T683 message no. 00058

Hi SD Guru,
At the time of sales order creation geting folloing error message.
Entry ZV1000 does not exist in T683 (check entry) Message no. 00058
Diagnosis: Input values must be defined in Table T683. The value or values ' ZV1000' are not specified in this table.
I had checked into table T683 having entry of 511-B-V1-ZV1000-Order output.

As per your thread I came to know that , issue is related to the output procedure so ,
Please check the output procedure ZV1000 in the IMG,
If not defined please define the output procedure then assign that procedure to the sales document type.
IMG path is SPRO>IMG>Sales and Distribution>Basic Functions>Output control-->Output determination >Output Determination Using the Condition Technique>Maintain Output Determination for Sales Documents,

Import error IMP-00058

Hi,
I am importing a dump file into oracle 9.2.0.4 using import utility. I fired this import utility in nohup mode. It imported 5 tables and then took about 6-8 hours to import the biggest table and failed with the following error messages:
IMP-00058: ORACLE error 1013 encountered
ORA-01013: user requested cancel of current operation
IMP-00018: partial import of previous table completed: 336426 rows imported
It actually continued to import other tables and finished with warnings.
Can you please help me out with this issue? I cannot see any other error message. I checked the metalink and could not find any solution. All messages points to modifying sqlnet.ora file, but I am not using it anyway!!.

Bug 430972 is fixed in SQL*Net version 2.3.4. Please contact Oracle Support
Services to see if there is a patch available for your platform.
To workaround this problem turn off Dead Connection Detection (DCD) by
removing the SQL*Net parameter sqlnet.expire_time from your "sqlnet.ora" file.
Solution Explanation:

Either applying the patch or disabling DCD will allow the export to run
successfully.

Error when creating purchasing group.

Hi,
i am facing two issue when creating purchasing group. i never had such a situation before.
i have created two p.groups successfully and moved to quality.later i figured one of them is missing USER ID now when i try to enter user ID in user column getting below mention error.
Entry XXXX Does not exist in USR02-check your entry.message no 00058.i have checked in USR02 None of ID's exist i used in newly created groups.but ID i used in other groups has no issue even doesn't exist in USR02,but it shows value US in OB(Object type filed).
both ID's are not being created in Development in other words SAP ID's with SU01 but we never had such issue before while changing or creating now purchasing group.
Another thing i have noticed that OB(Object type field is missing in Dev.) i can see that field in Quality even in sand box but not visible in Dev.that when i use OME4.but when i use SM30-V_024 i can see the OB field.Somehow OB field is hidden when going through SPRO or ME04.
This is about Sap ver.4.7

Before creating new purchasing groups- 1st check your user ID is authorized to purchasing groups create in t.code: OME4.
In development system you can creates new purchasing groups with USER ID and telephone numbers, upon saving system will create a transport request. Later you can transfer related transport request to quality system for your testing.
For example: You can creates new purchasing groups with USER ID and telephone numbers
Purchasing groups-------------USER ID ---------------Telephone numbers
Z01-----------------------------------USR01------------------232569875
Z02-----------------------------------USR02------------------232589876

Importing data from a data-backup file

my application runs external process that imports (should import) data from a backup file created using the exp command. Export file is created by gDBUser from global database (GDB) and should be imported by lDBUser to local database (LDB).

Everything works fine as long as the user running my application is member of the DBA system (Windows) group. Unfortunately, in most cases the user does not belong to that group and import fails with the following error message:
IMP-00058: ORACLE error 1031 encountered
ORA-01031: insufficient privilegesUsername:
IMP-00000: Import terminated unsuccessfully
Users should not be members of the DBA group in order not to be able to modify the data otherways then by using the app. They don't even know the dbUserName nor dbUserPass.
Is there a way to be able to perform such import without running it as member of DBA group?
I'll appreciate your help.

