T410 bluetooth device NOT FOUND

Hello Everyone,
I have a t410, product id is 2539AJ6 (bluetooth included), running Windows 8.
however i can't get bluetooth to work, in addition it seems like there is no trace for a bluetooth device on this computer:
- Can't install driver ("Device not found").
- Not Recognized by Windows 8.
- on BIOS, Security -> I/O Port blah blah -> no mention of bluetooth settings there.
where do i go from here? anybody ever encountered such an issue with bluetooth?
btw, im pretty sure there is a bluetooth device on this laptop.
appreciate any help

  • T410 broadband device not found

    Hello
I am trying to get the built in broadband device work (of course i have purcached the device and installed the hardware aswell as all the required softwares and driver which means the qualcomm gobi 2000 usb composite device 9205 driver and all the thinkvantage sofwares: access connection, active protection system, keyboard customizer utility, mobile broadband connect)
What i'm experiencing is that in the wireless connection status window / mobile broadband tab , under the connection status i see that it has recognised the t-mobile network i should be able to connect to. It says that i have a working connection for minutes with a good quality signal, but when i actually try to connect through the acces connections i get the error message of "connection failed" and i have the two options: "help me fix this" and  "close" after i chose the help it goes to the diagnostic tools where the connection status is "not connected" cause "service provider not found" ...then i go to the "sign-up and support" button which leads me to the mobile broadband connect window where i get the following error "no wireless mobile broadband device found" and at the background it also says mobile broadband device not found.
I have tried to reinstall all the drivers and softwares replacing them with the latest ones which didn't have any effect on my problem.
Also i have checked the BIOS settings or my computers wireless settings in-case something is wrong, but everything was set as it should.
At last i have updated the BIOS to the latest one found on your site ( which is 1.32  2010/09/17) but still no change, and i am absolutely sure that the hardware device is installed correctly onto the laptops board.
I'm attaching a capture of the sreen which contains most of the details you need to know, in case i have missed something please let me know.

  • X300 Bluetooth device not found

    Hello,
When I try to install the bluetooth utilities I get a message from the setup utility, that there is no bluetooth adapter installed on the system. There are no errors in device manager (all drivers are ok) and I though bluetooth was standard on the x300. Could anyone provide any suggestions, maybe I disabled something somewhere?
    Thanks

If you are sure the buletooth device came with the laptop and the laptop does not find it  do this.
    Make sure bluetooth is enable.
    - There may be a on/off switch on sides
-Check bluetooth is enable in bios.
If no progress then use an external USB bluetooth.

  • Bluetooth device not found

I did a search on the forums but got 0 results for this equipment. I just purchased a Photosmart B8550 printer and a bt500 bluetooth USB 2.0 wireless adapter. I want to be able to print wirelessly from my computer due to some mobility issues I have. I have installed/uninstalled/reinstalled everything but I still can't get the two to talk to each other. The printer works fine otherwise.  I have checked and double checked and everything seems to be connected correctly, all the lights are on that are supposed to be, but I'm at a loss as to where/what I should check.  Can you help??
    This question was solved.

I had some issues with BT as well. My solution was hooking up the printer with USB, go to printer properties (assuming you run Windows) and then go to printing preferences, then to the tab 'color' then to 'printer services', then to tab 'bluetooth' and then change the security level to high. This resets the in printer bluetooth driver and allowed me to communicate with the printer. AFter the communication worked, I switched back to security level 'low'. If the communication with the printer is in a deadlock, this securitiy swithing trick seems the only way to reset the printer bluetooth driver. Hope this helps! Good luck, John.

  • HT204387 is there a way to connect my ipod touch via bluetooth to my laptop? keeps saying bluetooth peripheral device not found

Is there any way to connect my ipod touch to my laptop that is running Windows 7? I've tried and tried and very time it will connect but then when it goes to download the drives an error pops up saying "bluetooth peripheral device not found".

The bluetooth is largely meant for speakers and keyboards, not data transfer.

