T400 Windows 7(x64) Professional, unable to get bluetooth pan to work.

Hi guys!
I've had an issue with my computer's bluetooth pan ever since I got it serviced for some hardware malfunctions about a year ago. From everything that I've tried, I can't get my bluetooth pan to show up in the devices manager.
I'm open for any suggestions as to how I can get this thing working again. I really liked my mouse

I am having problems using my Motorola HT-820 Stereo headset, with the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack installed on Vista Home Premium 32bit laptop.
I am unable to get the mic to function at all, so cannot use it for Skype / VOIP calls etc. Features such as the A2DP and AVRCP work fine, and I can listen to music via media player without issues.
I have read in a FAQ on this site, to make sure I use the Custom Setup option rather than Express Setup when adding the device, but it doesnt seem to make any difference, am I missing a step here?
In the Windows Recording device properties, I can see the option listed for Bluetooth Mic, but even setting it as the default device doesnt work.
I know from connecting my headset to my Desktop PC which uses the Widdcom bluetooth stack, that i can use the Headset/mic function, but this stack seems to work differently, as in I can select the headset option within the bluetooth settings, but I cannot see such an option withing the Toshiba stack - and i think this is where the problem is.
I have updated to the latest Toshiba stack from this web site, but this has not helped any.
Any help here would be appreciated.

No images appear with Windows 7 x64 Professional with IE9 any solution?

Embedded Flash Player images only appear as brief flashes when using IE9 running under Windows 7 x64 Professional and Flash Player version 13. Flash Player has full permission to present these images but I only get these brief flashes of individual frames. Seems to be true of any web-based software than embeds such Flash Player images.

Yes - but that doesn't have anything at all to do with it. 11gr2 Dataguard Active Standby - Unable to get Real-Time apply working

As above, I am unable to get real time apply to work WITHOUT it switching my standby back to MOUNT state. There does not seem to be anyting obvious from the broker, or alert logs.
On the Standby:

Works the same exact way on my system. How Redo Data is applied is set when the database is MOUNTED.

The document is vague on this at best, but think about the error you get if you try to start apply twice.

Unable to get listeners on server working

I have 2 listeners (listener_ss01 & listener_ss02) for 2 database instances in the same Linux 6.1 server.
Below is my configuration in the listener.ora file.
I am unable to get both listeners up together.
If I use 'lsnrctl start listener_ss01', there is no service handler assigned to it. And starting the 2nd listener, I will be told that is already started. As there is no service handler assigned to it, I am not able to connect to either databases.
However, if I only have one listener configuration in the file, it will work properly under the listener name LISTENER.
Please help me.

I did the modification (as you have advised) but I am only able to get one listener running at a time.
When I use "lsnrctl start listener_ss01",
listener_ss01 gets started and is assigned a service handler.
However, when I next enter "lsnrctl start listener_ss02", I get the message informing that the listener has been started using listener_ss01. I am thus only able to connect to database ss01 and not ss02.

I restored my computer to factory and now I am unable to get flash player to work.

How do I get flash player to work. I have trouble shooted it. It appears to be there - passes test that indicates it is installed. however when I go to a site where I had crearted a special DVD that I need for cousin's funeral tomorrow, it says I need to update flash player. ???? I'm am stumped and frustrated.

I have an 8830 (Verizon Wireless) and am running Windows XP. I've gone through some tutorials but still can't seem to figure out how to get the Bluetooth synch to work. The "enable bluetooth synchronization" option is always greyed out.
Anybody have any advice?

Copying large files problem in windows 7 x64 professional

Hi!
I'm new to this forum and I recently installed windows 7 professional without too much trouble in my pc. The only thigs that doesn't work are the quicklaunch buttons (which I'm expecting HP to release it until october 22). The system is functioning ok, but I discovered a very serious problem when tranferring large size files (copy or move function) to an external source (in my case a external HD: model Western Digital My book 1 TB connected via USB).
When I try to move a file that is larger than 1 GB the system during the process gets slower and slower rendering my system useless unless I cancel the process and restart. This only happens when moving files from my notebook to my HD.
I've been doing my homework and I checked microsoft technet forums, here's what I found:
1.It seems a lot of people have this problem, in particullar the ones with an asus motherboard (which I know this isn't the case). But in my case since I don't know which motherboard my notebook has, I can't come up with a solution to this problem.
2. It seems to be a particullar problem with the 64 version of windows.
3. The users claim that the problem was solved when they upgraded the chipset, which I somehow tried but with the current vista drivers, but the problem wasn't solved.
4. Some users claim that by using other software like teracopy or grant full permission control seems like a workaround to this, but no in my case. It doesn't work.
5. With sisoft sandra I managed to get my motherboard from this notebook but with no luck finding information or upgrades to a Quanta motherboard.

Windows 7 x64 Professional does not boot after install

I created a Windows 7 VM in Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard Hyper-V, all the installation process done successfully, but after installation, it failed to boot and shows a black screen, and didn't boot after it.
Following is the event log occurs.

How many vCPU and how much RAM have you given the VM?
Are you using alt +F10 and going into the shell to format the VHD and prior to the installation?
Are you using media that has SP1 slip streamed into it?
Have you tried forcing the vm off and then back on again?

No, I haven't try formatting the VHD between the window installation. This is the first time I'm facing the issue. It is a simple windows 7 pre activated iso file, not powered by SP1. I have tried forcing the VM off and ON again, but simply i can't get the
window screen back. Whenever the VM malfunctioning like this, then it cannot be shut down from the Hyper-V directly, but to make the VM Turn Off manually.

