T420 Fn+Space function won't zoom out

I found out that Fn+Space makes the screen zoom in so when I tested it out it zoomed in and then out again fine. I then zoomed in again and I can't zoom back out. Pressing the function doesn't do anything and neither does double clicking or holding it down, it's not the ease of access program because when I was that it just goes even further in. I restarted my computer and it's still zoomed in.
For some reason when I extend the screen with Fn+F7 it goes back to normal but I do have the possibility of losing stuff on the right side of my screen if I drag anything over there so it's not a long term solution.
Is there anyway to zoom out again?

Turn off Zoom from the Universal Access and Keyboard & Mouse panes of System Preferences.

IPad screen zoomed in and won't zoom out

My first gen iPad screen is zoomed in and I can't get it to zoom out. I have restarted, reset and done all I can think of short of doing a restore.
Can I restore without doing the update? I don't mind doing a restore I just don't want to do the upgrade.

Double-tap the screen with three fingers to switch off the zoom function, then disable it from Settings > General > Accessibility.

Screen zoomed in, won't zoom out

The display was adjusted somehow and now all of my screen is zoomed in. I tried zooming out with the function keys and that didn't work. On my desktop I have to move the mouse to the bottom of the screen so it will scroll just to see my dock bar because I cant see my dock bar as if I normally could had things not been adjusted. Does anyone have an idea what I should do? Thanks

It is three fingers, not two. From the Users Guide:

My screen won't zoom out - mac book pro (2009)

My brother was using my laptop last night and while he was on a website he wanted to zoom in so he did the two finger thing on the trackpad. This zoomed in my whole computer screen, not just the website. I can't figure out how to get the screen back to normal. I tried the finger trick, i've tried pressing command +, i even shut the computer down and started it up again. My screen is still really zoomed in. I managed to get to system preferences, but I honestly don't have the first idea of what to do there.
Any ideas on how to get my screen back to normal view?

Welcome to Apple Discussions.
In System Preferences click on Trackpad, then make sure all the boxes are checked in the Two Fingers section. There should be boxes for:
Scroll, Rotate, Pinch Open & Close, Screen Zoom & Secondary Tap.
If that doesn't work do a PRAM reset by following these instructions:

Bug? Zooming out via key shortcut won't stop when zooming out (Mac OS 10.7.3)

while I created a new document, I started to zoom in/out particular areas of the images using the key shortkuts <space>+<cmd> for zooming in and <space>+<cmd>+<alt> for zooming out of an area.
While this works fine in my Photoshop CS5, it troubbles in CS6:
Once I want to zoom out (via <space>+<cmd>+<alt> and a left-mouseclick), the zooming won't stop until it reached the smallest zoom level, instead of zooming out just a step. It however works, while I zoom in (via <space>+<cmd> and a left-mouseclick).
I'm so used to this shortcut since a cupple of versions now (it also works in other programms as well) and it is realy annoying.
It also happens that when I press <space> and another key (e.g. to zoom in/out) that Photoshop CS6 does sometimes not release the hand-tool, that I use to move the canvas via holing <space> and left-mouse down. Pressing <space> again solve this. However, I would exspect the hand-/move-tool only to work while <space> is pressed.

No, works fine. Although its not the best alternative, because my method allows to "specify" the zooming region (due to the mouse position)

None that I know of. Couldn't find any. But if so, shouldn't it affect the zooming in as well (which isn't the case)?

I tried both: enabled it causes the mentioned "error" behavior. Disabled the zoom out stops but its remarkably unresponsive: Once I use the key combination and click the left-mouse-btn it takes seconds before the zoom out happes; the process _feels_ quite long.

Keynote 6. Zooming out in Navigator View pointless because grey surround won't shrink?

Keynote Navigator View allows zooming out.
In Keynote 5 this was useful to make more space for Presenter Notes on screen. But zooming out is pointless in Keynote 6 because there is a grey surround which will not shrink. When the slide itself shrinks, more area of screen is given over to grey surround! This is quite simply bad design, unless I am missing some way to solve it. Any suggestions?

Again, thank you, but again I'm afraid it doesn't do it. I had already discovered the little arrow thing you mention. The problem is that although it works fine twhen you pull it DOWN to INCREASE the grey area, when you pull it UP it won't DECREASE the grey area higher than a limited point. Try it after setting the zoom to, say 50%.The picture shows the highest point the little arrow thing is allowed to go. All that grey area below the picture is wasted.

Select the Zoom Tool in the tool box and see if Scrubby Zoom is unchecked or greyed out in the tool options bar.
(you want Scrubby Zoom checked)

Firefox RC does not allow me to use the zoom in and zoom out function on Apple Touchpad

A couple of weeks ago, I tried out Firefox 4 Beta version, but soon I realized that Firefox 4 Beta does not support certain functions of the multi-touch pad, of the Apple Macbook I bought in 2010. The two finger scroll works. The three finger swipe to go forward or back in the web browser also works. But what does not work, is the two finger zoom in and zoom out function.

In the address bar type without quotation "about:config" then hit enter. Be careful about what you type. I would suggest copy/paste.
Scroll down to

right click and in the small window under value type without quotation "cmd_fullZoomReduce"
Scroll down to
browser.gesture.pinch.in.shift
right click and in the small window under value type without quotation "cmd_fullZoomReset"

On my mac book pro the trackpad does the function 3, (zooming out of all screens) how do I disable that!

I would like to disable it, because the motion it seems to do that is moving diagnol from bottom right to top left. I do this motion alot and it continuously zooms out on all windows and it's incredibly annoying, please help!

I would like to insert a Zoom Out / Zoom In Button above an webpart. So I have to implement the ribbon directly in the space above the webpart, but I don't know how to do it. So I need a JavaScript function to do this.
