TA48312 Where can I download the Mac OS 10.7 Lion??
I really want to get the Lion OS on this macbook b/c i've been having some glitchy issues and I just got it yesterday. So I hope the newer system might help maybe. Anyone know where and how I can get it? I've tried multiple things and searches and I got nothing. So frustrated!

Can't download the Mac OS X Mountain Lion update?
For some weird reason, I cannot download this update. Everytime I click "download", it says: You have updates available for other accounts. Sign in to blah blah blah to update applications for that account.
First off, I only have one account. Secondly, I have never even seen this random email they gave me in the pop up. It won't let me download at all.. Any kind of advice or anything will surely suffice. Thanks.Delete the applications for the rogue account prompting the updates. Delete the following file:
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.appstore.plist
Triple click the path to select it. Right click (or control + click) the highlighted path and from the dropdown menu select services > reveal.
Delete the file. Reboot. See if the problem persists. -
Have photoshop cs6 for windows and am now migrating to a mac with Yosemite installed.

Are you holding down the "d" key, all by itself, just after the system shuts down for a restart?
And how long did you hold it down?
I held mine down for about 40-50 seconds. Then I lookat at my routers WAN light and it was flickering so I let up on the d key.
If that does not work then maybe there is something wrong with your MBP. Is that the reason you want to run this test, something isn't right with your unit? -

Unfortunately Apple do not offer a download for mac OS X 10.5.8. They will only provide updates available for download. ( Normally you would do so once the OS is installed)
To do a fresh install of this software your going to need to buy a retail copy of the disk.
There are some vendors who do still stock the media disk, but they can be expensive.

Where can I download the most recent itunes? I'm not able to sincronise my ipod.
Whenever I try to sincronise my ipod everything goes right until the last stage, when a message appears saying that the error 13019 has been produced. It's an error regarding my itunes version but the message that used to appear to download it is no longer there. Check the key used to Eject is not stuck down.
On My Microsoft Wireless keyboard it is a Specific key that does nothing else.
On my Mac Pro Keyboard ( a Keyboard called the Mac Pro from around 2002/3) also has a specific key
If nothing is in my MacBook Pro Drive then the key for that does not make the drive do anything. (It would only get triggered when a Disk was inserted).
Seems all Mac Keyboards may have a specific key but I was not sure.

I'm running 10.6.8 Snow Leopard fine on my MacPro1,1, Dual-Core Intel Xeon, 2.66 GHz Mac, but I need to install Lion 10.7.0 to run a program I need.How do I install OS 10.7 NOT 10.7.5, because I get this message when I try to install 10.7.5, which I've downloaded:"This update requires Mac OS X version 10.7." on a mac running Snow Leopard 10.6.8, So i need to install the original 10.7.0 over the 10.6.8 i.e. where can I find the original install app for Lion OS 10.7.0? The original Lion 10.7. is not avaialable for purchase from the App store or anywhere, even C-Net . Where can I find it to purchase?
Also it seems I cannot install Mountain Lion over 10.6.8 as advertised. When I go to purchase I get this message: "We could not complete your purchase. OS X Mountain Lion is not compatible with this computer." I think my computer can handle it (specs above) Are there any workarounds to this?If you're getting a "This update requires Mac OS X version 10.7" message, than you have the updater and not the full installer. Go to your Purchases section of the Mac App Store and you should see the full version there. But it may be 10.7.5, though in my system is shows as being from 2011 which would appear to be the original version.
As to Mountain Lion, that's supported only on the Early 2008 Mac Pro or newer.

I have just purchased the latest macbook pro 13 retina (late 2013). I want to connect to a Dell U2713H Monitor. As the new macbook doesn't have a cd slot, I am unable to install the monitor drivers etc. Where can I download the drivers?
Thanks for your prompt reply. I'm not sure how to connect to the monitor as the only ports available on this model mac are Thunderbolt. The mini display to display cable supplied doesn't seem to work out of the TB port. Do I need to use a Thunderbolt cable + an adaptor?

FYI .. Snow Leopard is no longer available from the Apple online store but you can purchase Snow Leopard by calling Apple > 1-800-APL-CARE (1-800-275-2273)

i got windows 8 installed with bootcamp on my macbook pro late 2010 (5, 5) and theres no sound coming out of it, so i installed an nvidia audio driver (idk, it could be the incorrect one) but i have nvidia GeForce 320 on my macbook.