Hi Mark,
No, it isn't necessary to connect as sysdba.
In the meantime I found the solution.
My dbUser had no CREATE TABLE privilege. As soon as I granted it and removed "AS SYSDBA" from the userid parameter everything started to work fine.

CLOB data import problem from 9.2 to 10.2

I am exporting data from 9.2 to 10.2 with exp/imp utility.
I have one table with datatypes NUMBER,VARCHAR2,CLOB,DATE,CHAR. CLOB is having xml data. while importing into 10.2, import failed with the messages
IMP-00058: ORACLE error 1461 encountered
ORA-01461: can bind a LONG value only for insert into a LONG column
IMP-00028: partial import of previous table rolled back
Pls suggest what is the problem and how to overcome.

The error message is more telling.
Did you precreated the table on 10g as CLOB while import LONG into it?
You can either change LONG to CLOB on 9i first then exp/imp or change 10g table to LONG first and covert to CLOB later.
ORA-01461: can bind a LONG value only for insert into a LONG column
Cause: An attempt was made to insert a value from a LONG datatype into another datatype. This is not allowed.
Action: Do not try to insert LONG datatypes into other types of columns.

FI: Scenario of general accounting is missing

Hello together,
I found out that I have to activate additionely the scenario FIN_CONS for a company code which is activ for 3 months.
In Customizing I open the F4-Popup, see the entry FIN_CONS - without description, select it, press Enter and an error occurs:
Message No. 00058
Entry FIN_CONS doesn't exist in FAGL_SCENARIO
In SE11 this entry really doesn't exist.
But how can this happen? What went wrong?
It's an SAP Standard Scenario.
Can somebody tell me what to do? (otherwise I have to open a SAP Call)

I had a similar problem once, but with using different functionality.
In the end I found out that the email body which is sent as html could only be created if the user who was used for sending the mail (in my case WF-BATCH) had a local printer maintained in his users settings (su01)

9i import problem

We use oracle 9i on windows 2000, now we want to migrate database to another server. when I export all tables, it success without error and warning. But when I import, each time there is one table I could not import, give the message
IMP-00058 oracle error 942 encounted
ORA-00942 table or view does not exist.
only one table is empty.
If I change the export table order, then when I import, the another one has same problem. It looks like random, and onle one table can not be imported. I already runed all necessory script
catalog.sql etc first.
Could anyone give me some suggestion? I really appraciate it.
By the way, when I export the whole database or user,
there is always error
EXP-0006 internal inconsistency error
EXP-00056 oracle error 1403 encounted
ORA-01403 no data found
but when export by tables, there is no any problem.

You might like to try the Database General forum with this query.
I suspect you have an issue with the export/import views.

Error 00058 in SAPMM06I 0102 (InfoRec) call by MM42 (master article) IS-R

Hi all,
We are in a IS-Retail, and after call the info record in the tcode MM42 (master article, ie: the program that controls the update is SAPLMGD2, no SAPLMGD1 as in R/3) in the view of purchasing org data 1 (SAPMM06I 0102) the system give the error 00058 (Entry S2 does not exist in T007A - check your entry). The entry exists (I check it with tcode FTXP). This error is after support-packages, after a lot of legal changes (in this supports, we have the field VATDATE in BKPF and so on by legal changes in European Union). If I modify the InfoRec like in a R/3 (tcode ME12) this error not happens.
If somebody has had the same problem, please let me know any suggestion. I've been debugging it, but I cannot view the message error (I write coding in ABAP), it stops in a dynpro of debugger with the display 'OFL'.
Any suggestion or advice is wellcomed, after I will send a message to SAP.

How to use Faces Message

Hi ADF people,
I'm using the following code
FacesMessage msg=new FacesMessage();
msg.setDetail("felix");
msg.setSummary("Andrew....");
FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().addMessage(null,msg);
but displays only felix with information as severity. Why it doesn't display the summary part ("Andrew").
What is the usage of setSummary method ??????????????
Please suggest me to come over of this issue??????????????

