Table displays incorrect value in coverted PDF
I converted a microsoft word document to a PDF to send to a client, after converting the values within one of the tables are not displaying correctly.
In the table, every value is set to " !L2 Is Not In Table " is there a known solution to this?
Thank You
Hi,
You have to pass 'EKKO' and 'EKPO' i.e in caps to the exporting parameter I_STRUCTURE_NAME of the function module
'REUSE_ALV_FIELDCATALOG_MERGE'.
I think this would work, if not pls let me know.
Thanks,
Radhika

Exception Aggregation (Average) displaying incorrect values after EHP1 Upgr
Hi All,
Exception Aggregation (Average) displaying incorrect values after EHP1 Upgrade in our BW system
We have recently upgraded the system to EHP1. After the upgrade some of the queries where we are using Exception Aggregation (Average) started giving the incorrect values.
Eg. We are displaying three Key Figures KF1, KF2 and KF3 (=KF1 %A KF2) against Store Hierarchy. In KF3 we are using Exception Aggregation (Average) on a characteristic 0PLANT.
There are 14 rows against 0PLANT and out of those 2 rows are blank for KF1, so for KF3. When it is calculating the average of these key figures its dividing the total value by 12 instead of 14 which is not correct in our case. Earlier it was dividing the total by 14.
So in this case 'Average' and "Average of all values <>0" are behaving the same way.
Kindly provide some inputs on this.
Best Regards,
Sachin Verma
+44 7506740018Hi,
Thanks for viewing the thread. And happy to let you know that the issue was resolved.
The solution was:
Two formulas (local) were created, one including the formula variable with replacement path for ZD1, with exception aggregation on ZD1, and the other with formula variable with replacement path for ZD2, with exception aggregation on ZD2. Both these formulas are hidden.
Another formula (local) was created for u2018time takenu2019 = formula with ZD1 u2013 formula with ZD2, with exception aggregation total on u2018ZDOCNOu2019.
For the second instance, when one requires exception aggregation on records that has multiple values for keys, a nesting of formulas can be done displaying only the ones required.
For e.g. a formula with exception aggregation on say characteristic u2018item no.u2019 can be hidden, and included in another formula for exception aggregation on characteristic u2018document no.u2019. This is a typical case where one can achieve calculation before aggregation for a calculated key figure, formula or a counter.
Hope it might help someone, and saves time and effort for a similar issue posted.
Also would like to keep this thread open for exploring better solutions.

Query with a condition - Overall results row displays incorrect value
Hi All,
I have a bw query with top 40 conditions. However, The Overall Result Row Figures Do Not Equal The Sum of the Column Rows.
Although the top condition is activated, the overall result still displays the overall result of the whole report.
I have 3 columns in the report
Selected Period
Prior Period and
Variance
The formula for variance is (Selected Period/Prior Period)-1.
Does anyone have an idea to fix this?
Thank you so much in advance.
Have a great day!Hi Gaurav,
Thank you so much for your reply, however this does not solve fully the issue.
Changing the properties to "Summation" will indeed provide me with the correct sum for the "selected period" and "Prior Period." However what I need in the Overall Result Row for the "Variance" column is not the total but instead the value when the total of Selected Period is divided by Prior Period then minus 1.
Overall Variance = (Overall Selected Period/Overall Prior Period)-1
Do you know a way to make this possible.
Thank you so much. -

Hi
Im running DW 8 on CS2. Some of my DW pages using tables
display incorrectly, they spread across to completely fill the
screen space. Sometimes zooming out then back in again makes the
page display correctly, but usually this does not work.
Is this because Im running an old version? Or am I doing
something fundamentally wrong?russell van gravy wrote:

You have at least one colspan=2 that does not reflect the
structure of
the page. At least I think so....
<td colspan="2" valign="top"
class="bottommain"> <br />
It is very difficult to analyze this page because of the
table
structure. Rowspans and colspans are usually trouble if you
try to edit
the table and fail to adjust them properly. I don't imagine
this is any
easier in a template. Using a series of simpler "stacked"
tables (i.e.,
a vertical series of tables) is a better method if you find
yourself
resorting to rowspans and/or colspans. I did not try to
diagnose your
problem because I find tables with rowpans and colspans very
difficult
to fathom.
Also, you are using non-breaking spaces for visual formating,
and that
is usually a bad idea, since a viewer may override your text
sizes, and
the non-breaking space will be sensitive to that and may
distort your
layout if you were depending on their being a certain size.
You also
have many, many styles and nested styles with unrevealing
names which
does not help with debugging. You are also using CSS styles
defined on
the page as well as external stylesheets that are referenced
in the
midst of all of the in-page style definitions. It would be
many hours of
work to follow the cumulative effect of this frenzy of style
declarations.
Which all a way of saying I have no idea why your page
displays oddly in
DW. When I opened it I got this error message:
Line 514 Col 20 : Closed a <img> tag that was left
unclosed.
DW fixed that, but it doesn't seem to be the cause of your
problems.
Start over. Do some planning. Decide what styles you will
need, what
they will do in terms of the structure of your page and give
them
descriptive names. Decide if they belong in an external
stylesheet or
should be defined on the page. Plan your table structure on
paper first.
If you get to a point where you will need a rowspan or a
colspan, close
that table and start a new one.
I'm afraid that's the best I can do. I am not motivated to
analyze a
page that seems to haphazardly put together, sorry.

