Tab - 'Activities' in Create Notification missing in NWBC for HTML.

Dear Members,
Greetings for the day!
I am working with NWBC for HTML as a part of EAM implementation in my project.
When I am trying to create a notification in SAP GUI via the transaction - IW21, I am able to see a tab namely - "Activities".
But this same tab is not available when I am trying to create a notification using NWBC for HTML in the same SAP system.
Please refer the enclosed screen document in which I have highlighted the issue.
Could anyone please suggest me if any business function needs to be activated for making this tab available in NWBC HTML also?
Else do I need to raise an OSS message to SAP for any note implementations or is there a need to develop / configure this tab in Webdynpro ABAP / Floor Plan Manager framework?

I am working on NWBC for HTML in Plant Maintenance module.
We have configured some changes in SPRO for customizing the UI elements( like visibility, mandatory ) like tabs and fields in transactions like IW21( Create Notification).
As of now separate parallel configuration needs to be carried out in NWBC for HTML in PM module to achieve the same UI features for creating notifications and this is time consuming.
Is there any way to read the configuration done in SPRO for the SAP GUI's and leverage the same in NWBC for HTML.

This configuration is weird little bit. There is MatchExpression /app1 and MatchExpression /app2 and at the same time two <Location /weblogic> sections. Are you sure you understand what that configuration stands for?

NWBC for HTML Layout

My nwbc for HTML, for one system, looks like this: The icons don't appear; I couldn't close the launchpad navigation, and appears masthead, end of masthead ammong other things in the shell.
When it should look like this:
Can anyone explain me why this happens in one system and not in the others. I have the same software versions in all systems.

I just finished implementing the necessary notes to update the Unified Rendering and nothing changed.
Is there a place in the system where you can customize the shell?

NWBC for HTML: Warning with IE 10

Hi,
When I open NWBC for HTML in IE 10, I get a warning saying "The standards mode is not supported for document modes less than 8 (Note 1970689)".
If I hit 'Ignore', everything is fine. How can I get rid of this error?

Simon,
IE is trying to use "IE8 Standards". If I change it to "Standards" I do not have any problem. But obviously I do not want user to change it every time they use the NWBC.
I added parameter sap-ie EDGE for NWBC_LAUNCH node. Still no luck.
Compatibility settings are empty and no checkbox checked.
I am on 740 SP5 and already applied

NWBC for HTML troubleshooting - stuck at splashscreen

Hi all gurus,
I'm quite new to NWBC for HTML and I'm trying accessing to an SRM system via transaction NWBC.
Notice I'm just a guest on that system so I cannot go for note applications directly; I could eventually direct tech staff in order to approach any problem but I'm trying anyway to figure out what could be the issue.
Shortly; launching the NWBC transaction, the usual IE window with role selection pops up. I can then select a "node" (say, the root one, /nwbc). Then the splash screen appears but when the progress bar reaches more or less half of the lenght, it freezes and remain stuck'd.
I can see from ST22 that after a while, a dump for TIME_OUT appears due to (I guess) an infinite loop in method GET_BREAD_CRUMB_HTML:

I guess there's something that should be fixed in terms of configuration; I checked in SICF transaction and /sap/bc/nwbc node is active (and all the subnodes); however, testing nwbc_test, an empty IE page pops up.
Could someone help me addressing what could be the problem, so that I can provide extra info to the techies?

Highly possibly the Runtime Environment and/or the Unified Rendering is too old. But in case the test page is empty, first is more possible. You can check the Runtime Environment with KBA 1864151 - please use section 2. Most current is PL37.

Adding a custom css in sap_corby theme in NWBC for HTML 3.6.

I use the theme sap_corby in NWBC.
I'd like add a few changes in the design of the portal.
For example, I'd like add the custom.css style, user name and etc.
I've added in the table /UI2/NWBC_CFGCV parameters:
COCKPIT_TITLE = my title,
WELCOME_MESSAGE = my message,
CSS_URL = my css address (For example, /sap/bc/ui5_ui5/sap/zhcmi384_ui5/custom.css)
Next I open in browser (ie 10) link:
<server>:<port>/sap/bc/ui2/nwbc/?sap-client=<>&sap-language=RU&sap-nwbc-node=root
and I've see that COCKPIT_TITLE and WELCOME_MESSAGE is load well, but CSS_URL does not work.
How to load my custom.css file into NWBC?
If I want to try to edit the theme in UI Theme Designer.
When I want to create a topic in the designer. I only see active "open" button. Other buttons are disable.
I open the theme (the Copy). I make changes.
I choose to unlock. all is well. but where can I find my topic?
I do not see her anywhere.