Where used report for output message routines

we are running a multiclient ERP system and actually we are having many many output message routines created like RV61B961. Is there an easy way to figure out, if this routines are still in use? I need to reduce the amount.

T683S - KOBED will give you the routines in use against the procedure and application. You can download the list from each client and get the consolidated list.

SAP Note 1046112 - ME11/ME12: Tax code field check does not happen
Now a check against the fields of table T007A is performed:
   Feld EINE-MANDT -> T007A-MANDT
   Feld T005-KALSM -> T007A-KALSM
   Feld EINE MWSKZ -> T007A-MWSKZ
Please note that you cannot enter a tax code in an info record
without a plant if the purchasing organization covers more than one
company code.
Also check notes:
1310624    MM42: Maintain inforecord for article result in 000
1046112    ME11/ME12: Tax code field check does not happen

SAP message Log

Does SAP maintain log of all the messages displayed on screen using MESSAGE statement?
We are investigating a problem and want to see the messages displayed by SAP during the time when problem occured.

We have custom development for picking and confirmation. Last week we found that in some deliveries there is difference in delivered quantity and packed quantity.
Custom development is calling sap-standard FMs. Problem occurs randomly, roughly 10 deliveries in a week has this problem.
We are still trying to investigate the reason that is causing the problem.
Custom program does display the message to user if FM raise any message. We asked user of they are getting any message while picking, and if they are ignoring it.
They just confirmed that they are getting message 'Packing Not Possible Since there is no Quantity to be Packed' and they did ignored this.

Windows Vista: Ipod Error Message, no longer read by PCs

Hello,
I have a 5th generation black ipod video with 30GB of memory.
The other day I hooked it up to my laptop (Toshiba, 4 months old) that it's been functioning on with no problems whatsoever. This weird error message flashed twice about it not being able to sync because of some software problem.
Eversince then, the only thing I can charge my ipod on is the family treadmill in the basement (~_~) as no other computer in the house recognizes it. I can't even charge it through the wall sockets, either.
I have changed the ipod cord, still no luck. I've also reset the device about 3 or 4 times and uninstalled, restarted the laptop then reinstalled itunes. I would like to reset it back to factory settings but that's impossible as computers/laptops don't pick it up. I live very far from a Mac store...
What's a girl to do? I can't live without my Busta Rhymes and Wu-Tang Clan!

Error message into a Variable.

I have a rather usual (unusual from the weekend beers for me though!!) query which I can't figure out a proper way to implement.
My requirement is like this:
I have a message class in which I want to define a text 'Employee number & not found'.
I want to use this in the program, but not to raise this error. Instead, I want to move this error message with the Employee number into a Character(200) variable.
So instead of using MESSAGE e0xx(messageclass) USING employee number, I would like to move the error text into a variable which looks like:
lv_text = e0xx(messageclass) USING '1234' which stores the text 'Employee number 1234 not found' in lv_text.
How would I acheive it??

Cannot sync, error message "could not be read" for an iPod no longer in use

I have two problems. I upgraded iTunes to 7.2 and the very next morning my iPod died. It is completely unresponsive. Maybe it's coincidental. So I bought a new 80 gig iPod and gave it a different name than the old dead iPod. Now when I try to sync the new iPod, it goes for about 10 minutes, then it fails with this message:
Attempting to copy to the disk "old iPod name" failed. The disk could not be read from or written to.
It is complaining that it can not read the old dead iPod that is NOT hooked up to the computer! Somehow, minutes into syncing, iTunes has forgotten which iPod it is looking at. I have seen the article about the "cannont be read" message and it is not relevant. I need to make iTunes forget about the old dead iPod so it will stop looking for it. I've tried removing the files from "Documents and Settings" but iTunes still remembers the old unit. Where else does it store information? Any recommendations?

Okay, that can sometimes be caused by a Windows drive letter confusion. For troubleshooting advice on that possibility, see the following document:
