You can probably change the ID in the "iTunes and App stores" settings on the iPad....click on the wrong account ID , select sign out, then log in with your own ID, I have not done this but I think it works.....

I found this possible solution on another support thread, so I tried it.
turn off iPod
hold Sleep and Home buttons to start it.
When Apple appears, let go of Sleep button, but keep holding Home button.
When screen goes blank, let go of Home button.
Connect cable and check iTunes to see if it has conencted.
This did not work for me.
I then turned off the iPod, restarted the Mac, and restarted the iPod normally.
I connected them with the cable, and it works like normal. :-) -

i dont know why but IPhone 5S was suppose to be the best device of apple. According to apple, the device is capable of multitasking, high end gamming, and efficient browsing. The device is equiped with A7 AND M7 chip, thou is hopeless. The deivce laggs a lot, freezes at times, battery is draining rapidly.
The answer to the rest of your question is in my original post. Reset all settings "should" fix whatever is heating and draining your battery. (The heat is coming from the processor which is in turn draining your battery) Now if you've done the reset all settings, charged it to 100%, and then 4 hours of "normal use" later it's dead, you may have a deeper software issue that will require a erase and setup as new, or you're having an actual hardware issue that will require either a Genius Bar appointment or calling Apple Care directly. The diagnostics they run gives you a detailed report about battery drainage and what is causing it.
There can only be 3 things causing it,.. Software, hardware or usage. That will definitely answer your question.
I emphasized "normal usage" meaning web browsing, email, phone calls, light gaming. If you're watching a 3 hour moving streaming over 3G/4G/LTE then you're going to see a huge drain. It's good hardware, but not magic. Haha. I doubt that's what you're doing, but just in case here's a support article that you can reference. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1805
If you can not fix it by these methods, I strongly encourage contacting Apple either in person or on the phone. That will give you the most direct answer. You have a 5s, so part of your warranty is that support.

I swithced it on by clicking on options when I start up and then clicked on Macintosh HD. the other option was a question mark and network drive.
Is there a way to ensure it never happens again, what is the cause for this problem, if I need to uninstall some application, i am happy to do it as long as I know what is causing this conflict.

You claim this is a brand new machine and you have not tried to install Windows or Boot Camp.
Then why would you ever even go into System Preferences > Startup Disk and choose Macintosh HD? It should have automatically booted into Macintosh HD.
You're probably going to have to reinstall Mac OS X. -
Adobe X PDF files converted to jpg, edited and converted back to PDF have ragged, unclear text. I didn't have this problem with Acrobat 9 standard. What is the remedy for this. If this is the best I can expect, I won't be able to use X standard.
I can't imagine any worse workflow than converting to JPEG to edit text, then back to PDF. Text in a PDF is a vector thing, smooth at all resolutions. And JPEG is made for photos. EVERY conversion to JPEG and back loses quality but how much loss there is will vary.
If you must go to an image format, try PNG. -

Your VGA is definitely corrupted and it is irreparable, so just make the HP to change your vga.
Also next time read my post on how to keep your laptop cool to avoid same issues again.

My ipod nano 6th gen fell out of my pocket and the screen cracked badly, is there any coverage for this under warranty? I just bought it a month ago. If not what are the options for getting it fixed? Repair Disk
Insert Installer disk and Restart, holding down the "C" key until grey Apple appears.
Go to Installer menu (Panther and earlier) or Utilities menu (Tiger) and launch Disk Utility.
Select your HDD (manufacturer ID) in the left panel.
Select First Aid in the Main panel.
(Check S.M.A.R.TStatus of HDD at the bottom of right panel, and report if it saysanything but Verified)
Click Repair Disk on the bottom right.
If DU reports disk does not need repairs quit DU and restart.
If DU reports errors Repair again and again until DU reports disk is repaired.
If DU reports errors it cannot repair you will need touse autility like TechTool Pro,Drive Geniusor DiskWarrior
First we need to determine if the issue you are experiencing with the computer is software or hardware based. Once we have gotten things sorted out there should be time enough to make you decision about keeping or returning it.
