Tab bug in Pages − Some complex-script characters collapse all tabs on a line.

This problem is somewhat serious, since it basically turns tabs into spaces on any line that contains certain very common characters in Devanagari.
Basically, if you take the following text: "Hindi     हिन्दि     Hindi     हिन्दि" ...it will render in pages as: "Hindi हिन्दि Hindi हिन्दि"
However, taking this text: "Handa     हन्द     Handa     हन्द" will display completely as intended.
The culprit seems to be combining characters that move around inside a word -- in the above example, the Devanagari short "i" vowel ि (which appears on the left side of the letter it's modifying). Another character that triggers this problem is the top-curl "r" − for example: "artha     अर्थ     artha     अर्थ" renders as "artha अर्थ artha अर्थ"
This tab-collapsing happens immediately upon the appearance of the character on the line, and tab spacing is fully restored the moment the offending character is deleted. When "show invisibles" is turned on, the tab character is visible in all cases. Setting explicit tab-stops or changing text alignment has no effect.
This is a pretty serious error, as it effectively prevents any use of tabs in Hindi, Marathi, and Sanskrit text. I suspect it's more pervasive than this, considering the similarity of other indic scripts.
Is this a known issue? Can we expect a fix? I and other academics at my university already have to use Pages for all of our significant Devanagari work, given the lack of support in any other full-featured word processor on Mac OS. Having this ubiquitous formatting bug complicates things.

Other major word processors with Devanagari support include Nisus Writer and OpenOffice. I tried OO and it does not seem to have the tab problem. Also TextEdit of course, but it has fewer features.
PS I see this bug in 10.6 on my machine. Did you just now discover it, or do you think it was not present in some earlier version of Pages?

If I open a PDF doc in a new tab and then try and close the tab with ctrl-w it will try and close all tabs unless I switch to another tab and back again.

Running Firefox beta and Adobe Acrobat 10. I've just been playing around and I set dom.ipc.plugins.enabled to true and now it closes the PDF document but not the tab. I have to do ctrl-w again to close the tab. However, leaving that set to true ruins the scroll mouse functionality as Acroread seems to want it all to itself.

Often with 2 or 3 tabs/websites open, the tab does not have the X on the right side to close it. I have to right clock and hit Close Tab. Seems random. How can I assure all tabs have the X?

The only way to close the x-less tabs is to right click and select Close tab. How do I tweak it so there are always X's? My workaround for this is to set up a smart playlist. I hope this is another one of the issues that gets cleard up when Apple eventually releases an 11.1.1 update.

The option in Tools/Options to show my windows and tabs from last time has suddenly stopped working and all tabs are deleted when Firefox is re-opened.

You can check for problems with the sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak files in the Firefox profile folder that store session data.

How do I stop ALL tabs from going dim when Firefox is not the active WINDOW?

I think I have read every single post about changing active tab colors, etc, etc. However, where I am frustrated seems to be a little different.
When Firefox 31 is not the active WINDOW the whole tab bar goes grey (just like the title bar) and the only tab I can read the title of is the active tab. I need to be able to see ALL tab names.
I don't want to use any add-ons. I just want a simple userChrome.css or about:config option. I have other UI complaints, but this is the only one I care enough about to do anything about. It is making me less efficient, confused, and frustrated.

Bookmark All Tabs removal

When you right click on a tab among many, their is an option bookmark all tabs.
How can I remove that?

Pages won't load if another tab is waiting for a slow script which is on the same website

If there is a tab that is waiting for slow script other tabs on the same website will be affected, even though they should not.
Test case:
1. Open a tab and run a slow script ( example: http://localhost/slow_script.php )
2. Open another tab and run a normal script ( example: http://localhost/normal_script.php )
What should happen:
The normal script will load, the slow one will be waiting for the server to finish.
What happens:
The normal script wont start loading until the slow one finishes.
Is there any way to work around this issue?

I have to add that the delay is not caused by the server itself. Running two web browsers or using multiple computers does the trick.
Using a simple sleep function to make the script take longer seems enough to reproduce this bug. There is no need to consume actual resources on the web server.

I need it to open in Quick Tab view (control Q). When users launch the script it will open a page with all the home pages visible. Thanks for any help you guys provide.

I did find some script that somewhat works, the position of the browser is messed up if I have other tabs open it will be added on, but I need it in a seperate browser, and I still need to change view to Quick Tab.
