First I assume there is a bluetooth module inside your computer.
If so please test to reinstall its driver. To get a driver for the device, you need to know the brand and model of your computer or your motherboard.
Generally computer manufacturers will provide all drivers for their computers on their website. Search with your computer model on manufacturer's website could help you get a proper driver. If failed, search your motherboard from its manufacturer instead
will also help.
After that, uninstall your bluetooth module from Device Manager and install the driver you just downloaded, reboot to see the result.

Please confirm what version of OS X you are running - I doubt it is the ancient OS 10.1 !

Unfortunately Apple do not offer a download for mac OS X 10.5.8. They will only provide updates available for download. ( Normally you would do so once the OS is installed)
To do a fresh install of this software your going to need to buy a retail copy of the disk.
There are some vendors who do still stock the media disk, but they can be expensive.

I can't import my favorites from FF on Windows XP hard drive because it can't see the Favorites HTML file.

My old computer was windows XP and I had a second, larger hard drive with Ubuntu on it. My computer crashed because of the motherboard. I had both hard drives moved to a newer computer (motherboard from 2006) and computer could not boot to windows. It's now booted to the Ubuntu drive and I can access my old info on the windows XP drive. I would like to import my favorites from FF on my windows XP drive to my FF on my Ubuntu drive but "import data from another browser" doesn't find anything because it's looking on my Ubunto drive not my windows XP drive. I tried creating an HTML document of my favorites on the windows drive but when trying to import the HTML file of my favorites on Ubuntu, it can't see it...but Dolphin can see the HTML file I created.

Did you use Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks > Import & Backup > Import HTML ?
Does the HTML backup have a .html file extension?

With the latest FF update I can't load the New York Times

I updated FF and Flash Player today and now I can't load the New York Times - all I get is a page with links. Other sites are loading OK. I've tried changing the security.mixed_content.block_active_content to false and that didn't help.
I've got FF 36:0 and I use Windows. Does anybody know whether this is a FF problem and if there's a solution?

This is in regards to the Sound Blaster Z drivers. I noticed that when Window 8.1 was released back in November? They had on the 8.1 compatibility list of upcoming support drivers for Windows 8.1 set for February. Well where is it? The current drivers are not from January 22nd like it states. These same drivers have been around since the release of the Sound Blaster Z and haven't been updated since. My question is do you guys ever update your drivers? The current drivers cause nothing but headaches and at times causes the card not to be detected at windows start up. Windows 8.1 Update was released today, and now it's even buggier then before. I've had to restart my computer two times just to get the card to be detected under windows.
It's not the card as I have tested it out on a Windows 7 machine without any issues. Seems to be a combination of Windows 8.1 with Creative drivers.

I did my Windows 10 update OTA from Microsoft this weekend and didn't have to upgrade any drivers. Device Manager shows everything good to go and I'm not seeing any issues.

Small Hard drive on computer, can I load Ipod?

My hard drive on my computer is like a total of 40g and I recently bought the Ipod Video 30g. My problem is that I have no more room on my computer and I cant delete any songs without having itunes take them off of my Ipod. I've been messing around for about an hour and I still cant find the setting to keep songs on my ipod even though I delete them from my computer.

It's possible but you still might want to give some thought to buying an external drive.

I would like to use time Machine to back up to a network SMB drive. I can see the drive on my desktop but it will not show in the time machine window to be able to select it

I currently have a mini server (OSX10.8.5, server 2.2.2) that I am using Time Machine to back up 4 external drives that are connected to the server via firewire 800. I would like to use Time Machine to back up to a windows network SMB drive. I can see the drive on my desktop but it will not show in the time machine window to be able to select it for use.

The supported targets for Time Machine backups are local (direct-connected) disks, and network targets include Time Capsule, a disk hanging off the current-generation AirPort (though not earlier AirPort devices), and OS X Server systems.
The Time Machine storage is based on the HFS+ file system, so I would not expect TM to work with SMB file services.
While there are hacks to allow Time Machine to access network drives, I would not consider those to be reliable. Skim the forum and the 'net for related details, and for previous discussions of setting this up and the related issues that can arise.
Remember to test the recovery with whatever you decide to use; whole point of backups is the ability to restore the data, after all.

Are there any driver updates available for the L850-162?
I'm just running with the ones that came installed with the laptop but the display is pixellated and jumpy when watching video.
Any help/advice would be much appreciated

Sat L850-162 is a part of the PSKDGE and it has been equipped with an Intel HD (INTEL HM76) Express chipset (graphic chip)
There are more Toshiba series which use the same chipset so you could also use the drivers released for such notebook models.
For example:

and others
At least you could also try to use the Intel HD HM76 driver from the Intel page.

Winzip Driver Updater is part of original Lenovo Preloaded Apps?

I'm getting a windows from Winzip Driver Updater on my Lenovo C240 MT 6268 All in one desktop. That is a bit odd since Lenovo has their own software to update drivers, I could not find in lenovo site any reference to this program, however, there is a page-->

that looks like they are aware that this program exists in Lenovo systems. I did not wanted to installe New Drivers (16 found so far) until I can confirm that Lenovo provided Winzip Driver updater as a part of their Factory Preload, or maybe this was installed by some marketing sofware or even malware of some kind. P.S. the site that is aware of this software does not look like official Lenovo Site.
Have anybody on this fouroum wondering if this software was supplied by Lenovo?

I can't say whether or not there was a version of winzip included in a preload with any certainty without doing some research.
If you don't use it, or have doubts about it, it may be best to uninstall it.
