Table for active RFCs

Hi All,
Could you help me identify a table that would contain the details of Remote Function Calls that are active at a given point in time. Is there any such table that contains the names of the Remote Enabled Function modules that are running in the R/3 system.
Alternatively, is there a function module that can be used to check whether a RFC is under execution.

Tha table that you mentioned (RFCDES) contains the details of destinations of Remote Function Calls. This can be maintained in TCode SM59.
However, what I am looking for is a table that would only contain the SAP Remote Enabled Function Modules which are being executed at a given point of time.
My requirement is as follows.
An external system (Middleware) calls SAP RFC to post some data. Middleware has more than one server and thus more than one message can come simultaneously even without a single second's delay. This is causing some problem in the SAP processes. I want to introduce a time delay to the called RFC if the system finds another intsance of the RFC active at the same time.

Hi,
I have a BW, CRM 5.0 & ECC 6.0 instances.. And I have created new users in all the systems with SAP_ALL permissions. After successfull password change, I entered the SM66 T-Code to view the WP list but I am getting error "Complete information only for activated RFC calls (> settings)" like this. I couln't find any log in SM21for this error. But I am able to view all the work process in SM50 and I am able to view all the Application Servers list in SM51 T-Codes.

Diagnosis
Complete information on report, transaction, memory usage amongst other things, is only available when the option 'Only display short information, avoid RFC' under 'Settings' is deactivated.

Yes, this is the view which will report you the rollback segment name, owner and other information about the rollback segments.
You can also query dba_undo_extents view.

No data in Portal Database tables for Activity Report

Hi experts,
I've developed an Activity Report application in SAP Portal 7.0, which went live but the report shows no data.
We are pulling data from 2 portal database tables: WCR_WEBCONTENTSTAT and WCR_USERPAGEUSAGE
In non production environment there is data in the report but there is no data in the production environment.
The Activity Report service is already activated/started and set to true.
What could have caused this? And what should we check now?
What other configurations/setup should be done?

Hi Greg,
Those are the aggregated tables. If they are not filled with data although the Portal Activity Report is activated, you should check whether the aggregation finished successfully.
In the older SPs there were some problems that were fixed in later SPs of 7.0.
In order to have the latest version of Portal Activity report, you can check SAP note 1084379 - Portal Activity Report - Latest Version (SDA file).
You can compare the SP via the MANIFAST file, as it contains the version and SP number.
In order to troubleshoot problems in Activity Report, you can follow SAP note: 1690023 - Portal Activity Report - Component-specific Note
Some basic checks that you can do:
Run query on the raw data tables to check since when there is data in those tables:
select min(timestamphour) from SAP<SystemID>DB.WCR_WEBCNODESTAT;
If there is too much data from long time ago, then you should delete the old data, and leave only the new data (there is anyways retention time for the data to be kept).
If there is no data, then it means that the Portal Activity Report does not collect data, and not really activated (usually this is not the case).
The aggregation runs every top of the hour, so you can check in the default traces for an error during that time.
In most of the cases something went wrong while aggregating the data.
As a result the aggregation is not finished, so the transaction is not being committed, and the aggregated tables stay empty.
If there is a DuplicateKeyException in the trace, you can follow SAP note 1054145 - Duplicate Key Exception.

Table for active version

Hi,
In one of our cases for PO values updation, values are getting populated in the historic version of the PO and not in active version.
Would there be any table which save in the active version where i can check ?

Hi Naga,
given a PO number, look for GUIDs in the CRMD_ORDERADM_H.
Use these GUID to query the CRM_JEST table. You can get the codes associated to status looking for a po in the BBP_PD transaction.

Sorry, more precisely...
you can extract the guid of the active version using the BBP_PD_PO_GETDETAIL FM. The header structure you obtain from the call has a field called CHANGE_LOCK. If this field is checked, then there's a change version and you probably would like to update this one.
In order to get the GUID of the change version, follow the above (previous) ride around the CRMD_ORDERADM_H and CRM_JEST tables.

