Tab Bar is 'scrunched' to the far left, I can't expand to go across the screen.

I'm not sure how it happened, I was trying to move a tab to the left but instead, all of my tabs are now 'scrunched' to the far left of the bar, leaving a lot of empty space to the right and on; but I can't figure out how to expand, so I can see all the tabs at the same time. It's in the default position at the top, but I can't see them all, even the 'open new tab' and 'list all tabs' icons are to the far left. Any help would be most appreciated.

Try double tapping the screen with three fingers to return to normal size. If it works go to settings> general> accessibility> zoom> off.

Command-click on a toolbar then click on the "Tabs on Top" entry to de-select it.

Just today my 16gb ipad 2 ,bought in December 2011, started to get a black bar over part of the screen. Sometimes 3/4 of the screen sometimes 1/4 then it freezes up and will not do anything. If I try to reboot it I get a faint backlit only. Any help would be appreciated!

On the iPad tap Settings > iCloud
Toggle Documents & Data off then back on then restart your iPad.
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button down until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPhone. To turn iPhone back on, press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
On the iMac open System Preferences > iCloud
Deselect the box next to Documents & Data then reselect it then restart your iMac.

How do I stop the tab bar from scrolling to the left whenever I open a new tab? It's a constant distraction

If I have more than a single tab bar of tabs open whenever I open a new one the tab I'm currently on is shifted to the left of the bar 1 spot until it's the leftmost tab on the screen.
Is it possible to stop firefox from doing this as the movement of the tabs at the top of the screen is incredibly distracting?

I don't have multiple tab bars and haven't installed anything to try and get them.
I re-read what I wrote earlier and realised it's not worded clearly when I said: If I have more than a single tab bar of tabs open
I meant: When I have so many tabs open that they won't all fit into the tab bar at once

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears. 
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.

Have you tried Firefox's zoom feature? Font size and zoom - increase the size of web pages
You can "zoom" all sites using this add-on: [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2592/ NoSquint]. After setting your global zoom level, you can still fine-tune the zoom on individual sites.
After installing NoSquint, click the % on the Add-on Bar to call up site preferences, then click the Global Settings button, then the Zooming tab.
If you don't have the Add-on Bar displayed, you can right-click the new tab button ("+") or a blank area of the tab bar to the right of it and choose Add-on Bar from the shortcut menu.
You can experiment with sizes larger than 125%, but I wouldn't go much higher than 150% unless you have a large high-resolution monitor.

Yes im using safari version 5.1.2 (6534.52.7) I have tried clicking show toolbar from the view menu but i still can't see it. It's the bar where you type in a website link or http:// that I can find - any other suggestions much appreciated

The progress/time bar at top of the screen has disappeared

On my Ipod Touch -- when playing a song -- the bar at the top of the screen (that shows how much total time there is for the song and where the player is within the song) has disappeared. It was there yesterday, and now it's just gone. BTW, the volume control is still there. And otherwise, the player seems to be working fine. Somewhere, I read that this situation might be resolved by re-syncing it. I tried that and it didn't work. Any idea as to what may have happened... and how can I fix it?

In the music app play a song and when the song starts to play in the screen where the progress bar was tap in the middle of the screen and it should be back. I had this problem too but then i figured it out. And trust me if u do that it will be back. If that doesnt work tell me.

New tabs opening in the middle of the tab bar instead of at the end.

Opening a new tab from a link would open the tab right after / behind the tab you are currently viewing - not at the end. This makes for a very confusing / annoying / clustered browsing as it's impossible to keep track of what you opened (if you are opening more than one link from a certain page).

What happened to the ability to bookmark multiple tabs in one click? As far as I can tell, the new Firefox has dropped this option and now forces you to create a folder, individually bookmark every page and organize the bookmarks yourself.

Clean install of Firefox on clean install of Win7 x86. Previous bookmarks lost due to hdd crash. Trying to configure Firefox 4 like my previous Firefox 3 and finding it difficult. This was my favorite feature of the previous Firefox and I'm dismayed that it's either gone or well-hidden.

Some menu entries are hidden by default and only show up if you use the keyboard to open the menu. Bookmark All Tabs is one of them and you see that entry if you use Alt + B to open the Bookmarks menu. You can see the same if you use Alt + F to open the File menu instead of pressing Alt and click the menu entry.

When loading a game in facebbok my browser gets stuck in a loop - Status bar says "transferring data" then "reading" then "waiting for app" the advert bar flashes up, then the screen clears and it all starts again.

The game is "secret plant society" which is a flash based application. I have tried the game in another browser where it is working fine.

if we sign in with free ID the loop unlucks and then you can either transfer your purchases using iTunes or restore to the best back up and once done the problem is solved for ever; though I deleted some contents such as iTunesU and some rarely used apps.

With Firefox 29.0.1 double clicking on either the left or right hand arrows in the tab bar creates a new tab at the right hand end of the tab bar. This is annoying behaviour that violates standards around UI design single click and double click. A double click should extend the behaviour of the single click rather than doing something completely different (opening a new tab). An example would be , in Word a single click selects a word, a double click selects the sentence and a triple click selects the paragraph. Note that this is a separate issue from double clicking on the tab bar itself to create a new tab.
When there are more tabs on the tab bar than will fit in the viewport the tabs scroll sideways so show the tab in use. I can click the left and right arrows at the ends of the tab bar to scroll the bar in that direction to bring a tab that I want to select into view. I believe that double clicking the left arrow would scroll the bar fully right, exposing the left-most tab. Double clicking the right arrow would scroll the bar fully left exposing the right-most tab.
This is a logical and expected extension of the behaviour of the single click. Single click - scroll once (seems to be about three tab's worth), double click - scroll all the way.
At the moment, if I want to scroll to the left-most tab I have to click the arrow slowly and carefully until I reach it. I used to single click rapidly on the left arrow until the tabs stopped scrolling without having to count how many clicks. It's possible that my rapid single clicks were actually double clicks. Nevertheless, the tab bar would stop scrolling when it reached the end.
Now the behaviour is really annoying and unexpected. A double click on the left arrow scrolls the tabs fully right and then fully left and creates a New Tab at the right hand end. Ditto the right hand arrow in the opposite direction.
While I can (maybe) see that value of a double click on the tab bar itself creating a new tab, double clicking one of the scroll arrows should not produce a new tab.
Double clicks on the tab arrows should scroll the tab bar fully to that end. If the tab bar is already fully scrolled to that end then additional clicks (single, double and triple...) should be ignored.
I like the idea of opening a new tab to the right of the one that currently has focus. This should be a right click context menu option.

That shouldn't happen if you click the scroll buttons on the tab bar.
A double-click should act as page up/down and move a full screen and a triple-click should move to the far left (first tab) or the far right (last) tab.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

The security feature of switching off tabs bar is one of the reason I pick Mozilla. It is only one extra button to be able to switch it off. The choice should still be there and not like Microsoft and trying to force it on people

i think you have not understood how the attack really works. no new tab will be opened but the content of the existing page is replaced by something that resembles a popular login site. this works the same way in windows as it does in tabs, which you can test yourself at the proof-of-concept page: http://www.azarask.in/blog/post/a-new-type-of-phishing-attack/
