T400s Problems with screen after reconnection power.
I am happy for my T400s but is some times has screen issues when the power is plug in and it wakes up from sleep. I have some pictures of it.

Is there a problem with the computer ?
I have this too. I believe it has to do with a changed power state (or however you call this) since the moment of suspension / hibernation. I think it's even reproducable:
1. Have your PC plugged on AC (respectively not)
2. Suspend / hibernate your PC
3. Unplug (respectively do connect to charger)
4. Resume & login, voilà!
So what I started doing is e.g. first unplug my laptop before I suspend and leave home... You can imagine.
A graphics driver issue?

I have the following problem. I have Sony Xperia Z (c6603) which I purchase on 07.2013. Two months ago the phone broke in my pocket (Display, touch screen also the back panel - all gorila glass parts ). Because there is no official service in my town(Plovdiv, Bulgaria) I give the phone to some service here and they changed the broken parts. Now phone have some other problem: After few (2-3) hours work screen begin to flickr, letters look like they are swimming in water and later part of display turn to black. I am big fan of Sony and have lot of their products (Phones, TVs, Cameras) but I am really in love with this phone and I wonder is there some way to fix this problem or I will have to continue to use Mine Xperia X10. Problem with screen after update

I have a BB Passport and I have a problem after the last software update OS 10.3.1.1565
- the screen is flashing when i go into an application... This happens randomly... not every time. First I had this problem with Evernote. I erased everything from my phone and I performed a full wipe (factory reset). The problem is not solved. now is happening more often... when I go to settings, when I open an app... and so on. Usualy is flashing white screen, but last night when I wanted to watch a video, it flashed green screen...

Problem with screen after update Safari 3.2.1
After installing Safari 3.2.1 and restarting the computer I am seeing problems with the display.
For example the screen saver is not rendered right.
I looked into the console and saw the error:

Doing a google search I found a thread on this error and decided to remove the Safari icon from the Dock.
Logging out and logging back in again the problem went away.
Adding the safari icon back to the doc and logging out/in brought the problem back.
So I changed the safari icon and the problem went away.
Note: Reinstalling safari did not helphttp://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB36757

Problem with Zen after charging on power soc
hey everybody,
i charged my Zen with a usb adapter on a power socket, it worked well, but after that it is not recognized by my computer anymore. it charges well, but i can't access it. maybe now it *thinks* that it is connected to a socket and not to a computer? what can I do? has? anyone the same problem?
thanks?If you haven't already you should try to reset it via the tiny reset hole (use a paperclip or other suitable small instrument). I've had my Zen inexplicably hang with a black screen when connecting and disconnecting the USB plug (both to a computer and a simple USB charger).
I think it unlikely you've fried anything by hooking it up to a USB charger in good working order. The power parameters of USB devices are well-defined and USB chargers tend to be pretty interchangeable because of it. The risk is accidentally using a charger for some crazy device whose designers decide to use a USB-style connector as a convenience for themselves while the device/charger don't conform to USB wiring or specs. Then its anyone's guess what will happen.
I'd speculate the biggest electrical risk to the Zen is accidentally zapping it with static electricity through the metal tip of the USB connector while plugging it in. -

Upgraded three systems to Mountain Lion yesterday (Early 2011 MBP, Mid 2010 Mini and Mid 2011 Mini).
I rely on Screen Sharing to maintain the two Minis using the MBP. Now, while the Mid 2010 Mini can be accessed just fine, the same is not true for the Mid 2011 Mini. After a long delay, a window will pop up but is black. If I toggle between scaled and full screen a couple of times, the screen will be displayed but will accept no input. Odd.I was able to resolve the problem with screen sharing from my MBP to my problematic Mini.
My home network uses a Belkin N600 dual band router with both the MBP and Mini using the faster N band. After switching the Mini to the slower band, screen sharing began working again. My other Mini that worked all along was hardwired to the router so was not an issue.
Oddly, with Lion, screen sharing worked having the MPB and Mini on the same N band. -
NMac Pro 6core D500 problems with screen refresh: 10.9.3 warning!

Problem with screen refresh using Motion soon after updating OSX from Mac Pro late 2013 version of 10.9.2.
I tried my Asus HDMI at all resolutions but to no avial. The screen juddered like it was Windows 95 without any GPU drivers.
Apple's Tech Support had me use many key commands and finally we found out there was no issue with my hardware. Apple suggested a clean install before sending it back for repair. I was fortunate to have had made a backup in the Time Machine of my computer soon after installing all my apps. After restoring my computer is running 10.9.2 version made for the Mac Pros Late 2013. There are no more problems with screen redraw after using Motion.
So, it is clear I cannot upgrade my Mac Pro to 10.9.3 while the issue with Motion's render engine messing with my screen refresh continues. Returning to 10.9.2 has made me realize 10.9.3 is slower and not as stable.
I would suggest not upgrading unless you have a 4k monitor.Avoid 10.9.3 on the Mac Pro 6 core, D500.

Here is the whole story. I recently moved to iMac 10.5.6 from PowerPc 10.4. On this new machine I was having problem running a 3rd party application, which requires JVM. As this application worked well on Tiger, I decided to upgrade JVM on my iMAC using Software Upgrade(was I insane!!). As I like my systems to be updated (as with linux on my personal machine) I clicked "install all". As a result I have the following upgrades run on my machine:

In the wake of this java problem I resorted to keep working on my old machine, and today in my spare time I tried to fix this new machine.
So I execute $java on prompt, and then try to check the files it has opened, using lsof -p pid
I see it referring to
/System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/1.5.0/Home/bin/java
isn't this usually the JAVA_HOME
However, executing $/System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/1.5.0/Home/bin/java
hangs!!
but
$/System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/1.6.0/Home/bin/java
works!!
$ pwd
/System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/1.6/Home/bin
$ ./java -version
java version "1.6.0_07"

There is no /Home in here, which is usually the case for /1.5 or /1.6
Anyways, things seems to work for the moment. Lets see if I get problem with using Java.

Problems with Mail after upgrading to 10.9.1
I am running into problems with Mail after installing 10.9.1. I had NO problems with Mail prior to this update.
Problems I have encountered so far are:
- I don't receive some e-mails on my Gmail account.
- I have sent e-mails that supposedly got "sent" but do not show up in my Sent box both on mail and on web Gmail. My Outbox is empty also.
Has anyone encountered the same problems and found a solution?
Thanks in advance!Yes Paul I have, but no solution. I cannot send email. My ISP uses a smtp mail server for sending and It will not log in. Have had ISP on phone and checked all settings. Can only put it down to Mavericks.
It worked OK for a week after upgrading then stopped. So now having to use web mail to send email.
Strange thing is I receive mail OK, just cant send. -
I'm having problems with itunes after updating. I've lost all my playlists,,finally played around with it and got the songs back but some have an exclamation point beside them and can't be located. they are songs i've purchased. I'm not very computer literate so this is a major problem. I have spent hours with this. I just want all my songs to play even though I'm not happy that I have to recreate my playlists. It would be so much easier if I knew and understood how to correct this. Has anyone else had this problem and if so..is there an easy way to correct it?
