0 disk has the right Windows drivers if it doesn't even have the right Mac drivers. -
Windows drivers on Snow Leopard to use TV tuner stick.
While I know that there are ways to run a windows app on a mac through vmware and crossover, is there any way I can use a hardware (ENTER USB TV Tuner Stick with a 'Xceive XC2028 silicon tuner' chip) which only has windows drivers on a mac?
Neeravi found one opens source software call MythTV which supports my chip but the installation is super complex.
i've a set top box which has a tv out and a composite video out. i use the composite video out to watch on my lcd tv. and the tv out is directed to the tv tuner. this tv out is just an extra split of the tv in that my router gets, just incase someone wants both the signals.
is there any way i can make my mac read a composite signal and record it? i've usb 2.0 and firewire 800 port on my mac. that way i can just leave the set top box on and when i want the mac will just record the on going channel for the duration i mention.
please advice. -
Apple Windows drivers on USB, but Windows says I need to format USB to use it
I set up a 16GB USB drive as my Mountain Lion install disk via the Mountain Lion Installer app. I ran BootCamp and had it download and put the Windows drivers also onto the USB stick.
Installed Windows and got to the part where it says I have no drivers.
So when I now put in the USB drive to install the drivers, Windows is saying "You need to format the disk in drive E: before you can use it. Do you want to format it?" ...but that's where the drivers are.
How was the USB stick formatted originally? I don't know, presumably with whatever the default from Disk Utility was when I wiped it.
Ay suggestions?
(e.g....reformat the USB with Windows, reboot into OS X (assuming that works), then have Boot Camp Assistant re-put the Windows drivers on the USB, then reboot into Windows, etc? Trying that now.)
Thanks. The drive must be formatted as FAT32, you can do that on Windows or OSX. Then put the drivers back on it, boot to Windows and install them.

Searching Windows Drivers for 23" Display
Hi,
I got a 23" Cinema Display and I'm using Windows XP.
There is still a "Default Monitor" shown in preferences. Where do I get the correct drivers, so I can set the frequency to more than 60 Hz?
I would appreciate a download link or something where I can find the windows drivers for the Cinema Display.
Cheers,
OliYou can try WinACD drivers (google for it). LCD panels aren't like CRT monitors and are supposed to run at 60Hz, so there's no reason or way to change it.

Bootcamp 3.2 and Windows Drivers 2.2
Hi all,
i'm a little bit confused: There's Bootcamp 3.2 and there are seperate Windows Drivers (current Version 2.2).
So, does the Bootcamp 3.2 update include a Windows drivers that are included in the 2.2 version of the drivers download?
Since i updated to Bootcamp 3.2 i have some issues like: Display drivers issue an error (NVIDIA display panel extension can't be loaded), also NVIDIA desktop manager can't be opened (i worked fine when running Bootcamp 3.0).
I thought about running the Drivers 2.2 update, too but since it's nearly 1 year older than the Bootcamp 3.2 update i didn't do so.
Just in case: i'm on a MacBook Pro running Windows XP (NVIDIA GeForce 9400 M, Driver version 6.14.11.8861).
Thanks: LarsHi,
it's easy to get confused.
The 2.x Driver packages were introduced with OSX 10.5 Leopard.
The 3.x Driver packages were introduced with OSX 10.6 Snow Leopard.
When you have the 3.2 Drivers installed you are up to date with the Drivers Apple provides.
Nonetheless, especially the Graphics Drivers "outdate" the moment they are released.
There might be a newer / better driver for the 9400 M avaiable at Nvidias website.
As always with driver updates: have/make a backup before or at least a 'System Restore Point'. Just in case.

Installing SB Live! Value - Updating Windows Drivers h
Hey guys,?am installing an old SB Li've! Value (that worked perfectly fine before i reformatted). I downloaded the drivers from the site, so rest assured it's the most updated. When it reaches the part "Updating Windows Drivers, please wait" it stops processing and just hangs there. After some time, i just end the task. An error msg pops up saying "Remote Procedure Call Failed"?Why can't i get it to install? Also, WIndows always automatically "install" drivers for the card everytime i uninstall it and if i don't install the driver from creative.com, i will get BSOD about emu0k.sys (or something like that)?Hope you guys can help?
What OS are you using, XP, Vista? Did you try installing the drivers with your SB installation CD?

Whenver I try to DL the Windows drivers from Bootcamp Assistant, I get a pop up that says "This Mac only supports Windows 7. Do you want to continue?". I click continue, but the download always fails stating "Can't install the software because it is not currently available from the Software Update server." and the utility shuts down. This has happened for Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 iso's.
I've chatted with support online and they basically led me through the steps of resetting the SMC and PRAM, but this has not worked.
The odd thing is, Bootcamp assistant was able to download the drivers successfully the first couple of times, only to fail during the installation of Windows, with the infamous "Can not load boot configuration" error. Ever since those first couple of times, I am unable to succesfully download the drivers.
Frustrating...any ideas? The first time I installed windows 7, I had no issues what so ever. Then I decided to installed windows 8.1. So I went ahead removed the windows 7 partition via BootCamp. When I tired to install windows 8.1, I ran into the exact same issue. I went ahead and tired to reinstall windows 7 and the issue persisted.
Would be nice to find a solution for this problem. -
Why no Windows drivers for Bluetooth Headsets? (bh...
I love my BH-102, it's the best headset I've had, and in fact even want to use it with my PC for things like skype, voice chat etc... whenever I'm home. I was shocked however to find there are no windows drivers for it! Why not? It's a massive additional market to free people from clunky annoying corded headset and mic combos. Does anyone know of any drivers, maybe I just didn't find them?
This is not a problem with the headset but a bluetooth issue in windows, the default microsft bluetooth driver does not support all profiles, you need to make sure you install the proper drivers for your bluetooth chip.
When the proper bluetooth drivers are installed you will be able to pair it properly and then go into settings and select the headset profile.
I also had to change the default speakers to the headset under the windows sound settings.
If you have a laptop the bluetooth drivers is probably on the manufacturers website, if you purchased a bluetooth usb dongle then you probably received a cd with it. -

I am just wondering where I can find the Windows drivers for my Macbook Pro, since my old Bootcamp 1.3 installation won't work.Hi,
not an ISO, you should look in the content packages for 'DiskImage.dmg'
