TA/DA Expense to be booked using WBS(PS) in PR05 of HCM

Dear Experts,
We have recently introduced SAP ERP in our firm and went live with 20 modules.I represent Project System as Functional Lead and we are quite stabilize when it comes to PS module. However, I have a query in regards to the subject cited above. Expenses like Traveling allowance & Daily allowance are incurred during the Project Execution phase and the same has to be booked to project through HCM module. In T-code PR05 of HCM, a field is available where we can fill in WBS/ Network Number. It is found that, when HCM functional Lead selects WBS/ Network and post it, it is not hitting the GL(General Ledger A/c) of FI/Co with WBS of PS. However, when we use GL with Cost center instead of WBS, there is no problem.
We are quite confuse, why is it not picking up GL with WBS when the option is there. We tried every means to come up with all the solution but couldn't succeed. Our implementing consultants for HCM & FI/CO tried there best but where also unable to resolve the issue. I feel there is a solution to this, if not such options won't be available.
Could any expert in here kindly share your views. Is the problem pertains to HCM or FI/CO? Is it control issue? Integration Issue?
Your kind suggestion/recommendation/ideas/ advices will be highly appreciated.

pr05 is travel mgmt,. and not within my skilset so I can suggest an alternate method instead.
why dont you try CATS instead? create a profile which has wbs as receiving cost object. make employees enter their travel related expenses aganst applicable wbs/network.
cats aka cross application time sheets is a very powerful application with sap-erp,.. and the possibilities within are numerous.
after entering times/expenses, the data can be tansferred directly to receiving oduels like hr/ps/mm/pm/cs/co.

I don't know why it doesn't anymore, (or maybe I have to add it on somehow??) but it makes it difficult to know how much I can
zoom in on a picture and still have it be good printable resolution.
Does anyone know how to resolve this or add the warning to the latest version of iphoto?

With iPhoto 9 the low resolution for photos warning has been dropped. The only warning one will get now is for text that has overflowed the text box:
As Larry suggested send a feature request to Apple via http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphoto.html to get it back. That's a big omission in my opinion.
You can determine what your minimum resolution is for your images (if all taken from the same camera) by dividing the pixel dimensions by the size of the larges frame in the book which would be 8.5 x 11. If it's at or above 150 dpi you'll be above Apple's previous resolution warning limit.

Can someone walk me through publishing a hard back photo book using an iPad .I have iPhoto app installed

I don't believe you can create and publish a book directly from the iPhoto for iOS app. You can create a journal which can be published to iCloud, but that's the only sharing feature I can find. There may be third-party software that can do this; the HP Photobook App has been mentioned, but I know nothing about it. Otherwise, if you want to create a book, I think you'll have to transfer your photos to a computer and use software there (iPhoto for Mac OS X, if you have a Mac).

How to share books using home sharing

My husband and I each have our own Apple ID and itunes account. We have home sharing set up using his Apple ID. He has an ipad (1st Gen). I have an iphone 4 and i have purchased some books using my itunes/apple ID, but reading a book on the iphone is difficult to say the least. My husband wants me to use his ipad to read my books. But I don't know how to get my books from my itunes account to his ipad. It looks like I can sign in on his ibooks app on the ipad, but then he loses rights for 90 days. Its not ideal...I would rather not lock him out of his ibooks. Is there an easy way to do this using home sharing? (we each have our own Mac's as well, if that helps). I have found a way to email the books to him, but I get an error message when I try to open them with ibooks -- something about software missing, they are DRM books so that's probably why.