Hai all,
I am having an ALV table in which I want to display Requisition number by default using a value which i generated randomly and it is stored in a variable.

Is it possible??
Kindly give some suggestions.
Thanks in Advance,

I noticed recently that the "storage" under "about this mac" is displaying incorrectly. It doesn't show the correct values for my photos, videos, and audio files. It classifies this data under "other". I have been searching all over the internet, I went to the Apple genius bar yesterday and they recommended I re-install OSX. I did and it still shows up incorrectly. They were baffled, said they never really came across this issue. I have tried re-indexing spotlight, that didn't seem to help.
The amount of storage used IS correct. It just doesn't show up under the correct categories in storage, under about this mac. Also, the computer seems to work fine. No real issues. It's a mid 2012 MBP. 500gb hard drive. Most recent OSX is installed.
I DO NOT think it is local snapshots, cause my backups category is small and the amount of space used and free is correct. I have downloaded omnidisk sweeper to confirm this.
I have seen a few posts on here and around the web referring to this, but no real answers. I have also reviewed Pondini's info on this to no avail.
Does anyone have any ideas?!?!Also,
I had installed a version of parallels with windows 7, but deleted it. Would parallels be causing my computer to index incorrectly? I I used appcleaner to delete all the parallels files so I do not have it anymore. -

Creating fieldcatalogs manually is one of the major error sources in ALV programming.
There is hardly any reason why NOT to use the standard-fm LVC_FIELDCATALOG_MERGE in order to create a proper fieldcatalog.
If you need some modification of the standard fieldcatalog (e.g. renaming of columns, etc.) just do your post-processing after calling the fm.

Read integer values from spreadsheet and display the values in a table
Hi all,
I have integer values to read from a spreadsheet and display them in a table. I am using 'Read from spreadsheet file' in 'integer' mode. I would like to display these values in a table. The problem is that the table takes only 2d-array of string as input but not integer.
It works fine if I change the mode of 'Read from spreadsheet file' from 'integer' to 'string' but I want to read integers and have to use the integer values for further calculations. Please give any suggestions on displaying integers to a table.
Thank you.

Hi,
We have some ColdFusion pages which output PDFs of some HTML tables (CF does this by using <embed type="application/pdf">). It seems to display correctly in a range of browsers, except Firefox with Adobe Reader add-on v10.1.2.45. It works on the same computer if PDF is downloaded to desktop and viewed with Acrobat Reader, and works in Firefox on another computer with a different version of the reader add-on.
The display error is this - the PDFs contain tables, some of which run off the right side of the page and appear on the left side of the next page.
Occuring in Windows XP Pro, Firefox v10.0.2 with Adobe Reader add-on v10.1.2.45.
ColdFusion version is 9.
Has anyone had similar issues?
Thanks
TOur searches turned up the same information, and it apparently is related to some DRM tool, per some suggestions. We were unable to determine where this would have come from. Our images are pushed out with fairly limited amounts of software beyond Office and a few FOSS tools.

Why PDF's with transparency display incorrectly?
Hi everybody
I used this script ( http://www.adobe.com/devnet/digitalpublishingsuite/articles/dps-pdf-to-indesign.html ) to create a magazine based on pdfs but I have a big problem.
The imported pdfs with trasparent elements display incorrectly but only in the vertical position as you can see in the images, in the horizontal and menu, display correctly.
I don't have control of the pdfs because the publisher send it already ready.
I used the v.22 for this pubblication because I can't update the app now but I installed the latest DPS tools.
Thanks in advance for help.I know this is an old thread but i'd like to answer because it'll be helpful for someone looking for answers like I was today ;-)
This is an expected behavior for a PDF article. PDF Articles only supports transparency effects such as opacity and multiply, blending modes are not supported. However the same content if uploaded as a PNG/JPEG article should work fine.
It's also documented in this best practices document here Digital Publishing Suite Help | Best practices for creating overlays -
Float value displaying incorrectly in Matrix
Hi,
I am working with a Matrix that uses a Data Table as a Data Source.
The Data Table is populated with a query that combines rows from the AP Invoice and AP Credit Notes tables.
The matrix columns all appear to be binding correctly to their respective columns in the Data Table.
The values from the Data Table appear as expected in the Matrix except the open document value (which is a formula in the Data Table source query which subtracts PaidToDate from DocTotal).
Any ideas or advice on what could be causing this value to appear incorrect would be appreciated.
Regards,
SeanHi Petr,
I have tried as you suggested but the results are still appearing incorrectly. The link below is a screenshot hosted on imageshack that illustrates the issue. As you can see the rest of the columns are binding as expected and it is only the "Amount to Pay" column that is not
[Screenshot of issue|http://img232.imageshack.us/img232/3784/uiissue.jpg]
string BaseQuery = @"