HP Pavilion dv6-6b56er and Windows 7 x64 Professional

Hello.
I've purchased Pavilion dv6-6b56er with pre-installed Win7 x64 Basic, which is not convenient for me, because of it's lack in functionality. So I've made a full backup of pavilion's hard drives and deleted all software from it. Then I've installed Win 7 x64 Pro and confronted with some difficulties regarding drivers for USB 3.0. Everything else is working fine. I know, that HP do not responsible for any experiments with non-pre-installed software, but still I have some questions.
First of all, which driver I should install for pavilion's USB 3.0 ports? At downloads page I've found three different options:
1. Renesas.

The first two have been installed (I mean they CAN be installed), the third one - doesn't install at all. So what's the reason of putting it on download page?
The more the merrier. When you try to install package with NEC driver, installation master tells you, that it's Renesas driver. So there is no NEC driver on the download page at all. Why I've payed so much attention to it? I've installed Everest, so I can find out what driver is needed. It tells me that I have "NEC uPD720200 USB 3.0 Host Controller". So, there is no available driver on download page for NEC chipset and we have NEC chipset inside.
Meanwhile Windows' Support center offered some NEC driver for USB 3.0 (http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp47501-48000/sp47677.exe ).
So, who is right?
The second question. If try to connect to USB 3.0 port some compound device (usb hub for example), then in "devices and printers" appear strange devices with label "No data". If Renesas driver has been installed then "USB 2.0 hub" appeared, and if Windows' proposed NEC - then "NEC Electronics USB Hub". The count of strange devices depend on number of devices connected to this compound device. This is my main problem - these strange devices.
So I came to the deadlock. Any ideas to solve this problem?

Is the following image what you see when you start the recovery manager with the disk? This is for the CyberLink type Recovery Manager within Windows. The windows for the external recovery manager should be similar. I will use the external Recovery Manager on my loaner dv7 notebook and post an image later on today.

Unable to get Home Sharing to work w/iTunes 10.1.1 for Windows

If I was less technical a person I would wonder. I have turned on Home Sharing in my iTunes 10.1.1 on my laptop. I have turned on Home Sharing on my Apple Tv. But when I select Computers on the Apple Tv nothing comes up and there doesn't appear to be any way to troubleshoot this. Any ideas? I just had to login to the Apple site to post this so I know the password I gave the AppleTV was the latest one for my iTunes/Apple account.

Same problem with many user's it seems.
Disabling firewalls made no difference - I've turned them off; uninstalled them and did all the other "helpful" things like porting the addresses through my router. (Actually tried two of the latest routers - the latest Belkin Playmax and the Netgear Dual Band router). On many forums people tested the routers and made setting adjustments but I've not seen one solution.
The Apple TV and the PC can be "seen" by the router and connect to it (and the internet). So internally; the router does what it says on the box.
Apple TV is also visible to the PC; as I can ping the router from the PC.
(Start, Run, "cmd", ping 192.xxx.xxx.xxx)
I have contacted both Belkin and Netgear and they believe the issue lies with ATV2. They also mentioned that ATV1 used to work without much of a problem.
It seems the Iphone 4 antenna guy took an internal transfer the Apple TV department.
Not quite as "plug and play" as they had me believe. Currently still without any Home Share functionality.
I thought it maybe linked to access rights on a PC file structure - but the fact that ATV1 worked on the same PC throws that theory out the window.
Oh yes; Airplay works between Iphone 4 and ATV2.
Any really clever people have any ideas on solving this? I've not found a tech expert from any hotline being able to help. yet.

Unable to get Photoshop CS2 to work

Hi, I have just installed Photoshop CS2 on my new win VISTA HOME machine. There was no problems, I got a notification of a large update from ADOBE, so I accpeted, shut down Photoshop, installed updates and then when I re-boot my machine and opened up Photoshop again, I got this error message.
"Unable to continue because of a hardware or system error. Sorry, but this error is unrecoverable"

Reinstalled Windows 8.1 and can't get wireless adapter to work

I just did a fresh install of my OEM Windows 8.1. At this point I'm trying to get my wireless network setup again.
If I look under device manager under "Other devices" there is a Network Controller listed, which I'm assuming is my wireless card. If I try to go online to look for drivers, nothing is found.
I've downloaded the most recent Intel Wireless LAN Driver listed in the Drivers & Software section of this website, and that doesn't seem to do anything after install and reboot.

Toshiba's are picky about installation order - install the chipset then video driver before the other drivers and install the TVAP before the other Toshiba applications.
Select drivers tab then windows 8.1 64 bit, then Lan - install the lan driver, wifi to see available drivers and install. The card reader is often an unknown device so install it to.
You will need the TVAP for special functions key to work
Sometimes it takes a few start overs with Toshiba's untill you get installation order correct.
Here is a installation order to use as a guide, your model is different so you will have to get the drivers from your support page.

Unable to get _.instanceManager.addInstance working

I created a very simple Expense Report form using Adobe Designer 7.0 and I'm not able to get the addInstance function to work. What I'm trying to do is have a button for my users to add additional line items. I have created a subform called "BasicInfo" with Type: Flow Content. Under this subform is another subform called "Items". The Items subform has the "Repeat subform for each data item" enable. I created a button with the following javascript: "item.instanceManager.addinstance(true);".
The button is not working. What am I doing wrong? Your help is appreciated.