  • In-built Audio device not found

    Hi Guys,
My macbook pro suddenly finds no audio device inbuilt. And i can play no sound nor hear start up sound when switching on mac.
I get a 'no parking' like symbol beneath my audio options.
I've tried rebooting in safe mode, Resetting PRAM, Repairing permissions in disk utilities, use my ipod touch headsets, headphones.. NOthing worked.
And i'm feeling deaf whenever using Mac now.
Is there anyway to get the audio back ?
    Thanks,
    Raesh

Hmm.. Okay. Would give it a last try.
And I have a couple question before doing that..
    1. I did the hardware test and It gave me this error .. " 4SNS/1/C0000008 :TPCD--24 "
But When i looked up for this error, it tells me a sensor problem. Not as Audio device problem. Do you think this hardware error of 'sensor' has something to do with audio ?
    2. So in-built speaker isn't working, plugging in headphones cable isn't working. But i was wondering whether a bluetooth speaker would be recoganised in the system preferences > audio output device ? Will it work ?
Because i keep on reading that an " in-built audio device not found " problem is a huge one and it costs a lot to repair. They often provide solution of changing the whole logic board (Keeping fingers crossed). And with my warranty period over, I don't wish to go through that path.  So want to know if external bluetooth speaker has a chance to get recoganised as an audio device, Then I would buy JBL bluetooth speakers. It seems good and less pricey than changing the whole logic board.
Let me know which way i can go, Thanks in Advance Man.

  • HP Device Not Found Error when trying to print or scan wireless- HP Officejet Pro L7590

Have had HP Officejet Pro L7590 All-In-One Printer for years.  Always worked fine and I had no issues printing via wireless connection.  Several months ago..  Possibly after a Windows 8 update.  From Windows 8 to Windows 8.1 I have not been able to use the printers wireless feature.  When I try to print or scan it shows the printer as offline.  Also get an error message that tells me "HP Imaging device is not found".  I can still print when connected to USB.  Cannot scan or use features of the HP software suite.  I have tried several times to correct.  Reloading the software and drivers several times, but no success.  I just tried again and was able to print the test page wireless, so got all excited and thought I fixed it.  Then tried to print something and got the same error message I have seen in the past.  I have talked to certain supports saying that it may be a firewall setting within Windows.  Any other suggestions?  Thanks

  • Photosmart 7515 connect via USB but not wireless, Device not found on Network

Purchased a 7515 all-in-one, was able to setup wirelessly to MacPro but has lost ability to connect wirelessly.  This happened with OS X Lion and nor MountainLion.  Have a TimeMachine Airport.  Printer connects to network but during setup from MacPro, repeatedly get "Device Not Found on Network" after stepping through wireless installation setup screens.  I have reset router, printer, firmware updates, software updates.... at wits end.  I have followed the instructions on the below resource page link with no luck.  Use WPA-PSK encryption (Automatic AES or TKIP) on network and diagnostics on printer pass.
    Please help anyone!
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c02946597&tmp_task=solveCategory&cc=us&dlc=en&la...

It sounds like the Macs and the printer just aren't communicating.
If you press the network icon on the printer, does it indicate it is connected to the network?
I recommend two additional steps that are not listed in the linked document.  The printing system of the Mac may need to be reset as it will clear any software that could be interfering (such as corrupted installations).
Follow the steps as outlined for 10.7 or 10.8 in this document from HP.
The next step is to install the driver package from Apple.  This can be found here.

  • I'm receiving error Boot Device Not Found and Hard disk not exist when I boot up my laptop

I'm receicing the error Boot Device Not Found when i power on my HP G60-235DX laptop.  After following HP's recommended troubleshooting steps, I receive error Hard disk not exist.  Hmmmm....that's a little concerning.  My guess is I need a new hard drive?    I have the 17 recovery disks I made when I setup this laptop, however I'm not sure if they will resolve this issue.  Any suggestions?

One of 3 things has happened, listed from most likely to least likely
    1. Hard drive has died, replace it with one of the same size or larger, then use the HP recovery discs to re-install windows.
2, The motherboard has serious problems. (Replace the notebook)
    3. The hard drive cable that connects it to the motherboard has somehow failed, not very likely. (replace the cable)
Replace the hard drive with a new one and use your recovery discs to get Windows back on it.
Here is your service manual, will show you how to replace the hard drive

