T430s compatible with ultrabay battery FRU 42T4679 (ASM 43R8890)

Hi~
I just purchased a T430s. I want a ultrabay battery to extend the outdoor working time and I have a 42T4679 battery at home. So I want to try that one on my new laptop.
I asked a lenovo agent through online chat to check the compatibility of the battery and my laptop. He told me that the battery would work. But when I put this battery in, the system does not recognize it. I go to the Lenovo Solution Centre, it only told me that a communication error occurred.......
So is it there any way to solve this problem?

No. That's a Battery 42. The T430s takes a Battery 43.

Ultrabase (42X4963) not compatible with ultrabay slim (42T2545)

Hi,
I have an ultrabase 42X4963 that is meant to be used with my X200.
From the MIGR-7029, clearly shows that 42T2545 is compatible with the ultrabase.
Problem is that, the Ultrabay slim drive does not fit nicely into the ultrabay. Small portion of it is potruded out.
Also it is not able to detect the ultrabay slim.
Anyone face the same issue?

no they are not compatible with each other. The ultrabase for the X200 is totally different to the one used in the X6x machines, the size are different too. The optical drive connector has changed from the PATA to SATA format.

Is the T440p compatible with the Ultrabay battery?

Question in title. I want to know if the T440p is compatible with the ultrabay battery. I don't have any use for the optical drive and I know the ultrabay HDD caddy is awful, so i figure I may as well make use of this extra space.
If not well that's a shame, kind of useless to have such a thick laptop with such a small battery.

The UltraBay HD caddy works perfectly in mine. Got a 9.5mm 1TB drive in it, and it fits very snugly (I of course added the TP rubber rails to the drive as well), performs like a champ and spins down as configured.
I also got UltraBay caddies in my T400 and W520, never had an inkling of problem with them.

What battery is compatible with the Panasonic PV-GS85 Camcorder?

The battery that it came with is now busted and won't hold a charge for more than a few minutes (It had a good few years in it though, of me dropping it and what not.)
So I'm shopping for a new battery. I found a battery on radioshack's website that says it's compatible with my camcorder, and it replaces the Panasonic CGR-DU06 battery, that I bought it with. But I don't know about it, and I would prefer to be able to just pick a battery up at best buy, or anywhere really, in order to have it by this Saturday.
I found lots of batteries on the best buy website that say they're compatible with different Panasonic camcorders, but they all say "including" so I assume it's not limited to just the camcorders listed in the description, but none of them actually list my particular camcorder. No, neither the battery nor the flash storage (Retina models have flash storage - not hard drives) from a Retina model would be compatible with a 2011 model.

X6 Ultrabase & Ultrabay Slim Drive compatible with X200?

I am looking at ordering a new Lenovo ThinkPad X200.
I currently have an IBM ThinkPad X60 with:
1. X6 UltraBase Docking Station
2. ThinkPad Combo II Ultrabay Slim Drive - Disk drive - CD-RW / DVD-ROM combo - 24x24x24x/8x - IDE - plug-in module
a. This drive's model number is HL-DT-st dvdram gsa-4083n
I know it's a long shot, but I'm wondering if either my existing UltraBase or UltrabaySlim Drive would be compatible with the X200. It would save me a little money and recycle some parts.

11g database compatible with 10g ASM?

I have one server with Oracle 10g database and ASM installed. Now I need to install a new database on 11g version. Know you if my new 11g database can use the 10g ASM? Or I need to create a new ASM in 11g too?

Ultrabay battery option for ThinkPad T400s?

Is there any available Ultrabay battery option that is compatible with the new T400s?
I know we have to get the new vIII of the Ultrabay SATA adapter for replacing the optical drive with a second SATA drive on the T400s, so I was wondering if the T400s requires a new Ultrabay solutions for adding battery through the Ultrabay?

T400 Ultrabay Battery Issue

I just ordered and received a new Lenovo-branded Ultrabay slide-in battery for a T400. It fits perfectly (appears to) but shows an error in the battery display and cannot even read the part number.
What came out was an FRU 42T4679 (10.8V, 2.7AH, 30WH).
What I received was an FRU 51J0508 (10.8V, 2.9AH, 32WH).
Does anyone know if this is likely just a bad battery, or an incompatible battery?

Part # for T400 ultrabay battery, and where to buy?

The Lenovo Web site does not seem to sell an UltraBay battery that's compatible with the T400. Or maybe it's compatible with one of them, and the T400 isn't listed for some reason.
What is the part number for the UltraBay battery that works with the T400? If it's not sold by Lenovo, why not, and where can I get one?
And is it true that the UltraBay batteries drain completely before the main battery is used so they only last a few months? If so, will this problem be fixed?

Yes, the UltraBay battery drains first. It's working as designed and not broken, so there's nothing to fix.

R51e -- Installing UltraBay Battery

OK, my dreary R51e saga continues.
I took out the CD/DVD drive and replaced it with a new IBM battery.
Even after a couple of reboots, both Windows and ThinkVantage show only the main battery.
I have looked and looked, both in various settings onboard the computer and on the Web, trying to find an explanation or a solution.
So, here I am again.
What should I be looking at/for?

There's no need. I've already scheduled a return to Amazon on the basis that the item is not compatible with the R51e, though the listing states repeatedly that it is.
I'm glad to be rid of the thing. I lost a bunch of time on it, but I (re)learned some important lessons.

What type of troubleshooting were we able to do with you? I want to make sure that we can get some sort of resolution for this problem.
It is quite possible the battery door may get your phone in working order again. I'm not sure if the store has it in stock, but it is available in our warehouse for $14.99 which can be ordered via customer service.

IPhone no longer compatible with Sony ICF-C1iP Dock/Speakers

I'm a litte annoyed today. I purchased the Sony ICF-C1iP so I could use it with my first generation iPhone without the static I was getting with the iHome. However, after updating to the newest update yesterday, (August 5), the Sony ICF-C1iP no longer works - well, it still works, but it is now just a clock radio. I can't get music to play through the speakers at all. I called the Apple store and after checking into it, I was told that the problem is with the new update and not the unit, and it is an issue that cannot be helped. Another "however"...the Sony ICF-C1iP is still on display in the Apple store as being compatible with the iPhone. Anyone else encountered this problem and if so, any solutions?

I just bought the Sony ICF-C1iP for my 1st gen iPhone yesterday to use at work. I iPhone is updated with 2.0 and after having read some of the most recent posts on the discussion boards, I think I'll wait on the most recent update. Here's why there's is no Flash available for iDevices or other mobile devices. Adobe was unable to provide a product that was suitable to the needs of battery powered mobile devices used for Internet browsing. Existing Flash technology used too much memory, ate battery life, and was buggy. Simply put Flash did not work well on mobile devices.
Apple's Steve Jobs led the escape from Flash dependency when Apple introduced the iPhone, and later introduced the iPad. There was a hue and cry over the omission. Time proved Jobs was right on target.
So this is why there is no Flash for your iPhone or iPad or iPod nor for most SmartPhones. Flash has been abandoned by many sites in favor of supported technologies such as HTML5 or by providing their own custom app.
