Tabbed browsing has stopped working

Only one tab at a time works. I have tried all the tab settings to no avail. I have downloaded the tab on left feature but that does not work either. v 3.6.18

What happens instead?
* Is everything going into one tab, or opening a new window?
* Is this from bookmarks, Links, particular urls like Google search results.
Check your options in... Tools > Options > Tabs

"safari web browser has stopped working" ... help?

So a number of months ago (5, I believe) Safari Web Browser crashed and I tried opening it and a message popped up that said:

+Safari Web Browser has stopped working+
+A problem caused the problem to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.+
Now up until the crash, I was extremely satisfied with Safari and it was my default internet browser. After I kept seeing this message when trying to start Safari, I decided to uninstall it and reinstall it, then tried repairing it several times. It kept showing the same message for a while so I decided to give up for a few months, so I tried again and the same thing happened. Once again I gave up and today I tried again when I updated my iTunes and that same message popped up and Safari didn't work.
So I decided to post here to see if someone can help me figure out and fix the problem since I prefer that browser to most and never had any problems with it until I froze it and it crashed that number of months ago.

I'm afraid I'm not familiar with Vista, but in XP the Safari preferences etc. are stored in this location:
C:\Documents and Settings\YourUsername\Application Data\Apple Computer\Safari\
If you know where the equivalent Vista location is, rename the Safari directory to be Safari_backup and then retry launching the application to see if one of the files in there is corrupt and causing Safari to crash.
If it does work after doing that, try moving the files one by one back from the Safari_backup directory to the newly created Safari directory, restarting Safari each time, until you find the problematic one.

The My Pictures folder is the defautl folder where the software gets all the files from so you can view and edit them. If you want to add other folders containing your media files from earlier imports, just click on File, Add folders and select the folder you want the software to manage. I would also suggest backing up your files to another device, if you have any.

Browser has Stopped working

Hello Blackberry,
Recenlty my browser has stoppe working. If I click on the browser icon nothing happens.
If I try and switch applications the phone states that your device dose not currently have any browser configuration service book entires. Please contact your service prodiver to enable the browser on your device.
The thing is I have just recently moved from Ireland to Canada and I am currently on an Irish provider, but I have not got the data plan and never have had a data plan. I access the browser through wi-fi connections. The wifi has always worked even when I arrived in Canada. now that I have been here for a week it has suddenly stopped.
I have trid the host routing table, taken the sim out, taken the battery out and tried rebooting it.
Is there anything I can do...help, please!!

Internet Browser has stopped working.

The browser on my blackberry has stopped loading anything and i can't get onto any websites, any advice?

Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.

My browser has stopped working

i was using the internet on my bb curve when it just cut off and i cant get back on to it at all. When i press the button it doesn't do anything at all. I have turned my phone off then on and even left it off for 8 hours and still joy. Any ideas on how to get it working again please?

Do you get any error message when you go to access your Browser?
Re-register your device on the network as shown in KB00510; do you get the registration message? Do you have entries listed in here? If you answer no to either of these questions then you will need to contact your mobile network carrier for investigation into this matter.
If you answer yes to both of these, then you will need to reinstall your device software. Backup your device data and follow the steps in KB11320; before you restore your data file, try launching your browser once more.

Safari Web Browser has stopped working.

Have been happily using Safari as my primary web browser, but now I repeatedly get this error message. I have trie repairing it and deleting/reinstalling to no avail. Really would like to get safari back as its so much better than IE/Firefox.

another oddity is that another user on the PC can use safari perfectly well.
Not sure what is causing it.

My favorite browser Safari (5.1.5 ) has stopped working. Yes I know is on a PC. But is been very good to me for a long time, untill about two months ago. I keep getting a pop up message saying "Safari has stopped working" I will close the pop up message and continue working but within a few minute, the message will pop up again. The browser opens up fast as always and runs fine but the message is a pain and annoying. I'm running Firefox now , but I want my Safari back . Please help.

I generated the problem report similar to the above screen shot " by way of IE 9 " but will not let me copy and paste the contents as a screen shot in reply to your post here . Copy to clipboard did not work either. I might be doing something wrong. Oh well.
By the way , the only difference is- The Problem Event Name of mine is not BEX. but rather : APPCRASH. Fault Module Name : JavaScriptCore.dll. Fault Module Version: 7534.55.2.1. The rest are very similar to the above screenshot. If you need more information then I guess I have to do it all manually. Please let me know. Thanks again.

The restore session has stopped working. It tries to load, but then gives an error message that the script is not working and will not actually show the previous tabs I had open.

I count on using the Firefox restore session feature. But it's stopped working. For the past couple of days, it hasn't worked a single time. (I haven't changed anything on my PC.) It just suddenly stopped working.
Now it gives me an error message that the script has stopped working. It gives me a couple of options. I'm not sure of the exact wording, but one option is to stop the script and the other is to keep trying. But the keep trying never works.
I have to stop the script, hence, the list with my previous tabs never comes up.

Which file is mentioned as the cause of that script error?<br />
Is that a file with a chrome protocol?

I get the "firefox has stopped working" message after closing browser

Hello.
My problem is that when I close the FireFox browser I get the "FireFox has stopped working" message. It's pretty annoying. I've read some other posts here that described a similar problem and have tried some of the suggestions in them including:
A clean install, a browser reset, running in safe mode, unchecking hardware acceleration, disabling extentions and plugins one at a time, uninstalling my antivirus (avast), rolling back to version 23.01 and checking run in compatibility mode that someone claimed helped them. None of this was effective.
It seems like after a computer restart the browser will be ok for 2-4 closings and then it will start with the message on every closing. Also, after I uninstalled avast it was good for 6 closings. Rolling back also gave me about 6 message free closings. But then the messages start and doesn't stop.
Is there anything else I can try? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

One thing is for sure, and that is if the only page i visit is the Google homepage (not logged in) or this site (mozilla forum), the problem does not occur, ever. I can't make it happen.
If i visit yahoo.com (not logged in) (or ighome.com, logged in), as examples, it happens every time.

Browser Install Fails, it says "Firefox has stopped working" and it does not install. I cant use your browser.

I had few issues with Mozzilla browser so i uninstalled it completely and tried to re install it again. But when i try to reinstall it , it does not install fully , it breaks half way and says, Firefox has stopped working. I cant install Firefox now. Can you help.

Try this instead:

*Start the installation with a double-click on the desktop icon
Make sure that your security software isn't causing problems.
Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.

Uninstall the Ask toolbar and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask toolbar and Firefox that prevents new tabs from being opened.

ITunes has stopped working when app tab it hit

When I plug in my iPad 4, that is running iSO 7.0.2, with windows, to iTunes and click on the apps tab, it immediately says " iTunes has stopped working" then it completely shuts down....I have removed and reinstalled several times and tried hitting do txt sync options as we'll....NOTHING is working !!!! You can't have Newsstand hidden in a folder.
