  • Table entry in transport request

    Hi,
how to find out by which transport request a table entry was transported?
       Thanks and regards, Marina

    Hi,
    check this
    1. Go to the table <b>E071K</b> in se16
    2. give objectname as your table name
    3. Get your table entry for which u want to get the transport request
    4. get the combination of key fields contents for that entry
For ex:  if the entry is like : 011,2119,48.5,EUR
if first 2 fields are key fields then get  <b>0112119</b>
5.entry this in the TABKEY field with * ( 0112119*)
    6. then get the list...here  u will get the transport request for your entry
Please let me know if i am not clear

  • Queries about SLD transport

    Hi Forum,
want to know something about SLD transport,
    1. If i transport a TS from one SLD to another, will it also automatically transport all products and software components refered by this TS,
    2. If the products and Software component refered by this TS, are already present in the second SLD, will it update the software components,
    3. If i transport a software component, that is already present in the other SLD, will it update it (overwrite it),
    pls help

    Hi,
    1. If i transport a TS from one SLD to another, will it also automatically transport all products and software components refered by this TS,
    >
Irrespective of whether you have a Common SLD or Different SLD's , you need not create the SWCV manually in your SLD. When you transport the SWCV and import it into your new IR, the corresponding entries will happen in SLD.
In CMS transport, you could select the individual object or namesapce or all software component to be transported.

In your source system,. say tool--> Export --> using file system and then select your SWCV. The exported TPZ file wll be placed in the EXPORT directory of your server.
Now, copy this TPZ file into the import directory of your new server and then tolls --> import.
For the export and import directories, XI Homepage --> Administration --> General Information.,
    2. If the products and Software component refered by this TS, are already present in the second SLD,
will it update the software components
---> Hi yes it will update the existing Software component refered by TS. No need to create another one.
    While transporting the modified object
Refer CMS links mentioned above. Here you could select the individual object or namesapce or all software component to be transported.
    3. If i transport a software component, that is already present in the other SLD, will it update it
    (overwrite it),
--> It depends upon the object you are transporting. For e.g if you have transported the whole software component then the existing will be overwrite. Or if you add individual object or namspace then only that part will be overwritten.
Here you have option in CMS transport to mentioned, if you wish to delete any object, then jsut delete it from development SDL i.r. IR or ID and transport deleted object to Qu. you will get that option in CMS.

  • Update SAP table w/o transport request

    Hi
We want to update entries in table (tcode: OPDA).
There are a lot of updates every week, and we want to make the updates directly in the production system, but because of the delivery class of the table I need to transport changes from development to production.
Can there be any good solution to solve this, so we can make the changes directly in prod?
OPDA is the transaction to the view V_TCYTM (TCYTM, T001W, T006, T006A).

    Hello,
I have the same problem; we have a table that can be maintained in production and test environment without being asked to transport the changes (It's a customer spezific 'Z' table). But as soon as it comes to our development system, you have no chance to make any change without a transport. Which is a problem because we like to have this table records system specific.
In SOBJ the table is set as 'Automatic transport'
    Object type is 'S'
    Category = APPL
    Adjustment = Automatically adjustable
    Client specific is ticked
    Translation relevant is ticked
    Contains addr is unticked
in SE11 the table is set as 'A' application table and display/maintenance allowed.
My plan was to set the table to no transport required in SOBJ, but it's automatically adjusted to 'Automatic transport' as soon as I try to do the switch. (same for any other available settings)
The system returns me below message:
The flag for the transport link was corrected
    Message no. OZ120
    Diagnosis
The transport link flag does not agree with the extended view/table maintenance settings.
    System Response
    The flag is corrected.
Would it really help if I tick the current settings and transport the SOBJ change through to our production system, because I have ticked it and tested in our development system but was still prompted to provide a transport ID, so I do not think this will solve my problem.
    Thank you

  • Table Maintenance View Transport Request

    Hello everybody,
I need to use the table maintenance view for a customizing table without prompting for transport request is there a way to do this????, the customizing table is a Z table, the table was defined before like this because of the data in it, thanks in advance.
    Regards

    Hi Julio,
Sure: use SE11 for the Z-table, in menu Utilities->Table Maintenance generator and switch off the recording routine option.