In AFRU.. we can get activity confirmation....suppose if we have many activity which unit are HR.. then we can not differentiate which activity have confirmed .
i want activity type and its confirmed
example Activity type 9000( m/c power) 30kw 1000( labor) 6 HR, etc

Solution
To obtain a good load performance for ODS objects, we recommend that you note the following:
1. Activating data in the ODS object
In the Implementation Guide in the BW Customizing, you can implement different settings under Business Information Warehouse -> General BW settings -> Settings for the ODS object that will improve performance when you activate data in the ODS object.
1. Creating SIDs
The creation of SIDs is time-consuming and may be avoided in the following cases:
a) You should not set the indicator for BEx Reporting if you are only using the ODS object as a data store.Otherwise, SIDs are created for all new characteristic values by setting this indicator.
b) If you are using line items (for example, document number, time stamp and so on) as characteristics in the ODS object, you should mark these as 'Attribute only' in the characteristics maintenance.
SIDs are created at the same time if parallel activation is activated (see above).They are then created using the same number of parallel processes as those set for the activation. However:if you specify a server group or a special server in the Customizing, these specifications only apply to activation and not the creation of SIDs.The creation of SIDs runs on the application server on which the batch job is also running.

The process of deleting data from the ODS object may be accelerated by partitioning on the database level.Select the characteristic after which you want deletion to occur as a partitioning criterion.For more details on partitioning database tables, see the database documentation (DBMS CD).Partitioning is supported with the following databases:Oracle, DB2/390, Informix.
1. Indexing
Selection criteria should be used for queries on ODS objects.The existing primary index is used if the key fields are specified.As a result, the characteristic that is accessed more frequently should be left justified.If the key fields are only partially specified in the selection criteria (recognizable in the SQL trace), the query runtime may be optimized by creating additional indexes.You can create these secondary indexes in the ODS object maintenance.
1. Loading unique data records
If you only load unique data records (that is, data records with a one-time key combination) into the ODS object, the load performance will improve if you set the 'Unique data record' indicator in the ODS object maintenance.

I have an audit request for activity type that should include Date of creation/change and timestamp for them, but I don´t know if there is a table or report
that I should run.
Actually in KP26 in section line item shown the dates but by activity type, I expect to run in mass
I really appreciate if someone have suggestion or idea how is possible to get information with dates and timestamp

If not in standard, this can be achieved by customized field in the table. This is called Append Structure and you can add Z table.
Talk to an ABAP person. He can do it.

Table for milestone attached to the activity

Dear all,
This is regarding the SAP table for Milestone in project. I need to fetch the data for the milestone attached to the activity of the project. Table MLST for milestone has the WBS no. as one of the field and gives the details of milestones attached directly to WBS but it doesnot give the details of milestones attached to the network activity.
If anybody knows about the table please help.

A/c to me there is no tables availabe for your requirment I think this data is being stored in structure MLSTI. You can get details from ABAP consultant.
however your requirement can be solved by txn CN53n. Give * in all input field. Download report in excle filter /sort and use the data. For the further details you can use MLST table.

I an having problems for accessing WAD. It says 'You are not authorised to run WAD'. Does any one have idea of what authorizations are required to access WAD. I need to do the set up for information Broadcasting.

Problem activating Table for IT9916

Hello expert.
I`m trying to create and activate a table for the it 9916 and i´m having this error:
"Thee is no active nametab in the system, although an active ABAP/4 Dictionary object was expected."
Any idea why is happening?

Anil,
This is absolutely mandatory to delete the data from any of the table if you want to change the key fields of the table. This is as good as universal law in data base theory
Now as far as your ODS is concerned, you have to delete the complete data from it and then you can change the key fields of it. Again you just need to change this in the definition of ODS and not in any particular table.
Just change the definition of ODS in development and transport it to production. Make sure top delete the data before you transport it. If not, transport will fail.

Key Board Shortcut for toggling between Activity table and Activity Detail

Is there any keyboard shortcut for toggling between Activity table and activity detail windows. It if frustrating to use mouse while tweaking relationships of activities.

Unfortunately, there are no shortcuts for this. Prior to the Oracle acquisition, Primavera had it as a goal for R7 to allow the operator to keep their hands on the keyboard most of the time, but this feature didn't make it into the final code. I feel your pain!

Passing values for Table in Adaptive RFC model

I am new to WebDynpro ,I have a requirement I need to pass a table for the back end BAPI, the table has two columns say (column1 and column2), before calling the BAPI I need to fill values in the column1 and the when the BAPI returns it should fill the column2 values, Is this possible to do, If so do I need to call invalidate for the values to get reflected after the BAPI returns??
Can some one send me the sample code as to how to do this??
