Tab option in controls?

Can anyone please tell me how to activate the tab control within the tables spo that I can run through the rows with the help of the tab key?

Which table are you referring to? There are tables available on the VIEW panel that allow you to tab between columns. There are also tables you can add to your reports. These tables do not allow you to change individual values but allow you to specify the channels to display. When you create a user dialog box (SUD) you can also add a table. With this table you can use the arrow keys to move between entries.

Is there a way to bring back the "Open a New Tab" option via right-clicking on the Tab?

I just upgraded to latest version of Firefox (6.0). Yesterday it informed me that an upgrade to Firefox 5.(something) was available and asked if I wanted to upgrade. I went for it. However, I hadn't used it since then till today. Now when I opened it today it asked me if I wanted to upgrade to version 6.0. Without hesitation, I went for it too.
While this version looks nice, it feels a bit odd to use it. Previously whenever I wanted to open a new Tab, I right-clicked on any of the Tabs (active tab or any other Tab) and after right-clicking, it had the option to '''''Open a New Tab''''' along with few other options. Now there's no such option. There's the + button to open a new tab, but what if I want to open a link in a new tab by right-clicking on it? Similarly the option to Open in New Window is also missing.
Is there a way to bring back those previous Tab options/settings? If yes, how?
P.S. In my bookmark toolbar, when I click on a bookmark icon, it has the same options/settings as it previously had in the last version I used (last version I used was 3.something; while I'd upgraded to version 5.something I hadn't used it except for opening the browser when it asked me to upgrade to version 6.0). Options on right clicking the bookmark icon are:
Open
Open in a New Tab
Open in a New Window
New Bookmark...
New Folder...
New Separator
Cut
Copy
Paste
Delete
Properties

No. The Tab bar is a regular toolbar in current Firefox versions, so you get the normal right-click context menu of a toolbar if you right-click the tab bar.
You can double click on empty space on the tab bar to open a new tab if you do not want to use the new tab button. 
You can drag a link on that new tab button to open that link in a new tab. 
You can also drag the new tab button on another toolbar if you would like that better. 
Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout"

How do I get a favorite or bookmark to open in a new tab automatically, not in the one I am working in? The tab options/settings are unhelpful.

I have 2 laptops. Both have Firefox as my number one preference.
One computer, is set up correctly, If I am on a site, tap on a bookmark site, it will open in a new tab and not interfere with my current tab. It's wonderful.
The other Firefox, if I click a bookmark it will open in the CURRENT tab, changing the tab to the selected bookmark.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled FF, but that did not correct the issue. I have read the tab options and help desk, but that doesnt help either.
ANY HELP? :)

There is no built-in setting for redirecting a bookmark to a new tab.
Is it possible that the computer which does that has an add-on such as the Tab Mix Plus extension installed? TMP has a setting for that (Events > Tab Opening).

I am unable to open a new tab in Firefox 16.0.2 - clicking the + does noting and the "New Tab" option is greyed out.

NWBC no option "Access Control" - can't start working with GRC 10.0

I have installed GRC AC 10.0 and have followed the post-installation documentation. All seems to be fine so far.
But when I run NWBC, I do not get the Icon/Option "Access Control".
What can go wrong? My user has sap_all and sap_grac_all, so it shouldn't be the access rights...what else can I check?

But when I run transaction NWBC, the web-browser (Iexplorer) opens the HTML-NWBC, but I do not get the Icon/Option "Access Management". I see this option however on the screenshots of the documentation. And it seems to be the only way to work with the application - or can I work directly within SAP-GUI ?
I see however the Icons "Office", "Cross-Application Components", "Accounting", "Information Systems", "Tools" and I can well drill down into the submenus and use the fonctionality.

This issue can be caused by the Ask.com toolbar (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions)

Right click on a tab used to have a bookmark this tab option, now gone! why? and how do I get it back?

In FF 3x right-click on a tab to get menu with "bookmark this tab option". Gone in 4.0! Can I have it back please?

