T540p/3K Win7 x64 - Intel Gfx driver cannot be installed.

Hi,
Here is the link to the latest driver:

It cannot be installed, error is "Wrong version of windows". I think this is a problem with the *.inf file.
Other thing - I tried to install drivers from the Intel directly, but brightess is stopped working after it. I had to roll back to the old drivers supplied with the laptop.

New Intel video driver won't install

The new intel video driver won't install on my T410. Anyone else having the same problem? All I get is a Turbo Boost installation box. The intel video driver version doesn't update. I've tried manually installing via "update driver", but windows says that I already have the newest driver (even when i only have 8.15.10.2202).

that shows what you have to be the latest.
After looking at it again it is a typo. It shows .2202 until you bring it up, then it shows .2253. I will let the admins know, ty for pointing it out.

I lost my drivers to my HP deskjet f2179 Printer and when i try to download them from the HP site the process goes
through to about step 5. It then stops and the following message pops up
" The driver cannot be installed because it is either not digitally signed or not signed in the appropriate manner." Is there a way to get around this problem , i do like this printer and would like to keep it if i can. Thank you

P1102W doesn't broadcast SSID & Driver cannot be installed on Mac OS 10.7.5

Hi,
I bought a new wifi extender and managed to mess about the settings. I have no idea how this happened.
But the current situation is that P1102W doesn't talk to me because it doesn't broadcast its SSID so I cannot login through its Embedded Web Server. I cannot connect it through USB to my MacBook Pro either. I suspect it is because I somehow messed up my driver setting. But I cannot re-install my driver somehow.
the machine is on Mac OS 10.7.5. The printer P1102w is already in its printer list (on wifi but is not connected). I tried to reinstall driver in order to connect through USB. But the installation always failed at the last step (mac popped up message suggesting me to talk to software supplier). I have done "Repair Disk Permissions" a few times. Still the driver doesn't install. The driver I talk about is "LJP1100_P1560_P1600_Full_Solution.dmg"
My HP P1102w has been reset to factory default by powering up while pressing the cancel (X) and wifi buttons a few times. Although its blue wifi light is blinking, it doesn't broadcast its SSID, so I cannot connect to its web based set up page.
I hope someone out there can help me. If I failed to provide any necessary information for your diagnosis, please let me know. Thank you for your help.

I see by your post that you have lost the wireless connection with the printer, since setting up a extender. I can help you with this.
You will have to network the printer to the main network. Make sure there isn't any spaces or special characters in the network name.
Make sure Safari is set as the default browser. (sometimes the EWS won't open if it isn't set as the default)
Open Safari, across the top select the Safari menu, select Preferences, General, set as default.
If you can still print by a USB connection, skip to running the HTML Config section.
I would run the uninstaller, there might be bits and pieces of the old software still installed.
Uninstalling the Printer Software.
Reset the Printing System:
Note: This will remove all printers in the print and Fax/Scan, any printer removed can be re-added later by clicking the plus (+) symbol.
Click the Apple icon ( ), and then click System Preferences.
Click Printers & Scanners.
Right-click (or Ctrl +click) in the left white side panel, then click Reset printing system.
Click OK to confirm the reset.
Type the correct Name and Password.
Click OK to reset the printing system.
Connect the printer directly to the Mac.
Run the downloaded drivers again. HP LaserJet Full Feature Software and Driver.
If you have any issues with the HTML config opening then do the following steps:
Close any applications.
On the Apple menu bar, click Go, computer, MAC harddrive, Library, Printers, HP, LaserJet, click on folder for your printer, click on EWS browser or HTML config, click the Networking tab, click wireless on the left and fill out your information. (make sure infrastructure is selected) Apply settings.
Then delete the USB driver and add the network printer.
Please provide in detail the results if you are still having issues.

Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E330 Missing x64 intel display driver in update retriever

Hi guys,
When searching for driver for model 3354 in update retriver no x64 result for Intel graphics card shows up.(Only for x86 not x64)
The driver is available on the download section: http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc/pccbbs/mobiles/h1d211ww.exe
Is this an error on my end or is it not made available yet?

I will correct that. We had approved our own "Costum update" with the same update id. After removing that the update appeared as exspected.

T400 WinXP SP3 - Intel GM45 Driver won't install (Doesn't meet requirements error)

I have a ThinkPad T400 running WinXP SP 3 with a P8400 CPU and 2 GB of RAM. I've re-installed an OS on the laptop 5 or 6 times now without any problems, switching between Windows and Ubunutu. I went to do a clean Windows XP install the other day though, and everything went fine until I went to install the video driver. When I tried to run the VGA, Intel 4500MHD (Intel GM45 Express Chip), driver setup I receive the following error message:
"The computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software."
I googled around and immediately saw others with the exact same problem except I haven't been able to find a resolution. There is another support thread similar here: http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/T400-T500-and-newer-T-series/Workaround-Here-New-GM45-Integrated-Graphic... but this isn't working for me. Anyone have any ideas how I can get my VGA Driver up and running again?
I also have tried seeing if Lenovo keeps a roll-back archive of older drivers to see if they would have an older version of my driver (one that I know works) but had no luck. I tried calling support and they said only that whatever driver came up when I found my computer was the one they had. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks

The installer (.exe file) extracts the files before giving me the error message. So when the "Add New Hardware Wizard" pops up on a restart, I try manually pointing it to the driver in the intel ../DRIVERS/WIN/DISPLAY2/Graphics sub-directory. This didn't work the first few times I tried it. Then on the 4th or 5th time, it saw the driver and installed it. However, upon a restart, it popped up the "Add New Hardware Wizard" again and the VGA Controller was again listed under Unknown Devices in the Device Manager. Anyways, thought some more info might be helpful. Thanks again in advance for any help

