  • Pop-up message problem

There is a problem with the prompt message when hitting the SAVE button in hap_document.
i have included the pop-up messages  for the buttons in the layout_standard.htm..
so whenever the save button is clicked the pop-up message will appear..
The prompt for the SAVE button works when you first create the performance plan.
However, after the manager rejects the PM, then it no longer prompts when you hit the SAVE.
please help me out to resolve this problem..

  • Autofill pop-up card problems with Safari 6.1

I'm using Safari 6.1 on my '12 MBP Retina 15" OS 10.8.5.  When I begin to fill in my information, the Autofill card pops up, but when I click on it, nothing happens. Also, the Autofill card remains on the window and I can't close it.

If you didnt see my previous post.....some have found this helpful, and definitely works
I have found thru trial and error that while in safari, click EDIT , THEN AUTOFILL FORM. for me this seems to work. the autofill bubble that normally pops up still wont work, so dont click it or it will be stuck on your screen. make sure your vcard(MYCARD or MECARD) is filled out properly. select your auto fill info from : contacts, select card, then make this my card. i believe apple still needs a fix for the autofill bubble, but at least this is a temp solution.

  • When ever I try to watch any video, from a link or YouTube say, using Firefox, I get a message 'An error as occurred. Please try again later'. It has been this way for some weeks. I don't have this problem using Safari or Opera.

I believe that our “Werbung problem” adds an additional second hyperlink to the pop-up window. This second link is activated whenever you trigger a saved hyperlink to a Mail.com site.
I had the same problem and eliminated it by deleting all bookmarks, hyperlinks and automatic links that take firefox to a mail.com address. So I just deleted all bookmarks I had saved for mail.com. I also changed my home page link because it also went to my email at mail.com. I then did a warm boot, opened firefox and re-saved my bookmarks and homepage to the desired addresses. Good luck.

  • Every time I open Safari, I get a message (and a pop-up) that says the Safari browser I'm using does not support Community Toolbar. How can I get rid of the Community Toolbar or at least turn it off?

Every time I open Safari, I get a message (and a pop-up) that says the Safari browser I'm using does not support Community Toolbar. How can I get rid of the Community Toolbar or at least turn it off?

That toolbar/ct plugin seems to cause problems for all who install it!
Close Safari, then locate and delete the following files and it should be gone:
    /Library/Application Support/Conduit
    /Library/InputManagers/CTLoader
    /Library/Receipts/ctloader.pkg
    /Library/Receipts/<Toolbar name>.pkg
    /Library/Application Support/SIMBL/Plugins/CT2285220.bundle
    /Users/<User name>/Library/Application Support/Conduit
where / is the root library on your Hard Disk.
If you are running Snow Leopard you should also look here:
    Library/launchAgents/com.conduit.loader.agent.plist
    Library/Application support/conduit plugins
Note: Safari does not support any third-party toolbars except those supplied as an extension to Safari via the Extension Gallery.

  • I'm stuck at a pop up message in Safari

After visiting a website in Safari I get the following pop up message: "
    Safari - Alert
Suspicious Activity Might Have been Detected.
    Major Security Issue
To fix it please call Support for Apple
    +1 855-326-4813 (Toll Free) immediately!"
It is impossible to navigate away from this page, or get the pop off to stop coming up so that I can disable pop ups.