Thanks Tony! I will give it a day or two, having open in new tab at top IS more logical, just been using FF so long is natural to hit the second item. I might put "open in new window" 3rd or 4th so I don't do it by accident using the AO. Still annoying about the bookmark thing, but maybe I'll get used to it!

Change tabbing shortcut for controls

Is there a way to change the tabbing shortcut to the Enter key, instead of using the Tab key? And is it possible to set the tabbing order for controls?

I would advise against it as using the Tab key for navigation has been standardized for a long time. But you could use the Key Down? filter event in an event stucture to modify a keys behaviour. Specifically if someone hits the enter key pass 9 to Char and ASCII to VKey. You could also use this to disable the tab key.

Tab Order under Control Properties - Display Tab not working

At present I'm trying to order a couple of Input-Fields and Checkboxes for the Tab-Key. Therefor I tried to use the "Tab Order" Property in the Control Properties - Display Tab - Section: Layout - Tab Order.
In the SAP Library this property is described that way:
When user tabs through the controls of the component in runtime, the number indicating what place this control has in the tab order. Note that -1 removes the control from the tab order entirely and 0 indicates that it is highlighted according to its appearance in the component

The problem now is that VC is completely ignoring this property and just using the tab order in the way the (Input-) fields where created.
At present I don't see any opportunity to give my "Form view" any logical tab order.
Is there any workaround? Is it a bug? Is there something I'm doing wrong?

It seems that this tab order works only for few of the controls like pushbutton, radio button, checkbox, toggle button...
i too tried this in my model but it was not working for the input fields of other types.
regarding -1 -2 ... these values work normally as per their values here -1 -2 order functions just like 2 1.

Error in evaluations tab of a control

Hello Experts,
In the evaluations tab of a control, when we try to open activities Monitoring, Control Effectiveness (MO, CO) it is showing the error (as shown in screenshot).
But we are able to open activities related to control design and control self-assessment.
Could any one suggest what could be the issue.

Hi,
Go to your screen painter -> Click on the tab strip control ->In the bottom attributes , change the Tab title to 7 -> This will create two more tabs
Now click on the newly created tab push buttons -> Give text and Fct code ( if required )
if required
Create sub screens and drop it inside this two new tabs. eq ( sub_scr1 and sub_scr2)
In your PBO and PAI of the screen you will have CALL SUBSCREEN , add this 2 subscreens there.
or
Directly add the fields you required in the tab strip.

Why did they take away the "Open In New Tab"option in Top Sites, Bookmarks, and History? This very annoying.

Seriously - what could they have possibly been thinking? Mozilla, please tell us this was some kind of mistake. Accessing our bookmarks in FF-mobile is just plain bad as a user experience. And now without "Open In New Tab" we are supposed to drill down to our bookmarks for every tab we want to open? FF-mobile is almost useless without "Open In New Tab". Please restore "Open In New Tab" for bookmarks, thanks.

What happened to the "close tab" option in FILE in the toolbar?

i just downloaded ff 6.01.2. the "close tab" option does not appear in "FILE."

Some menu entries in the main menu bar are hidden if you use the mouse and only appear if you use the keyboard to open the menu (Bug 626825).
You can see the difference if you use Alt+F to open the File menu or other menus like the Edit menu (Alt+E) and Bookmarks menu (Alt+B) and compare that to what you see if you use the mouse to open the menu after you have made the menu bar visible by tapping Alt or by pressing F10.

Report Tab in Mitigation Control

Can anyone explain me the purpose/usage of Report Tab in Mitigration Control. I have browsed the forum but could not understand the actual need of this tab as I found different answers.

HI Raj,
Access Controls is used as a documental tool for Mitigating Controls, rather than a implementing tool, i.e. you apply the control against the role/user, but the actual application of the control is performed outside of Access Control. This may be realized by running a custom SAP report to monitor the usage of the risky functions within the ECC system etc.
Access Control allows you to document such reports against the Mitigation Control, so this is the purpose of the tab. Given that GRC 10.0 integrates AC and PC, Mitigating Controls is master data that is shared amongst the different GRC modules, so I get the feeling Process Controls might utilize the "Report" data and check if the reports are being monitored by the control monitor/s at the scheduled frequency etc.
