My Thinkpad T60p can't go to desktop after the Windows logo, it has fingerprint, but never appears, only the cursor stays here and can move, the back ground is not black, nothing happens pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del or Win button.
Can go to safe mode but the same situation, the cursor is here, black background, nothing happens pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del or Win button.
After a long time of searching I guess the very most possible reason is system updating many patches guided by a software that lead me did that.

If I was given this laptop to diagnose the first thing I would do is swap in another harddrive and confirm all the hardware works. If you don't have another drive to boot from you can use a Linux live-cd, it'll pretty much tell you the same thing and if the laptop works, your solution would be to either fix your operating system or reformat and start over with a new installation.

The Cursor Jumps Here and There While Typing
When I type something on text-processing applications (Text Editor, Sticky, Word 2004 for Mac, even compose email field on web-based emails), my cursor keeps moving randomly to the previous part of the body text. I keep on typing until I realize it messes up what I've been typing. I can't keep typing and checking the result all the time.
It doesn't happen all the time, but it happens often enough. It's kinda very frustrating.

If the Reset didn't work, you'll need to do a Restore.
From iTunes, select the iPad and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finished, you will be asked if you wish the contents of iTunes to be copied to the iPad. -
I recently sycned all my Itunes music from my Iphone to my Mac. I had 150-200 songs. After the sync I went and checked my phone, I now only have 53 songs. The lost one's aren't even showing up in my purchased. It's like I never bought them! Please help!!

Is there a way to stop a query just after the cursor/plan is produced by CBO?

on the lies of "Explain plan" (and of "set autotrace on" too) I'd like to try to stop a query/DML before actually it starts, just after the plan was produced and sql_id assigned.
Is there any CLEAN way (other than trying CTRL-C) to do that?

you're planning on using locks to stop a query and you think in order to do so you need exclusive locks on every table accessed in the query? And you are prepared to do that on a production system?
And all of this is needed to troubleshoot a query that was running for 10 days -- i.e. a query that was available for all kinds of diagnostics during 10 days?
Sorry, I think it wasn't a good idea for you to read that Osborne's blog post -- you should've started with more basic things. Way more basic.

I understood your problem to be that Firefox never finished loading the page, i.e., some part of the page was loading too slowly.
By reloading, I meant Ctrl+r (or the reload button), to manually reload the page. You can disregard any cached files and reload all content fresh from the server by adding the Shift key, i.e., Ctrl+Shift+r (helpful when specific sites do not load correctly).
If the page is automatically reloading itself over and over, that sounds like a completely different problem. -

Service entry sheet was reversed after the invoice as posted and rebooked with final entry marked. The rebook transaction created a different $ amount than the original SES. The difference between the 2 amounts is causing a GRIR out of balance on the PO. MR11 does not indicate a GRIR out of balance.
why did SES rebook a different value?
How can we clean up the GRIR out of balance?
Please help...

This has been going on now since the update began.
The phone does this weather i slide the volume button to silent then back, I use the volume buttons and get that picture you see above.I restart volume off then back on. I adjust settings turning everything off include adjust volume with buttons, then back on.I check the do not disturb under settings.
I'm not an idiot, I have messed with everything, restarted, tried it on and off the charger.
Sometimes it just has no sound, like the phone doesn't realize there even is a volume as you can see in the above pic, there is no gage that even lets you mess with the volume because it's not muted, it's just not there. Then randomly at some point it comes back.
This all started after the ios 6 update, and I was hoping it would get fixed. I miss the ios5 and have been considering moving over to android with the new Samsung galaxy 3....because right now apple is not beig very technical friendly at all. -
Living in Japan and I'm an American who just signed up with Soft Bank the phone service here and spent a TON of money on an iPhone. I can't figure out how to connect my bank account at home to my app account so I can Skype my family. Please help!!!! I don't have a credit card nor do they gove debit cards to foreigners here, or at least it's really hard so I'm using my bank at home and still have a debit there. My phone number is 8 numbers plus the country code which is strange! Another thing is I was given a phone email that I was told to use for texting but I'm not sure how that works!! I have an iphone 4s and upgrade to ios6. It wont connect now after the upgrade to itunes and the itunes doesnt regonize the device. Im so freaking sad. Please somebody give me a fix. Why did I have to upgrade to ios6? Please somebody let me see the light.

My exchange was originally to be FTTC enabled March 2012 then June 2012 then September 2012 then December 2012 and now .... wait for it March 2013. The dates are starting appear somewhat arbitrary.
A couple of weeks ago the FTTC cabinet was installed and populated, however just this week the FTTC enable date was pushed back from December 2012 to March 2013. Does it really take another six months after the caninet is installed and populated to enable to sevice?
I have said with BT and not moved to the likes of Sky or Talk Talk (which would be cheaper and on the face of it offer increased speed) because my exchange was soon to be FTTC enabled.the mods only have the same information any one else has

MacBook died. Went to plug it up and power it back on, and it made an odd beeping sound. It failed to power up, and the light stays constant and doesn't blink. i unplugged it to wait for the light to turn off, which it did after a few minutes, but when I plug it back up to try again, the light comes on and stays on, but it won't power back up. I've also tried holding down the power button for up to 30 seconds and it doesn't do anything. Any tips or hopefully answers to this issue?
Hi. You might have a memory problem. With one or more of your ram being bad. If this is so you can try removing the ram one at a time and try to restart . You can also switch ram slots to make sure ifs not the ram slot. Before you do this try a pram reset. Command/Option/P/R holding down these keys while starting up for three chimes.