On your husbands computer or account you need to authorise it with your details. This will allow him to play and sync that content with his devices but not change the Apple ID he uses to purchase items
On his itunes From the Top Menu (Ctrl B to show it on Windows)
Select Store > Authorise this computer.. enter your apple id and password
You should be good to go.
If you want to share content your husband purchased then you would have to authorise your machine with his details

I purchasd an ITune Audio Book using a borrowed Windows Computer. After the Download I attempted to Sync and was told that I was synced to a different [something]. It then asked if I wanted to sync to this [Something] I said yes. IT wiped all the stuff off my IPod then gave the following message:
The [title] was not copied to the iPod [name] becuse you are not authorized for it on this computer.
How can I get this to work?
It considered the computer pretty acceptable when it took my money for the title. I think I have been ripped off.
THis whole SYNC is an innecessay step. Why can't I just download stuff to my iPod (from any sourch by the way) and delete it from my iPod when I don't want it any more.

Pdf created from FrameMaker book using FDK is of bigger size

I am new to FrameMaker, when trying to generate a pdf document from a FrameMaker book using FDK, the size of the pdf file created is big when compared to the pdf created using “Save As PDF” from FrameMaker. I have tried setting Named Destinations to false and also “PDF Job Options” to “Smallest File Size”.
Below is the code we use to create a pdf file using FDK

Are these duplicates side-by-side (e.g. A and then A again) or one after another (A, B, C... and then A, B, C...)?
If they're one set after another, FM picks up the list of paratags to include in the bookmarks list from the first file in the book, so if this doesn' contain everything, it might help to import the additional formats into that one. Then clear/remove the exisiting bookmarks and only add back the Titles and Heading1 bookmarks (check that the TOC ones remain in the Don't include list).

We have a requirement to track the Payments made to Vendor Using the wbs Elemenet .
As such we are just assigning the WBS as account assignment for the Purchase requisitions and Purchase orders ..But Venodr payments are made using Purchase order which has WBS as account assignment .
Now the requirement is to track the Vendor payments for a project using WBS element.
Appreciate if some one could throw some light on this ...

Hi,
In AP information system we have many report pertaining to Vendor account and in some of those you have option to bring in "Assignmnet" field in the report which will contain the WBS informations (assuming it is populated in your accounting doc). But if you want to run the report by project / WBS then i thinkyou have to go for a Z report with appropriate logic.

Is it somehow possible to call a transaction using a macro button in the planning book? Also, the current selection should be passed as input parameters to the transaction.
In my example, I am trying to run the transaction /SAPAPO/MC90 - Release to Supply Network Planning from the Demand Planning Planning Book/Data View. This way if planners need to change forecasts mid month for specific selections, they can easily transfer to SNP without having to go out of interactive planning.

Hello Maria,
It's possible to call a transaction from a planning book using a macro button.
What you can do is ..... Create a function module and inside it use the command "Call Transaction Tcode" (ABAPer can do this) to call ur specific transaction. And this module can in turn be called from your macro. Please find the below link which explanis how to call a function module from a macro. Do let me know if you need more information on this.

It's your content, under your control.
If you output as an .ibooks file, and you want to sell it, the store is the only outlet, otherwise, you can do as you wish.

If you go into Entourage's preferences, you'll also find the option to "Synchronize" with Address book.
The option is under the Entourage menu
Choose Preferences
Then, go to General, and choose Sync Services
The option you need should be the first option in the list on the Sync Services screen.
It should have a box to check located next to: "Synchronize Contacts with Address Book and .Mac".
Give that a shot.

Working on making a book using lightroom 5

Working on making a book using lightroom 5 and printing with blurb.com. My question is pertaining to the cover of book. I have two images full bleed and text on the spine. I can see that I can add an image to spine also so its not just a plain color. But does anyone know how to be able to zoom or move image on spine. I basically want the back or front image to bleed right over spine. But there is no option I have seen to do this. Its pretty basic book layout stuff. Why does it seem that lightroom does not do it.

You cannot put an image on the spine. The spine has a text box only, and you cannot put images into a text box.
The only way to have (part of) an image showing on the spine is when you select the two-page spread for the cover. Then the image extends from left to right and goes over the spine.
For page-layout - and that includes the cover - you have to select one of the templates. There is no template with an image on the spine - except the full bleed.
Apart from that, I think it's wise not to put an image on the spine. The text - that is necessarily small - can be hard to read if it is on top of an image.