  • Include table entries into Transport Request manually @ SM31

    Hi All,
I have an issues reg table maintenance at SM31.
We have a Z Table and I can add entries at SM31 to that table. But:
System has not asked Transport request while saving the data (after additions to the table)
Option to include in Transport Request manually is not available @ menu -> Edit -> Transport -> Include in request. Include in Request is not highlighted to select here.
Pls help me the process to add my table entries into a Transport Request.
    Thank you
    Chandu

    Hi,
seems like your table is defined as Application table (master and transaction data).
    Check SE11 to be sure
Database table: enter name > Display > Delivery & Maintenance
Delivery Class > is this A?
If so then there is no transport and it can be maintained in all systems.
You could try if required to create manual transport via SE01.
    Programm ID: R3TR
    Object: TDAT
    Objectname: your table name

  • Table name for transport objects ?

    Hello,
I  would like to know the name of 1 or few tables where we can found the different BW objects (ODS, Charac, InfoSource...) + user name + package ($tmp, Zxxx, ...) + eventually the transport order nb.
I would like to have this (these) table(s) to check if all my objects are in a Zxxx package and not $TMP one...
    Could anybody help me?
    Thx in advance!
    P@sc.

Local objects ($TMP) do not get captured in a transport until you change the development package to something that's transportable.
An easy way to ensure that you have all the objects you need in your transport is to use the Transport Connection feature in the Workbench.  Drag over your data targets, etc., let it collect what you need and then change the Display to "list" format and go down the list to see which are in a transport and which still have $TMP as the development package.  You can see this from that screen if you expand the screen out (all the way to the right) and look at one of the last columns, Package.  This will show you if you still have local $TMP objects that need their package changed to capture in the transport.
    Hope this helps!

  • Table Maintenance: Manual Transport for Entries in Customizing Table

    Dear forum,
i'm facing a tricky problem at the moment. My customer wants the maintain a customizing table, but he does not want to transport the entries automatically (don't ask me for the reason), but manually.
The online help tells me, that this can be done.
In the SE11 i chose untilities -> table maintenance generator and for the subscreen "dialog data transport details" i chose "no or user, recording routine".
Continuing wiht the SE11 i chose untilities -> table maintenance generator -> environment -> maintenance objects -> transport "manual transport".
In the SE54 i created the events 10, 11 and 12 with the recommended coding from the online help.
But when i start the Maintenance via SM30 the points in the menue table view -> transport or edit -> transport are not active.
The function group does not include any generated statuses to activate the menue-points. What is missing toi get the popup, that asks me for the transport number?
Can somebody help me out or tried this before?
    With kindly Regards,
    Robert

    wrong!
    the online documentation says:
    Manual transport
The object maintenance transaction offers a manual link to transports. You can branch to it by selecting the Transport menu option. In the transport session, you can then select objects to place them in a Change request. A special transport program may be available instead of the menu option Transport, to place the object in a change request. The setting Manual transport means that changes to the object are not automatically recorded. If the maintenance transaction offers an automatic transport link, in addition to the manual one, you should select the setting Automatic transport.
What has to be done to realise it except creating the events?

  • Table that stores Transport Request Details

    Hi SDN Gurus,
Is there any table that stores all the details of all the transports in Import Queue (STMS). I am mainly interested in import time and method execution time of the transport. I need to write an ABAP program that for calculating the time for mass migrating all the transports in the queue.
i looked at the tables E070, E071 and some others but din't get the required info.
Any help will be rewarded with points.
    Thanks

Here is some correction to what i said. i got some information like the transport number, owner of the transport, target system and the IMPORT time of the request from the table E070. i guess all i need now is to find the time at which the transport is completed (Method Execution time) so i can calculate the time it took for transport.
    Thanks