BUG: Info panel displays incorrect Hue values
Recently, I've been doing a lot of work with color in Fireworks and came across the following bug, which appears to be a longstanding issue within the application. Rather than keeping it to myself, I figured I'd post it here in addition to submitting a bug report with Adobe. So here it is...
Hue values displayed within the Info panel (in HSB mode) do not consistently match the values displayed in the Color Mixer panel—including basic colors such as pure Yellow, Cyan, and Magenta. The values are 1 degree off—most often below the Color Mixer value, but sometimes above (as with Magenta). This holds true whether using with the Eyedropper tool or the Color Picker swatches eyedropper, and whether sampling from the canvas or from swatches.
For example, the following inconsistencies were observed when sampling the centermost horizontal strip within CS6's default Color Cubes swatches picker. Note that over 50% of these colors are affected by the issue.
The Color Mixer seems to display the correct values, while the Info panel's values appear to be incorrect. Note that this issue affects the HSB mode only; the RGB and Hex values are consistent between both panels.
This bug has been observed in Fireworks CS6, Fireworks CS5.1 and Fireworks 8 on Mac OS 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard).
Here's the bug report submitted for this issue:
Product name: Fireworks
Product Version: 12.0.0.236
Product Language: English
Your operating system: Mac OS 10.6.8 (Intel-based)
******BUG******
Concise problem statement: The Info panel displays incorrect Hue values for many colors—including pure Yellow, Cyan, and Magenta. The Hue values are usually 1 degree below the value displayed in the Color Mixer panel (e.g., 59 instead of 60 for Yellow) but sometimes 1 degree above (e.g., 301 instead of 300 for Magenta). This is true whether using the Eyedropper tool or the Color Picker swatches eyedropper, and whether sampling from the canvas or from swatches.
Steps to reproduce bug:
In an open Fireworks document, open the Info, Color Mixer, and Swatches panels. Within the Color Mixer and Info panels, set the color mode to HSB.
Draw a Rectangle and set its fill to Yellow (#FFFF00) using the Color Picker.
Observe the Hue values displayed in the Color Mixer and Info panels.
Select the Eyedropper (I) tool, and sample the rectangle's fill color. Again, observe the Hue values displayed in both the Color Mixer and Info panels.
Results: In both steps 3 and 4, the Hue value for pure Yellow (#ffff00) appears as 60 degrees in the Color Mixer panel but 59 degrees in the Info panel.
Expected results: The Hue for pure Yellow (#ffff00) should appear as 60 degrees in both panels.
Note that this issue affects the Info panel's HSB mode only; the RGB and Hex values are consistent between panels. Also note that this bug affects over 50% of the "pure" hues within CS6's Color Cubes swatches palette. For more info, see the following forum post:

This bug has been observed in Fireworks CS6, CS5.1 and FW8 on Mac OS 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard).I haven't done anything other than add my footage to the timeline. I have 2 layers (1 targa seq and 1 png seq). As I move my mouse from the Timeline to the Comp Panel, the color values flash for a split second and go away. If I press Opt+1 (2, 3, and 4) the Info Panel displays the color for that one pixel but the values go blank as soon as I move my mouse. This happens in the Comp Panel mostly. If I open a Footage or Layer Panel, sometimes the values show, sometimes not. Never had this issue in previous versions.

Listbox displaying dynamic values in table control
Hi Experts,
The requirement that I have is that there are two columns in an internal table out of which second one is a listbox.
There is a need of displaying dynamic values in a row in a listbox according to value entered in first column of the same row, not affecting the listbox values in other rows.
I am using VRM_SET_VALUES for populating listbox, but it results in populating the listbox in all other rows also.
Please help.
Thanks,
GarimaHi Thanks for the link..
But my problem is something else.
I want the same listbox of a column in a table control to show me different values in different rows on the basis of value in another column .
