Tabbed Panel - Automatic Display?
I am using Tabbed Panels and found the auto-cycler code in an
earlier email. dumb question - how do i get rid of the start / stop
buttons and have the rotation start automatically?

As an FYI: Adobe discontinued developing the Spry framework last year. And Spry was removed from DW CC. You can keep using Spry if you wish, but most of us have switched to other solutions that work better in IE10 and Touch Screens.

Is there a way to make spry tabbed panels automatically

After the currently active tab is closed, can the previously acitve tab be automatically displayed?
After the currently active tab is closed, I don't want to see the tab on its right or on its left. I want to see the tab that was active before the closed one, whatever its position is on the tab strip.
Can that be achieved?My trackball has 4 buttons and a scroll wheel. Each of the 4 buttons is programmable. The 4 buttons are normally pre-programmed for single-click, double-click, drag and right-click by simply pressing on them
Each of the 4 buttons may be programmed to also have other functions. For example, I programmed "control/single-click" to produce a middle click. I could also have used "shift/single-click" or "alt/single-click" to produce the middle-click. Or I could have similarly programmed double-click or drag or right-click. The Kensington Expert Mouse is quite versatile ... once you get the hang of programming it.
I have had it for about 4 years and I had never had the need to program one of them until you told me about using a middle-click.

Spry Tabbed Panels Display Issue
Hi-
I'm having an issue which involves 3 tabbed panels. Each panel has an image in it. When the page loads the 3 tabbed panel images display "stacked" for a few seconds and then disappear showing the default panel once the page is fully loaded.
Is there any way I can have the page load just showing the default #1 panel - without showing the content in the 2nd and 3rd panels?
I would provide a URL but I do not have it on a public domain yet.

Spry Tabbed Panels does not work as I want
Sorry, but this is an utter NOOB question.
I tried to use a Gooey ment on my page, but it does not work as intended.

I assume it is related to the menu already on this page. Anyway, since this did not work, I tried to replace the Gooey menu with Spry Tabbed panels, but being an utter noob in this area, I have made some mistakes that the experts here can probably help solve easily. What happens:

but then go to the actual page and it looks like this:
Why do the tabbed panels not display at the top of the page next to the vertical menu, like it does in DW?

Turn off CSS. View > Style Rendering > un-tick Display Styles. You'll see an unstyled HTML page in Design View. But this won't effect styles in Live View or Preview.

Remembering which tabbed panel I left
I have a web page that uses several Spry tabbed panels to display different sub-sets of volunteers who have applied to volunteer at an airshow. Alongside each volunteer is a link to a page that allows an administrator to edit the volunteer information, that is the user could have started from any one of 4 tabs and gone to the same page to edit the volunteer info. When the edit is complete it returns to the original web page and opens the default tab, I'd like it to return to the original web page and open the tab it left. I have read http://foundationphp.com/tutorials/spry_url_utils.php and think I understand it, but before I can do that I need to pass the tab number from the original page to the edit page, and then when the edit is complete pass that back to the original page.
I think I know how to pass the tab number to the edit page - I'd add &tab=x to the link URL (where "x" is the tab number I'm leaving). The problem I'm having is figuring out how to access that parameter in the edit page and then send it back when the edit is complete.
To see what I mean look at www.hollisterairshow.com/login.php and use username "q" and password "q" without the quotes, this will take you to the Control Panel or "original web page" I referred to above. Look at any/all of the "Volunteer" tabs and you'll see they all provide a link to an "editvolunteer.php" page. When the edit is complete I'd like the user to be returned to the Control Panel and in the tab they were in.

I am not sure how to word my question and I hope that I am
explaining it correctly.
I am using a tab panel to display information from a Sql
database. Inside each tab is a dynamic table displaying some of the
database information. Inside the table, I have created a link to
send the user to another page where all the database information
for that record is displayed. When you click the link, it sends the
user to the page, but not the data. The link works on the open
default tab, but not in the other tabs. I am not sure why it is not
working. Any help or ideas on what the problem may be would be
helpful.

Embedded iFrame in Tabbed Panel loses ability to scroll when clicking between tabs.
I've created an iFrame within a Tabbed Panel to display content that scrolls independently. This works properly when the page is first loaded but if I switch between tabs and return to the original tab, the content is fixed within the frame. Zooming the browser window or reloading the page restores the scrolling ability. Example is below.

Is it possible to get one sliding panel to automatically display a web site?
I have a slinding panel widget with 6 content panes. One of the tabs is named "Online Help'. I would like the content pane for that tab to automattically display a form that is on a website.
The 'onclick' that is associated with the "Online Help" tab is calling the sliding panel number. If I repace it with an http address, the other panels continue to display but, that panel displays blank.
I have tried a CSS style tag for the panel that includes the http url in a background attribute. That is not working either.
I made a stab at spry:detailregion, but I don't know if a url can be a prameter in that element.
Does anyone have ideas on what I can try?

meileendoughertyWell, a url can be the contents of a data cell, but it will only give you a link, not the other website.
Although iframes are often considered tricky, I have not had bad luck with them. Put an iframe in your content cell, and use your other website as the source. You will have to give the iframe dimensions, or it will default to 'pretty small'.

I have added a repeat region on my dreamweaver template
I use Perch CMS as my management for staff to add new items for sale on this page
I have built a tabbed panels to list the item
On my CMS it allows me to press "add another" which then adds the tabbed panels again as a new item and the staff input the details
My problem is the first item works perfect and all tabbs work fine, each item after that doesn't have tabbs and shows all content as one whole block
I think it is to do with the ID and applies the java file only to item one, thats my guess.

You have only one constructor that makes one instance of the tabeed panels with an ID of TabbedPanels1
There are a couple of things that create the problem.
There can only be one ID with the same name in a document, thus the ID's of the TabbedPanels will need to change from TabbedPanels1 for the second and third instances to TabbedPanels2 and TabbedPanels3 (or similar) respectively.
There needs to be a constructor for each tabbed panels like

Remote Server doesn't display SPRY Tabbed Panel
I'm using DW CS4. I inserted a SPRY Tabbed Panel in the main page for navigation. The local development and testing server displays the Panel, but the remote server (Go Daddy) does not. All of the data from the panel is displayed in one log page without the tab feature.

I saw a couple of other posts for a slideshow error using SPRY in DW, but this seems to be different behavior. I don't get an error, rather the panel just doesn't display.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.I apologize. I found my answer.
Two required files (one .js and one .css) were not loaded into the right folder, so the page didn't have access to them. After re-locating the files, the Tabbed panel works just fine.

I have Spry Tabbed panels and all my content is suddenly displaying in the first, default tab. Also, the turquoise "Spry Tabbed Panels" is missing from the top of my widget. This has happened on three different pages so far, and all I have found is that I must insert a new tabbed panel. My <div> codes all match up, so I'm stumped. Any help would be really appreciated.