    Helpful Links Regarding Malware Problems
If you are having an immediate problem with ads popping up see The Safe Mac » Adware Removal Guide, AdwareMedic, or Remove unwanted adware that displays pop-up ads and graphics on your Mac - Apple Support.
Open Safari, select Preferences from the Safari menu. Click on Extensions icon in the toolbar. Disable all Extensions. If this stops your problem, then re-enable them one by one until the problem returns. Now remove that extension as it is causing the problem.
The following comes from user stevejobsfan0123. I have made minor changes to adapt to this presentation.
Fix Some Browser Pop-ups That Take Over Safari.
Common pop-ups include a message saying the government has seized your computer and you must pay to have it released (often called "Moneypak"), or a phony message saying that your computer has been infected, and you need to call a tech support number (sometimes claiming to be Apple) to get it resolved. First, understand that these pop-ups are not caused by a virus and your computer has not been affected. This "hijack" is limited to your web browser. Also understand that these messages are scams, so do not pay any money, call the listed number, or provide any personal information. This article will outline the solution to dismiss the pop-up.
    Quit Safari
Usually, these pop-ups will not go away by either clicking "OK" or "Cancel." Furthermore, several menus in the menu bar may become disabled and show in gray, including the option to quit Safari. You will likely have to force quit Safari. To do this, press Command + option + esc, select Safari, and press Force Quit.
    Relaunch Safari
If you relaunch Safari, the page will reopen. To prevent this from happening, hold down the 'Shift' key while opening Safari. This will prevent windows from the last time Safari was running from reopening.
This will not work in all cases. The shift key must be held at the right time, and in some cases, even if done correctly, the window reappears. In these circumstances, after force quitting Safari, turn off Wi-Fi or disconnect Ethernet, depending on how you connect to the Internet. Then relaunch Safari normally. It will try to reload the malicious webpage, but without a connection, it won't be able to. Navigate away from that page by entering a different URL, i.e. www.apple.com, and trying to load it. Now you can reconnect to the Internet, and the page you entered will appear rather than the malicious one.

Prior to updating flash player, you must first uninstall all previous versions.  Make sure you are downloading from the proper Adobe website = Adobe Flash Player Software
    Flash Player Uninstaller
Repair permissions and restart your computer after the installations.

    HI and welcome...
Open a Finder window. *Select your MacintoshHD in the Sidebar on the left*. Now open the Library folder, then the ScriptingAdditions folder, the InputManagers folder, and the ApplicationSupport folder.
Move these files to the Trash:
    ctscripting.osax/Contents/MacOS/ctscripting
    CTLoader/ctloader.bundle/Contents/MacOS/ctloader
    Conduit/Plugins/cttoolbar.bundle/Contents/MacOS/ct_plugins
    Relaunch Safari.

I'm being shown an error pop-up message periodically saying "There was a problem connecting to the server. URLs with the type 'file:' are not supported." I have a brand new MacBook Pro, and at no time am I actually having trouble connecting to the server, but this message continues to pop-up several times a day at random intervals. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Or is my computer just having a glitch? Other than that, and a mildly sticking caps lock button, it's working perfectly.
    Thank you!

Alright it didn't solve it. Any other suggestions?
I haven't suggested a solution yet. I want to know whether you still get the messages while Time Machine is disabled. Do you? If so, try any or all of the solutions proposed in this thread:

Open the Time Machine pane in System Preferences. If it shows that Time Machine is ON, click the padlock icon in the lower left corner, if necessary, to unlock it. Scroll to the bottom of the list of backup drives and click Add or Remove Backup Disk. Remove all the disks, then add them back. Quit System Preferences. Test.

  • Having problem with iPad sync getting pop up message as below. The iPad cannot be synced because there is not enough space to hold all of the items in the iTues library (additional 10.03 GB required).  There is enogh space be it in PC or on iPad.

Having problem with i Pad sync getting pop up message as below. The i Pad cannot be synced because there is not enough space to hold all of the items in the iTunes library (additional 10.03 GB required).  There is enough space be it in PC or on i Pad. Why and What can be done to resolve, please advice appreciate. Thanks

It generally means - just using random numbers for examples - the iTunes on your computer holds 45 gig of content, you have a 16 gig iPad which has 13 gig of free space and the content just won't fit.
Easy solutions. go into iTunes and 'manually manage' your content. I believe this is in the main summary tab for your device (connect your device, click on the icon in iTunes to access controls for your iPad
You may also need to choose to manually control content in both the music and movie tabs.
    Apple - Support - Manuals
the manual will have more specific info for syncing and controlling content

XP SecurityCenter will perform a quick and completely FREE scan of your system for malicious software.

Come back and download spyware removal tool!"
when I finally close that window it automatically downloads a file "xpsecurity.exe"
I did a virus scan and nothing seems to be wrong and I also checked the website on another computer on the same network. I reinstalled safari but nothing seems to be working. PLEASE HELP!
    Thanks.

I reinstalled safari but nothing seems to be working.
Don't waste your time deleting and reinstalling Safari; that's not the problem.
What have you downloaded or installed recently, including today before this problem started? It sounds like you have a Trojan Horse, which you can check for and remove by downloading DNSChanger Removal Tool. Assuming it finds it on your system, it will remove it and you must restart your Mac for the job to be completed; then your system should be okay.
