T60p after pressing Fn + blue key icon will not fade out
The icon at the borrom center of the screen will not go away. As soon as I select Fn +brightness or Fn + sound, etc the little icon at the bottom of the screen stays forever. Re-booting and the latest updates don't help and I can't find a setting for this in the Lenovo toolbox.

My "Maps" will not work out routes after update
After updating the OS the "Maps" will not work out routes. I keep receiving "directions ont available" even for a 1km straight road...Is there an application or update to resolve this?
WHat is not working? Which map app are you using? I use the built in app without any problem on my trips from Ohio to South Carolina. Wherever I stop, I can see my current location. I don't use it for navigation all the time but one time I was a passenger in the car and followed our trip on my phone.

What is the blue key icon beside my updated projects?
I've been updating some projects to the newest version of FCPX. I noticed that sometimes there is a small blue key icon beside the project's thumbnail (under the numbers for the length of time of the project). What does that indicate? Is it only there for updated projects?
It usually indicates it's keyworded. That doesn't normally happen, but it can.

I have had to uninstall an old version of itunes and reinstall 10.5.3.3. Now there is a lag of 2 hours after pressing the desk top icon before i Tunes appears. Is the software searching and accessing the old iTunes library? Has anyone got a cure?

Blue screen, computer will not boot up
My computer, when powered up gets stuck on a blue screen and will not boot up. I have restarted & held down the shift button for safe mode & it goes to a white screen with a grey apple icon but will not move past this screen. How do I get the computer to boot up?
Sounds like your system is hosed. Try [repairing the hard drive with Disk Utility|http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1417]. Of course, from the sounds of it, even if you get the drive repaired, it may not fix the problems with your system.
Do you have backups? If not, your only priority at the moment should be to figure out how to back up your data, or what data may still be intact if your drive is badly damaged. If you have another Mac, the easiest way to do this will be to boot the machine into [FireWire target mode|http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1661] and copy whatever data you can. -

Some people have found that an app (usually iBooks for some reason) hasn't appeared on a homescreen until after the iPad has been reset and has restarted : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
Also depending on what the app is have you got an age rating set in Settings > General > Restrictions that is hiding it ? -
No sound unless headphones attached and headphones icon will not go away.
I have a really weird problem with my Rezound. After a month of stellar performance, all of a sudden the headphone notification icon will not turn off but the headphones are not attached. As a result, the phone appears to think that the headphones are still plugged in (when they are not) so I get no sound unless I use speakerphone.
The weirdest part of this issue is that when I do plug headphones into the phone, it tries to call someone. Anyone know how to fix this?Hello RandywinWV!
We definitely don't want your phone to think it has a ghost headset plugged in! I will be more than happy to provide some suggestions!
Try leaving your headset plugged in and pull the battery out while the headset is in and the phone is off. Remove the headset and put everything back together.
Check if there's anything in the headset jack, such as debris. You can use canned air to clean the ports of your device, similar to a computer. Please just be careful.

Try a Reboot press & hold menu button & power button hold both down until you see Apple Logo you will not lose any data. But you may need to do this more than once. I never use PCs for software upgrades or downloads I always use wifi had no problems with iOS 8.1 B sydd

I get the itunes has encounterd a problem and needs to close, sorry for the inconvenience error, no specific error number. I do not have QT installed,
not having QT installed is what will be causing your itunes error message at the moment. let's try a careful standalone QT 7.1 install.
download and save a copy of the QT 7.1 standalone installer to your hard drive. (we'll run the install from there rather than online.) switch off antivirus and antispyware applications prior to the install.

if that install goes through okay, does your itunes launch properly again?
(if you get an error message on the QT standalone reinstall, let us know what it says. include error message numbers if you're getting any.)

I have replied to you three times now without reply. I DID NOT authorise a payment of £9.99 for NowTV. What is the solution to getting my money refunded. I think you assume I will go away after being Ignored. No I will not go away. I find now that you have DISABLED MY APPLE ID. Is this a punishment you use to anyone who takes up a stand against charges being made unauthorised on their account?. Please tell me why you have disabled my account. When will my account be restored? If not when will you refund ALL my purchases made to APPLE/ITUNES? I can then move on to another brand and hopefully better customer service. After reading articles regarding APPLE ID DISABLED it appears common practice from your company to DISABLE anyone's account if they question unknown charges. i have a macbook pro (almost positive that its a 2010 version) and i got mountain lion. The BIGGEST AND MAIN REASON i bought mountain lion was so that i can do airplay, allowing me to mirror image what is on my mac to my Apple TV. my whole computer is updated as far as the displays and newer features but the small airplay icon will not show up on the top of my screen. therefore, not allowing me to mirror image what is on my mac to my tv... it is connected to the same wifi as my apple tv. idk what to do. could it be because my macbook pro is a 2010? desprately looking for help...please help me with this issue

After upgrading to ios6 my iphone will not open .xls files in emails with the default viewer. Is there a fix for this? The same emailed .xls files still open on my ipad using ios5 while viewing email like they did on my iphone prior to upgrading. I have no special software like numbers or anything else installed on either device. Just using the default viewer provided by apple for viewing email.
The attachment is an .xls excel 97-2003 spreadsheet. I viewed the file in the email and did not edit it with any software. I can forward the file to anyone that is may want to check it out to see if they can help me. I was wondering if there was some way of forcing another ios6 install on my phone and maybe that would solve it.
Is there anyone out there that is viewing .xls files in email using ios6 w/o any other software installed like numbers or any other add ons? I am not upgrading my ipad from ios5 to ios6 so I can still continue to view the emails on my ipad. Is there an email viewer .xls plug-in that will be availablle in the next ios6 update?