Hi i bought my presario CQ61-405AX 2nd hand roughly a year ago and it was almost new, my laptop was running fine, and then it froze, and so i had to turn it off, after i waited 30min for it to unfreeze, it now, when i boot it up, appears with a black screen, with the error
    "Boot Device Not Found
Pleae install a operating system on your hard disk
    F2 system diagnostiscs"
I went onto hp support and followed the prompts until it did a hard disk test and the error, "Hard Disk Not Exist" appeared
I have no idea how to fix it, i am running Windows 7 home premium, and i fear i may have to buy another hard drive
    Thank's in advance

    Hi,
The most likely explanation is that your Hard Drive has failed and will need to be replaced, however as a further test, try the following.
    1.  Create a bootable Ubuntu CD - a guide on creating an Ubuntu CD and the download can be found Here.
    2.  When created, follow the guide on the link below to Try Ubuntu.
    http://www.ubuntu.com/download/help/try-ubuntu-before-you-install
The 'Try Ubuntu' option runs the OS from the CD without the need to install on your HDD.  If this runs Ok ( it will be slow running from a CD ), this would tend to confirm that the problem is with the HDD.

  • Boot device not found. "Hard disk not exist". windows not booting

    Product: HP G72-110SA
    OS: Win7
two days ago, I was installing updates on my computer and when it was about to restart, it froze. After waiting for 10 minutes, I had to turn it off by pressing the off button. From then on, the computer turns on but shows a message "Boot device not found".
I have tried all the BIOS tests that I could find on the net for the hard disk, eg: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01443465&tmp_task=solveCategory&cc=uk&dlc=en&la...
This gives me a "Hard disk not exist" error. I tried resetting the BIOS, that didn't work. I tried taking out and putting back in the battery, the memory and the hard disk. Still no luck.
I then booted ubuntu from cd on the computer. It works just fine, including the internet etc EXCEPT the HDD is still not detected.
I had some pretty important stuff and no back up, so would appreciate if someone can help me get back the data. If not, even if I know its just a HDD failure and not a motherboard/BIOS problem, it will be a relief as its probably fixable.
    Thanks

    Hi there ,
Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome! This is a great site to get answers and ask questions. I would be happy to assist you. As there are many models of HP Notebooks, I would need the model number. (How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?) When I went to www.hp.com/go/techcenter/startup, it gave me documentation and troubleshooting steps to follow. One of the documents it provided is called Hard Disk Error Displays before the Computer Starts. NOTE: I recommend at this point you make an immediate backup of all important data and files. Here are instructions on how to Backing Up Your Files (Windows 8). Please follow the troubleshooting steps provided, re-post with the results of the troubleshooting in detail. Thank you.

  • Boot device not found, hard disk not exist.... does that mean my computer is dead?

Suspecting that Im in a world of hurt here. I tried turning on my computer and it says "boot device not found" - run in test failed... when I hit F4 and run a hard disk test it says "hard disk not exist". The memory test passes, but under the boot device not found it says in blue "please install an operating system on your hard disk"... and to make matters worse it's making some funny noises when it tries to boot.
Is there any hope at all that this computer will work again? Is there any chance that any of the things I had on my hard disk can be recovered?
    This question was solved.
    View Solution.

    You're very welcome, Jonathan.
dv5 still isn't enough info for me to provide the service manual (in case there are differerent ones for the different dv5 models).
However here is the link to the service manual I randomly pulled.
    http://bizsupport1.austin.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c01550108/c01550108.pdf
Assume it is safe to say all dv5 models come with SATA notebook drives.
So, if you want to spring for $15, you can get this enclosure which apparently has very good reviews.
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182138
From what you are describing (noise and stuff), I would say you don't have much of a chance to recover data but that is up to you if you want to try the enclosure or not.
    Here is what I recommend:
Yank the hard drive, and power on the notebook.
If the odd noise you heard is gone, then you can pretty much safely assume the drive was the cause, and that replacing the drive, and reinstalling the operating system will solve the issue.
If the noise is still there, then there could be another issue, and it might be risky throwing good money after bad.

    Hi
I have a Satellite L50-B05D and I recently downloaded the bios update and I applied it to my system. When I did it said that it contained the update already. After being on the laptop for a while, I closed the lid and it turnt off. When I turnt it back on Windows wouldn't load up and a message of bootable device not found occured.
    Any help is appreciated

Did you check the HDD status on the first BIOS page?
If HDD is OK, the first BIOS page should provide the info about the connected HDD (HDD name)
At the other hand the HDD might be faulty if its not listed on the first BIOS page.
