T500 Drivers for Server 2003

Hello,
I have installed Server 2003 on lenovo T500, but i cant find drivers for it.
Does anybody know where i can get drivers for it?

With older drivers there may be certificate issues meaning that you will have to roll back the date / time and or install the driver in compatability mode.  Directx and Video and Audio Service and drivers are DISABLED BY DEFAULT in 2003 server.   I installed 2003 server on my 360 and it worked fine including the drivers. But its  not cookie cutter out of the box.  You have to enable the proper services BEFORE installing the drivers.  The intel Drivers are not the proper drivers for an addin video card AND Chipset Drivers MUST BE INSTALLED first before anything else. The forum is not a step by step support for an end of life operating system on an unsupported platform.  Even microsoft paid support does not accomodate teaching how to install server drivers on non servers.

  • Satellite Pro L300 (PSLB9E) - need wireless drivers for Server 2003

    Hi all,
I have put server 2003 on my new laptop for a university project. Ive got everything to work except for the wireless. Ive tired the latest drivers from the support site for this laptop but they have not worked.
Does anyone know if there are any drivers for my wireless card so that it will work on server 2003? Or how can I find out exactly what wireless card I have in the machine as I have been told it may not be a Intel card it could be a Atheros card?
    Thanks

    Hello Jack
Server 2003 is not supported on Toshiba notebooks and you must try to find it somewhere on the net.
According the notebook specification your Satellite Pro has REALTEK 802.11(B/G) 13CH-RTL8187B WLAN card.

  • Optiplex 360 drivers for Server 2003

I have an Optiplex 360 that is running Windows Server 2003 and the video card does not have any drivers loaded for it. I believe it has the Intel graphics installed, of the 4 I see available on this PC, but I have been unable to find a suitable driver for it. I have tried downloading the drivers from support but none of them work. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  • Network Load balancing for Server 2003 and Server 2012

Our environment currently has 2 web servers running Windows Server 2003 with Network Load Balancing.  We are looking to update the servers to Windows Server 2012.  Is it possible to add Windows Server 2012 into the Windows Server 2003 Network Load
balancing cluster?  This way we could bring up 2 new servers add them into the network load balancing and then take out the 2003 servers without disrupting our production.
Any thoughts or suggestions on how to make this work properly?

    Hi,
You can upgrade an existing Network Load Balancing (NLB) cluster to Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, or Windows Server 2012 by taking the entire cluster offline
and upgrading all the hosts, or you can leave the NLB cluster online and perform a rolling upgrade. A rolling upgrade entails taking individual cluster hosts offline one at a time, upgrading each host, and returning the host to the cluster. You continue upgrading
individual cluster hosts until the entire cluster is upgraded. A rolling upgrade allows the cluster to continue running during the upgrade.
    The related KB:

    Hope this helps.

  • Oracle Download for Server 2003 32 bit on OTN

Looks like this download is a patch, not the binaries for windows 2003 server. Just a heads up.
I tried calling this one in, but Tina at the 800-oracle1 number was about as much help as a sack of dirt and had quite and attitude to boot.

Thanks. I should have dug a bit deeeper.
I read the doc you referred me to and found that it references DB install only... I only need the client and OLE DB.
Is it recommended to install this patch for the client?

  • Builtin 'Administrators' Group for Server 2003 network isn't available for grant

    All,
I'm working on a migration from Win Server 2003 to Win Server 2012. Our domain controllers are still both Windows 2003 machines. For this part of the migration, I'm dealing just with relocating some files from a 2003 file server.
While relocating a network share from a Windows Server '03 file server to a Windows Server 2012 file server, I found I was not able to grant the builtin "DOMAIN\Administrators" security principle access to the share. In fact, it's as if the group
    does not exist.
On Windows Server 2003, on a folder you wish to share: Right-Click > Properties > Security > Add > Advanced
Searching for "administrators" locates the group. The same steps from the Windows Server 2012 server does not.
The 2012 server is on the domain and I'm searching the same domain tree in each case. I have also ensured that I'm searching every possible object type (via the "Object Types") button on the search.
Other security principles are visible. For example, my own login is available, as are other security groups. In both cases, I am logged into the server as the domain administrator.
    Thanks!

...Hm. I can't add the built in Administrators group to another security group on the Windows Server 2003 domain controller.
Edit: What I mean to say is, I run into the same problem. Attempting to add the builtin Administrators group to an already existing security group on the 2003 server leads to an error -- there is no Administrators group, according to the DC.

  • T500 drivers for WinXP64 ?

    hi everyone
now i'm proud of my new "business" notebook and at the same time i'm absolutely gutted about the driver support!
a business notebook should work in an business environment, so why aren't there any drivers for win xp professional 64bit? do you really think, anyone in a company uses vista for it's business notebook? or has to have the newest os (win 7) from microsoft in an running environment accepting the incalculable risk of dysfunction of an untested system? (ignoring the immense costs of changing a whole it infrastructure? or managing different architectures (xp and win7 and ...) ?) so, in my humble opinion, in business win xp64! (cause it's a 64bit cpu in this laptop!! or not?) and win 200X server are still state of the art! or am i wrong?
after getting the network card working (with the original intel lan drivers! the lenovo stuff didn't work!) i hoped, all unsolved driver problems may be fixed with the newest service packs. nope. bad luck. so i tried the "Think Vantage" to make a system update and hopefully get the correct drivers. nope. this software is buggy and faulty method calls stops this software with an absolute specific error message: "There was a error while collecting user data." ah, ok, i see! thank you for this information. (write me, if you're interested in the log files)
conclusion: i like thinkpads and i always used them. but if i can't do so anymore cause lenovo may think that a 64bit machine should not host a 64bit os and win xp at all doesn't use anyone anymore - i'm sorry! nice marketing strategy of "how to destroy an outstanding reputation in 24 days" (maybe for dummies, cause it'll work that way by sure!!!)
all your nice little tools and gadgets are cute, but first of all, i need a running system - means drivers!
maybe anyone has some ideas where to get some manufacturer drivers (xp, 64bit)  for the "audio device on high definition audio bus", some "base system device"s, the network controller (wlan), the "pci simple communications controller" "sm bus controller" and 2 "unknown device"s ...
for the lan device - intel has some 64bit xp drivers on its homepage (the prowinx64.exe works, ask me if you need a link).
thanks a lot for your help! + greetings

It is rather unfortunate, but Windows XP x64 is not supported by Lenovo.
Most of the drivers are available but not on Lenovo's Support website. You can find the Intel chipset, graphics, wlan, and ethernet driver at intel.com. I hope this brings you to a somewhat usable system.

    ps: sound not working

    Hi
As mentioned above you will not find Toshiba drivers designed especially for the Windows 2003 R2 Server.
But dont worry and dont give up.
The simply Windows XP drivers should be compatible and you should be able to install the Xp drivers on the Win2003 Server OS.
    good luck

  • Server 2012 replacement for Server 2003 catalogs and ixsso.dll

Previously, we used the Indexing Service on Windows Service 2003 to set up catalogs and then used ixsso.dll to write web apps that could query the catalogs. With Windows Server 2012 things apparently have changed. How would I accomplish something similar
with Windows Server 2012? I've been searching but I guess I don't know what I'm looking for. Can someone point me in the right direction? What buzzwords am I looking for with Server 2012?
    Thanks
    Terry

    Hi,
In Windows 2012 the indexing service has gone. To work around for this we may try putting the windows indexing service command line tool and dll’s in the System32 folder.
