Hi Experts,
The above mentioned error message is occurring while trying to change the specified table through application area MM.
Please guide me the path where condition tables for application area taxes are stored.

From se11's Delivery and Maintenance tab check out Data Browser/Table View Maint property. Make it without any restrictions.

The view is already maintained by SAP , why do u want to change that? it is SAP standard view right???I'm able to add entries without any problem.

I think ,this table's maintenance status is marked as display/maintenance allowed with restrictions on SE11. So, how I can display the this table from sm30 tr.code.(Note: I have only displaying authorization)

I am getting this error when I enter my table in SM30 and click on either -No Restrictions; -Enter conditions. (I already created Table Maint. for it.)
Error:
"View/table ZTABLE can only be displayed and maintained with restrictions"
I deleted and recreated but the error is still there. What could be the reason for the above error.

Try this..
Goto SE11 give the table name goto change mode
then click on DELIVERY MAINTANCE TAB
then select option data browser/table maintance allowed as 'DISPLAY?MAINTAINCE ALLOWED.

ADF: Read only user access to application role on BTFs

Hi,
My JDeveloper version is 11.1.1.5
I am trying to create read only users in my adf application. But I am unable to give read only permissions to the user on bounded task flows/ .jssf page which have editable tables and forms.
I have searched for the information, I did not find any solution.
Could some one please help me?

If you are using ADF BC, you can protect fields at EO level or protect the entire EO (check the security tab). The frontend will then render fields as read-only if your user is only allowed read permissions.
If you are not using ADF BC, you can implement a custom resource permission as described here (ignore the fact that this is for an entity, the principle remains the same) http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/adf/learnmore/76-insert-update-entity-protection-334421.pdf
You must then add an el expression to each fields readOnly attribute or you can implement a phaselistener that traverses all fields enclosed within a form and make them readonly.

Important Folder can only be accessed by dock

Somehow a folder decided to disappear from the regular directory heirarchy. I first noticed it missing when trying to access the folder from another computer. It is a fairly important folder, so luckily, on the computer thatit is located, I have it in my finder's dock. It's the only way I can access it. Everything seems to be working... nothing's completely gone.
I've tried to find out where it is by "Find", but it doesn't show up at all. I've tried dragging a jpg from the folder into my browser, but the location bar just shows "file://foldername/img.jpg"
Ok, after about 30 minutes, the folder appeared in the search window of find, and when I check the directories it's supposed to be in, it pops up after about 15 seconds.
What's going on? I don't want this happening again.

The Tray / side panel is called the Sidebar.
Exactly where is the lost folder supposed to be?
When you click on the folder's icon in the Sidebar, what folder opens in the Finder window?
While that window is open, from the Finder View menu, select Customize Toolbar.
Drag the Path button to the Toolbar, and click Done.
When you click on the Path icon, the path is displayed.

Can only choose one email application for sharing photos

In the iPhoto's 5 preferences pane there is a drop down list for choosing the email program you prefer when sharing photos using email. There is a list of 4 applications in the drop down list. "American Online" is selected. When I click on the list to select a new program, the list goes immediately dim and I cannot change the email program. If I close the preferences dialog and reopen it then the list is reactivated but I still cannot change it without it going dim.
Is there an iPhoto pref file that I can delete that will reset the preferences? Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

Hi there,
There is a preference file you can delete and your OS will generate a new one. The drawback, the plist file also contains your albums, etc etc etc. You won't lose any of your photos but you will lose some of the renaming, albums etc, basically what you have done to personalize iPhoto library...
Thr problem you're talking abou has been mentioned before in this forum. I don't know if it is a software issue or an OS issue, and I do not recall if there was a fix...
The easiest way to find the preference list is to open Macintosh HD > username > LIbrary... you can just do a search for 'iphoto' from this window, the file will be named com.apple.iphoto.plist - I would drag file to desktop and open iPhoto and see if it helps with your email issues, if not you can drag back to orginal location, etc...
Another thing you can try, create another user, open iPhoto and see if same email issues occur, if it does, than the problem is with iPhoto application, if not than it COULD be the preference file...
EDITED: if you cannot fix your email problems, simply use the 'export' function, save to desktop and you should be able to find and attach the photo to any of your preferred mail clients...

How to make single page can only be accessed by one user at the same time

While a user is accessing a page and modifying the data in this page. Other users are blocked for this page. How can it be realized?
Any ideas or help are appreciated.

So means there are n number of users and you want that if any one of them accessing this page then nobody else will have access to that page.
-> Use flag in DB and whenever user accessing that page set the flag 1 after login and check condition while other user login.
-> After logout back to 0.

Time Capsule visible as wifi but hard drive can only be accessed via ethernet.

Time Capsule shows up as WiFi in Airport menu bar but does not show up in Airport Utility. Hard drive is accessible via ethernet connection but not by wireless.
How can I reset the TC or reload a saved configuration?