T420 GT1/GT2 Intel Video Driver Won't Install - Win 7

Hello,
Last night I tried updating my video drivers to the latest Intel HD Graphics Driver (version 8.15.10.2769) and NVIDIA Optimus Display Driver (version 8.17.12.7658), both from Lenovo's website. Neither seemed to work. After trying to install the Intel driver I would get an error message saying my system does not meet the minimum requirements...I'm not sure how this can be the case when I downloaded the driver from Lenovo's site for my model (T420, model 4177-CTO).
Also, updating the NVIDIA driver seemed to work (the intsall finished and computer restarted), however, after rebooting no video driver showed up in device manager for the discrete card. I tried downloading the latest driver from NVIDIA's website and got an error saying it couldn't detect the hardware.
Another thing I noticed after attempting these updates was within device manager, the "2nd generation Intel(R) Core(TM) processor family PCI Express Controller - 0101" had a yellow caution/explamation point next to it, but device manager said the driver was up to date.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Equium A100-147 LAN (ethernet) driver cannot be installed

Hi,
I have the same problem like in topic http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=17316.
I downloaded and installed all of drivers what I needed, on my Equium A100-147, but Lan (ethernet) driver doesn't work.
I have windows XP, home edition, SP2.
I tried both type of drivers in Toshiba Download (and few others as well), which should work... but sadly, it's not working.
I would be glad, if someone could help me. Thanks anyway.

T440p hotkey integration driver fail - win7 x64

Brand new T440p laptop out of the box.
Imaged with preconfigured company Windows 7 x64 image I have used hundreds of times before via MDT.
WDS packaged T440p drivers (downloaded from Lenovo website) are injected as part of the MDT installation process.
All windows updates applied (except for the Lenovo PM Device Driver otherwise the thing no longer reboots or shuts down properly anymore)
BIOS flashed to latest T440p revision.
Run Lenovo System Update to install hotkey drivers and receive the following:
As you can see Win7 x64... driver says no.
Restarted and tried again... error.
Tried downloading the driver manually from http://support.lenovo.com/ca/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/thinkpad-t-series-laptops/thinkpad-t44...
Same error.
Searched for and downloaded version 5.40
Same error.
I ran Lenovo System Update 2 days ago on another T440p laptop, may have been a slightly different internal spec... not sure but I'm farily sure the driver was named differently in System Update. The driver Installed on that machine fine and functions as intended.
The driver could very well could have been updated since then I guess.
I do also know this is a newer batch of T440p's as the box configuration that it ships in has changed and looks completely different.
What gives?

Just for giggles I decided to re-image the machine and see if it made a difference.
This time I ran System Update BEFORE any windows update.
Hotkey driver installed just fine.
Maybe there's some windows update incompatibility.
I'm not about to go testing all this stuff so if anyone from Lenovo actually reads these posts, it might be worth investigating...

Learn How to Post and More  When I looked at the specifications for your notebook, I noted it came with FreeDOS 2.0.HP 15-r203TX Notebook PC Product Specifications  I see you have formatted the drive and installed Windows 8.1. You have installed drivers but the Intel chipset drive produced the error saying "saying "please plug the device : device not found", and no driver was located for the network adapter. Where did you acquire your drivers from? As you are unable to access the network from your notebook I suggest you try to download and save the driver files from the official HP page,to USB stick or CD/DVD to be able to install them. As per the query we understood that you facing issue with network driver for both Wifi & Lan on your ThinkPad T540p.
Below is the link for both the driver, uninstall the current installed drivers first and then install the latest downloaded driver.
Intel LAN adapter, Intel Wifi adapter
If the system is taken any of the drivers and if you find that the internet connection is working then you can use Think vantage system update tool to update all the required drivers and application for your system.
If possible can you send the screenshot of device manager and along with system MTM (Machine Type Model)?

T540p battery drain in S4 state after Bios and Intel Wifi driver update

on my T540p, I configured the rapid start technology according to

Since I have performed a BIOS update to 2.14 and an update of the Intel Wifi driver to 17.0.5, I experience the problem of battery drain when the computer is in S4 sleep state, at a rate of approximately 0.125% per hour (on the 56Wh battery).
This was not the case before these updates. There was no noticable power drain in S4 sleep state, even not over multiple days.
I'm using Win7, I set all the WoL capabilities both in BIOS and in the Intel driver to disabled, according to

External device USB charge settings are also fully disabled in BIOS and Power Manager. The problem does not occur when the system is fully shut down, but in S4 Sleep state, which should be a zero-power state too, as it was before the updates. In the details of the BIOS update it is stated " Fixed an issue where the computer might fail to enter sleep state". Could the power drain be a side effect of this fix? Or is it an issue with the (new) Wifi driver, as it was the case for the Y410P?
How could this battery drain be avoided? Has anybody experienced the same issue?

you could check out devices that might resume laptop from the sleep modes and disable them. Type in the following command in the cmd line window:
powercfg -devicequery wake_armed
Also the following command will show you report about power management. Open cmd window with administrative rights and type in:
powercfg -energy.

T400 with F3507G Win7 Driver problem cannot complete install

I am trying to install driver of F3507G on T400 Windows 7 but cannot complete the installation the system still show in the device manager that mini card GPS port and mobile broad band GPS port on com 12 are the problem.
