Table control for equipment number in me51n

There is a field for equipment number in me51n for entering a single value , i have to modify that screen by giving a table control so that multiple values can be entered . How do i do that ?

the serial numbers to a delivery are found in the SER01 and to find the link between serial number and delivery you need the OBJK table. Here you can find the correspondent equipment.
If you are looking for serial numbers for a production order these can found in the SER05.
SER00 Generic table for serial numbers
SER01 Serial numbers assigned to a delivery
SER02 Serial numbers assigned to a guarentee
SER03 Serial numbers assigned to a material document
SER04 Serial numbers assigned to an inspection lot
SER05 Serial numbers for a production order
SER06 Serial numbers for Handling Units
SER07 Serial numbers for Stocktaking
SER08 serial numbers for Orders (SD)
The assignment of serial numbers to a production order can be done either via transaction CO02 or at the latest when the GR from Production is made.

Background processing is not possible using call transaction method.
You can create an executable program which can have CALL TRANSACTION BDC code. And this can be run in background.
What do you exactly mean by Error handling for Items in table control. Can you give some more details.

I am using ZXPADU02.
The FM's suggested don't work because the user enters a compensation value at runtime and when user clicks 'save' I need to pick this value up. The FM's pick up existing absence records but I need the ones being created at runtime.

Issue with number of lines in Table control for an web transaction in ITS

Hi,
We have acustom web transaction ZC03 where we have used table controls. Recently a kernal patch has been installed and after that the number of lines appearing in table control has got changed. Earlier table control was coming with 5 lines and presently its coming with 3 lines. Can you please help me to fix the issue.
The code used in HTML template for table controi is given below:

`SAP_DynproLayerEnd()`
I have tried other alternatives like `SAP_DynproTableControl("TC_TIME1")`, `D_TableControl("TC_TIME1') but did n't get any fruitful result also.

Problem in the BDC Table Control for the T.Code VA01

Hi,
I faced probelm in the BDC of the VA01. In the Table Control
the records are entered upto 12 line items. after 13th line item overwrites the first record. How to solve the Problem.

Problem in bdc for table control for line items

Hi experts,
I am runnig a bdc for ME52.
i am just entering PR number, in the second screen i have got all the line items. I need to select these line item 10 and double click or hit enter, it takes me to screen 3, there im just checking a checkbox and saving.
Again i need to select the line item 20 and double click or hit enter. again the same process.
Again repeat for all the line items.
But my problem is it is updating everytime for only line item 10. for line item 20 and others it say "no chnge in the data".

Table relating fields Equipment number and grouping2.

hi all,
i m making a report for T-code 'IE03' and i have to display grouping2(FGRU2) and its description in output with respect to Equipment number(EQUNR), but problem is that i m not getting the table relating to both fields. can anyone please help me as soon as possible plz.?
i have these fields in ITAB, so if i get any relation from grouping2 then our problem will be solved.

Hi.
itob is database view.
tcf13 is tras.Table.
efhm is Structure.
You cannot select data from a structure.
A structure / work area contains data only at the run-time.
You can select data from views and tables.
The data you need to select will be in Database tables. All you need to do
is to find those table and select from there.

BDC- Inconsistancy in table control for t-code MR21

Hi all,
We are facing inconsistency in the table control (number of line items) for t-code MR21 in normal transaction screen and BDC screen.
In normal transaction run (MR21) we can see 12 line entries.
But for the same t-code while processing of a session created by BDC recording we can see only 9 entries.
Because of the mismatch in the lines, there will be a gap of 3 blank lines.
Kindly provide any input to solve the issue.

You will have to use the OPTIONS addition of CALL TRANSACTION to set the default screen size
data: t_ctu type ctu_params.
t_ctu-defsize = 'X'.
t_ctu-dismode = 'N' . " Mode
t_ctu-upmode = 'S' " Update
call transaction 'MR21' using bdcdata options form t_ctu messages into t_messages.

How to find dynamic value(screen value) in table control for current row .

hi to all,
i used table control in my screen. for column no 2 field i was used serrch help. and for column number 3 i used a dynamic help.
in change mode you can change any row for table control.
when i was using search help for a row which was already entered in column no 3 i cannot get any value.
how i can get value of row no 3 and column no 2 value.