Yes, with the following warnings.
1. A 1TB TC is a Gen3 or earlier and can die at a moments notice.. So backup is essential.
2. A Gen1 or 2 is slow.. even over ethernet they were processor bound and so transfer speeds are not great.. a USB2 plugged into the computer will be faster. Gen3 is about 50% better as the processor was upgraded by 50% speed.
3. TC has no built in backup.. TM cannot backup network drives.
4. TC is designed to spin up slowly and spin down quickly.. you will have issues with itunes constantly losing the library.
5. You cannot use USB to the TC.. it is a network drive. If you want to use USB directly on the computer buy a USB drive.. but buy as fast a drive as your Mac supports.. Thunderbolt>USB3>FW800>USB2
USB3 is cheap and very good.. but the port is only from 2012 so check your Mac specs.
Thunderbolt whilst being super fantastic and around since 2011, has a bank account clearing price although there are Thunderbolt to esata converters.. for around $160. esata falls between usb3 and fw800.
FW800 from WD is no better than USB2 but other brands it can be twice the speed of usb2.
USB2 is the worst. But still faster than a TC.

I have a laptop and PC and Apple TV can only be accessed or reconised on the laptop. Both have the same ID

The strange thing is that on both itunes programs it shows the other library on the left hand toolbar and it will let me play songs from either on both systems.
Just not Apple TV, it only works with the laptop.

try a reset, hold down the home/powr button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up. If that doesn't work then contact your phone carrier.

Time Capsule... can it be accessed when traveling?

I bought the TIME CAPSULE a couple of days ago for two purposes and we picked this one for ONE MAJOR CAPABILITY that we need and I can't get it to work and have now been told that it WILL NOT DO THIS :
     1. We needed a new wireless modem, ours is about 6 years old, we use our xbox for online gaming, we all have iphones ( 4 people), we have two ipads, and and mac book. All of these apple devices obviously use the wifi and we also bought our two boys HP computers for Christmas, so once they are set up will also be using the wifi.
          I was told that the time capsule could withstand a large number of devices "pulling" on it's wifi and that they send out two different "networks" one that the iphones and ipads would sign on to the one that was better for phones and tablets and that the Mac Book and other computers and the xbox would sign onto the other one and that this is one of the reasons that it can handle so many devices....
     2. We need a large hard drive to take the photos, movies, songs, etc. off of my Mac Book, our phones, other smaller HDs (250/500gb) and store them to free up space on our devices so that they can move faster and just to have them backed up....
WE NEED IT TO BE ACCESSIBLE FOR OTHER LOCATIONS ( when we are traveling for world). We were told that we could access the files the pics, song, or movies from anywhere as long as we could get onto the Internet. My husband just deployed, instead of taking several small hard drives with him, he thought I would have this working and that he would be able to access them. He wants to be able to watch the movies during his downtime. We were told by the sales person that this would be no problem, easy. That we could sign on to the time capsule from the Internet. THIS IS NOT WORKING... I went back to the store and was told by another sales person that this IS NOT POSSIBLE and that it is mainly used for back ups and can only be accessed by the devices on the actual network in the house.... Uggg, I am sooo aggravated because I am trying to get all of this set up.
So, the sales person told me to just by the AIRPORT EXTREME ( because it will do all the things we need in a modem) and to buy the separate 3T HARDRIVE made by another brand but is made for this type of use and actually as an "APP" as well that can be download on mobile devices and the file that are on it can be accessed from anywhere in the world with the right password.
CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHICH IS MORE ACCURATE?? PLEASE AND SOON. I'D LIKE TO START GETTING FILES UPLOADED ASAP SO THAT MY HUSBAND WHO IS DEPLOYED CAN ENJOY THAT SMALL PIECE OF HOME.
I already have the TIME CAPSULE hooked up and it is working fine as a modem and it is doing the "TIME MACHINE BACK UPS" but I am not able to up load the pics and movies and I am also not able to figure out how to make it accessible to my husband over the Internet. I am ready to take it down.... I have already bought the AIRPORT EXTREME and the other 3T HARDRIVE.
I just need to know what to do.... and I will return which ever items cannot do what I need. I am not a computer expert and I don't understand all of the "computer lingo" that you guys are using on here. I am not completely stupid though and I do know the basics and also how to set up the stuff. I have a very good back ground in computer uses and software and a little bit of knowledge on LAN and setting them up.
If someone could please advise me of the best decision or even if the TIME CAPSULE even really has the capability of being accessed from another location I would greatly appreciate it.

Well here is the issue, as I said, my husband is deployed and he is the one that will be trying to access it. I have the mac book here with me. He has an iphone,ipad, and a windows based laptop with him... Is there a way for him to access it with these devices, to include the windows laptop?
If all of this works can I load pics and movies on it and him be able to access them and then watch the movies?