SRM 7.02 NWBC for HTML

Hello All,
When we are using nwbc_launch url in SRM 7.02, always pointing to the role selection page (Just like below). We don't want this page to be displayed.
We want to logon to SRM directly. How to disable this below page. The look and feel logon page in this screen is good, compare to srm service.
Also when we use srm service the proper logon page is not displayed(see below), like nwbc_launch service.

Create Notification Navigation Button not working in Order Objects Tab

Hi Gurus,
I am having an issue in Order --> Objects tab. I want to create notification for additional technical objects for the order. When I enter the technical object details and press enter, a "Create Notification" navigation button gets activated for that line item. But when I press that button, nothing happens. On the other hand if a select multiple line items and then press "Create Notification" button at the bottom of the line items, I am able to create notifications for the selected line items.
Can someone help me suggest what can be the problem or suggest a Note which might restore the functionality of the "Create Notification" navigation button at the line item level.

Vishal,
I dont think the Notification Create Button from line item is pretty much dependent on the Customization Settings or any sap note concerning this has not been as yet brought into my notice. In my system, this is working appropriately. The problem with this which i can think of is either an authorization issue or you should raise an oss for this.

PM: Create notification from a work order using transaction IW32.

Hi guys,
I am trying to create a Notification for a Functional Location thru Work Order Using transaction Code IW32.
The actual transaction works fine as below -
1. Open a work order in change mode using T code IW32
2. Choose tab "Objects" to see the list of functional locations.
3. Select a line with a functional loc, for which you want to create Notification & click "Create" Button at the bottom of the list.
4. Enter Notification type on the pop up screen & enter.
5. Enter the activity code, text & start date on the notif create screen & click Back. You can see the temp Notif Number in the row selected from the object list.
6. Click save on the order change screen & the Notification is saved & is associated with the order & func Loc..
However I can not do this in a program.
I tried using Batch Input method. It works, but the problem is if you have more than 1 page of the Objects (Func locations) in objects tab, you can not goto the next pages.
I also tried using BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_CREATE. Which doesnot for this purpose. It tries to create Notification but can't associate with the order.

These are all the user parameters. We dont need to set anything here.
Please check your user roles. Goto SU01-> enter your sap user id-> press display-> Navigate to Roles tab and check all the specified roles are exist for your user.
Also please check the screenshots for the better understanding.

During Notification Creation I get the error --Partner Function is Not Allowed in Partner Determination Profile Q2
As I enter Purchase Document Number in the transaction QM01 and press Enter. I get the above error and donot go further.
Can anyone help me here.

You are missing some configuration for the partner function;
Go- to
SPRO>IMG>QM>Quality Notifications>Notification Creation>Partners>Define partner Determination Procedure>
Again Select "Define Partner Determination Procedure".
Select Quality management> Change Partner
Now Select Q2.
Compare settings with Partner Determination Procedure on any other client. Also check Partner functions on the same screen.

I see some confusion in concept about Catalog Code Tabs.
What you referred in the initial post are the Sub-Tabs inside a Catalogs & codes Main tab of a Notification.
What you have referred to in the later post are the Main Tabs of Catalogs. like this
The Difference
The Sub-Tabs of Catalogs will display information corresponding to the line item of the first tab (Object part & Damage Tab). Here you are not free to enter a Cause, Task or Activity without filling an Item line (Object part or Damage)
The Main Tabs are independent Catalog Tabs. You can maintain the line items here independently without any conditions as above.
Lastly:
I hope your initial query has been cleared by looking into the picture, that you can have a separate Causes Tab.
In configuration, you need to have tab 10/Tab16 for this.

Without creating the scenario in SFP, is it possible to update data directly in ISR_SPECIAL_DATA_SET,
i want to use fm ISR_SPECIAL_DATA_GET in my program.
i'm trying to achive same using ISR_NOTIFICATION_CREATE and built general, special table and long text to get a
notification number. but notification no is not creating , return msg is ( E I 421 |Notification type not defined ) even i'm passing currect notif type.

Nice to see your reply, I think, you are right...
The Fm ISR_SPECIAL_DATA_GET already used in my various reports, Workflows etc.
And I have a custom WebDynpro java based application which have similar data and have custom notification no. + (in this case probably i need to create new fm ZISR_SPECIAL_DATA_GET to use in above report and wf)+
To avoid the rework and minimized the code Iu2019m trying to create notification no using standard fm and link custom WD data with ISR_SPECIAL_DATA_GET.
Please let me know how to proceed with that
