T60p AHCI mode is not working

hi all:
my t60p with xp getting slower and slower. so i decided to reinstall os and other software. the problem is: the system would not be able to recognize anything from that "Intel Matrix Storage Manager Driver", even with this newest chipset software oss924ww.exe installed. well, actually, the oss924ww.exe contains suh driver and installed for me. but no matter what i did, i just can't set bios back to "AHCI" mode. basically i stuck with the mode of "compatibility".
supposedly the IDE driver for my t60p 2613-cto is "Intel(R) 82801GBM SATA AHCI Controller" and use "Intel(R) ICH7M/MDH SATA AHCI Controller".
i did this once two years ago and it worked fine once i installed "Intel Matrix Storage Manager Driver" and i had no problems to rest bios back to AHCI mode. but not this time.
anyway i can resolve this problem?

The chipset driver does not contain AHCI support.
The Intel Matrix Storage Manager must be installed as described below:
Download Intel Matrix Storage Manager Driver from the Web site and extract the driver to C:\DRIVERS\WIN\IMSM.
Go to C:\DRIVERS\WIN\IMSM\PREPARE, and double-click install.cmd.
Power off and on the computer.
Press the F1 key to enter the BIOS Setup Utility when the ThinkPad logo is seen on the screen. The BIOS Setup Utility menu will be displayed. If a password prompt appears, type the correct password.
Select Config.
Select Serial ATA (SATA).
Select AHCI.
Press the F10 key to save the new setup, and then select Yes. The computer will reboot and Windows XP will start.
The "Welcome to the Found New Hardware Wizard" appears. Click No, not this time, and then click Next.
Select Install from a list or specific location (Advanced), and then click Next.
Select Search for the best driver in these locations. Then select Include this location in the search:, specify the path, C:\DRIVERS\WIN\IMSM, and click Next. The "Completing the Found New Hardware Wizard" appears.
Click Finish.
When the "System Settings Change" window appears, click Yes. The computer restarts.

    I have an older mac and it worked perfectly until about an hour ago when I shut it down because we needed the room dark for a presentation and the screen saver was putting out light.
    Now it won't turn back on. It plays the start up music but the screen stays blank.
    The CMD+OPT+R for recovery mode doesn't do anything, the keyboard is wireless so the command doesn't get to the computer and that's the only keyboard I have since that's the one it came with.
    I'm looking at making a USB recovery disk but it says that I should click on "Options" in the Disk Utility but there is no options button or menu to click.
    From here: OS X: About Recovery Disk Assistant in step 3 I get stuck.
    Also it says that if I make a drive on this computer which has an older OS it might not work on the broken machine with Mavericks.
    This machine literally worked and I turned it off and now it does not work and there seems to be nothing I can do... ***...

    I don't believe there is anything we can do on a forum to help then, you need to take it into a AASP and have it professionaly diagnosed. If you don't know how to locate an AASP in your area you can begin by using Contact Apple for support and service

    and it's still not working, except for modkey. when i was using wmii instead of wmii-hg, this file worked fine... sigh

    Could you elaborate?
    F is the default shorcut for »Change Screen Mode« for me, so I’m not sure what you want with the qualifier keys.
    Have you changed your Edit > Keyboard Shortcut?

    the special funktion key mode ist not working, although I tried everything in Bios and softare " Toshiba Hardware setup utility".
    I still need to press "FN + " to use the special function keys, while enabled bios mode!
    The special function mode was never working, I have no more ideas. You...?

    As far as I know its no matter what system you are using. The special function key mode should work with Win 7 and Win 8.

    And you installed an clean Win 7 on this Satellite C850D-115?
    Please ensure that all available drivers for C850D PSC9UE are installed. This includes the VAP (value added package), Hardware Setup, and others
    There is also new BIOS update v6.50-WIN
    Be sure your BIOS is up to date!

  • M57 AHCI mode - does not boot, reset flash not working.

    I have changed in BIOS the AHCI mode to native SATA and RAID. The security chip was active before that.
    Now, the PC won't start - it stops at the big logo with ThinkCenter (and intel logo on top right).
    Pressing ENTER or F1 does not get me back to the BIOS (to change the settings back).
    I tried to clear CMOS and still it acts the same.
    What do I need to do to get it working again?

    I fix it.
    To really clear the CMOS, I needed to power up the PC with the jumper on 2-3 position. It beeped one LONG and two SHORT and then I replaced the jumper on the previous position (1-2).

    Hi All,
    I checked with the BO authorization team who grant access to different user groups to access BO reports.  It means that I was not having the access rights to view my report in "Rich Internet Application" mode. Once the access permissions were granted to my user group. I see the option as highlighted in red below. To view the report in reading mode in BO 4.0 BI Launchpad, you should set the preferences as below:

    I have tried to upload the software many times with no help. I also have Elements 11 on the same computer and it works very well. I do not understand why 12 will not work. Since I first installed 12 I have been using it in the Expert mode which seems to work. I have triled all of the suggestions found with no help.

    Right click on the PSE icon.
    Select the option Run as admin.
    open the editor .
    Check is it working fine now.
    Also, try to reset the preferences of editor, refer the below link to do so.

    Since yesterday we test the Feature "Enterprise Mode" for "Internet Explorer 11". However, we have many problems
    with this Feature. We have configured it as described by officially instruction by MS, but it does not work
    properly. Here is what we have done exactly to test this Feature:
    In Registry Key " HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ Policies \ Microsoft \ Internet Explorer \ Main \ Enterprise Mode " we have created the Entry " Site List " and create the string " Enable" . In the
    String "Enable" we have added no value . 
    In Case of String "Site List" , we have specified the path to the XML file , as value of this String.
    The XML file was created with the Site List Manager from Microsoft
    And now, we regocnized following Problems:
    The "Enterprise Mode" ist only "active", if the User(!) check "Enterprise Mode" under "Tools"...!
    The site list is seemingly ignored, although in the Registry "currentversion" is pulled correctly, everytime we change
    the XML File. So we think "SiteList" is configured well.
    On one of our test computer freezes Internet Explorer 11 , if you try to hook the corporate mode
    In Summary, it seems to be configured properly but it even do not work or not work correctly.
    Our goal would be:
    Enterprise Mode + access to the Site List by IE11 should be "on" by Default!
    Entrys of sitelist.XML should be filtered and shown in "Enterprise Mode" or/and the right "DocMode", as configured.
    The user should have no chance  to check on or off the"enterprise mode"
    We use "Windows 7" on all our Clients, as test Clients are also running the same operating System...

    According to your description, seems the end-users can manually turn on\off the enterprise mode, If you don''t want this, you can disable the option.
    Computer(User) Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Internet Explorer\Let users turn on and use Enterprise Mode from the Tools menu option
    Disable this option, user will not have "Enterprise Mode" under "Tools", after that, please run gpupdate /force to update the policy, and get "Use the Enterprise Mode IE website list" applied again in the target system.
    After that, the enterprise mode website list get applied again, and user don't have an option to disable it.

    Is de procedure for the Muvo TX the same as the Muvo 2?

  • Clamshell mode does not work with Mountain Lion.

    Installed Mountain Lion on 11" MacBook Air last Friday night.  Now system does not appear to work in Clamshell mode, as it won't wake or connect to external monitor.

    Apple Tech Support was very helpful.  The MBA works in clamshell mode next to my monitor now -- but does not work in the Henge Dock.  Henge Dock has been contacted.
