Table for E-mail content (ERMS)
Hi Experts,
Can some one help me to know which is the table that stores E-mails content of an in-coming email in the ERMS system. I tried with CRM_ERMS_HEADER and SWWWIHEAD in transaction SE11 but I am unable to see any workitem content.
Regards.
Hi Vinod, Thanks for quick response.
I tried using Email work bench. three things
a. I can delete only 'open' and 'In process' email there however emails with status 'completed' are not able to delete. The message says "Selected Email has the status Completed/Deleted which cannot be deleted."
b. Though email is getting deleted, I can see them back when i set dropdown status to 'Deleted' in the Email Work bech.
c. Emails are visible in table CRMD_ERMS_CONTNT even after deletion from work bench.
How do we address these scenario? It will great help if some how we will be able to delete emails completely (Not a single record in the SAP system, anywhere). Awaiting the response, thanks in ahead.

But I have noticed that whatever I sent using this add-on, the record is not saving in the database tables i.e. OALR, OAOB or AOB1. Change Mail content for standard mail 'Simultaneous logon approval required' in 2 Envelop RFx
Hi Experts,
Please suggest, we have a requirement where we need to Change Mail content for standard mail 'Simultaneous logon approval required' and Simultaneous Logon Successful in 2 Envelop RFx in SRM.
Thanks.
Regards,
GauravHi Gaurav,
please implement BADI /SAPPSSRM/BD_SIM_LOGIN
Enhance Simultaneous Logon
Use
You can use this Business Add-In (BAdI) to incorporate customer-specific functions into the initiation and completion processes for simultaneous logon and to adapt simultaneous logon e-mail notifications.
Method PROCESS_FINISH
You use this method to add customer-specific functions to the simultaneous logon process. This method is called on completion of the simultaneous logon process.
The following parameters are provided
IV_EXT_GUID
Process ID of the external process
IV_MODE
Indicates the mode of the e-mail function (completion)
CV_SUCCESS
Indicates whether the process was successful
IV_SET_GUID
Process ID of the customer-specific process
Method PROCESS_INIT
You use this method to add customer-specific functions to the simultaneous logon process. This method is called on initiation of the simultaneous logon process.
The following parameters are provided:
IV_EXT_GUID
Process ID of the external process
IV_MODE
Indicates the mode of the e-mail function (initiation)
IV_SET_GUID
Process ID of the customer-specific process
Method SIM_EXT_MAIL
You use this method to change the content of the e-mail sent to participants on successful initiation, completion or failure of the simultaneous logon session and to define the external process that is calling the simultaneous logon application.
The following parameters are provided:
IV_OBJECT_ID
Business object identifier
IV_MODE
Indicates the mode of the e-mail function (initiation, completion or failure)
IV_EXT_MODE
Indicates the external process, for example, technical RFx response opening, of the calling application. This could be any process for which you want to use simultaneous logon.
CT_MAIL_BODY
Content of the e-mail
CV_MAIL_SUB
Subject line of the e-mail
Standard settings
If the customer does not define a BAdI implementation, SAP delivers a default BAdI implementation. The default implementation incorporates the simultaneous logon process with the two-envelope RFx response process. You cannot use the simultaneous logon process with standard RFxs in the default implementation.
Activities
Information about the implementation of BAdIs in the context of the enhancement concept is available in the SAP Library for SAP NetWeaver under BAdIs - Embedding in the Enhancement Framework.

Preferable database for storing the Inbox Mail Content
Hi All
we are developing one Email clinet software by using java mail API,
we are getting the inbox mail content without any problem, but when storing the data in database is giving problem, now i'm using MS Access database
For mailbody content used as MEMO type.
Error is : Count Field is Incorrect
thankq in advance
vasuSrinivas,
1) Is the problem only with the message being sent through custom code using SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1? What happens if you send a message using SAPOffice?
2) Are the patch levels of the GUI same on both machines? Are you sure both PCs are configured exactly the same? Especially wrt to Windows & IE patches. I vaguely remember there were some issues a while ago with some IE patches. Normally in most client environments the desktops upgrades are controlled centrally and users do not have admin rights. Make sure the user has not done upgrades/installs on the PC in question. If that were the case the PC may needs to be reimaged.
BTW - What version are you on R/3 and SAPGUI?

Hello,
I have created smartforms for e-mail which I have assigned to my actions.
But these smartforms are being sent as PDF attachements in the mail.
I want them to be in the mail body, how this can be achieved?
Any ideas are welcome.
RegardsIn CRM 2007 that was the only option. I am not sure about CRM 7. If at all, you choose the development path, these example programs would help you out.

Hi,
I need some inputs on configuring a outbound mail based on rule modeler & category schema using same ERMS functionality but without any incoming mails.
Can anyone suggest any relevant tables for triggering outbound mails for a business object in dialog mode as I checked the tables - CRMD_ERMS_HEADER and CRMD_ERMS_STEP for inbound mails but was not successful in enhancing it.
Thanks & Regards,
ShivaHi Shiva,
If you need to send outbound emails based on incoming Email like auto acknowledgement you need to define the autoacknowledge action for the same in the service manager profile.
In case you need to prepare only outbound email response draft , please auto prepare action for same.
Regards,
Pratyasha Shishodia

Thunderbird fails to send email when "Scan email for junk mail" option is checked in Server Admin
I have 2 clients that need to send mail through my server, one Mac and one Windows. The Mac uses apple mail and the Windows machine uses Thunderbird.
Apple Mail will send fine, it is set up for "Use Default ports 25, 465, 587" and "Use SSL" and "Authentication: MD5 Challenge-response".
Thunderbird refuses to send and I don't even see any errors showing up in the Console on the OS X server under smtpd entries.
If I uncheck the "Scan email for junk mail" option on the server, then Thunderbird will send fine.
Thunderbird is set up as: "smtp port 587 (default)" "connection security: STARTTLS" "Authentication method: Encrypted Password"
May or may not be relevant: I use virtual domains as well as aliases.
Server: Mac OS X Server version 10.5.8Solved it, looks like maybe the smtpd settings for sasl authentication may not have been correct. I followed everything in http://osx.topicdesk.com/content/view/38/41/ the "Frontline Spam Defense for OS X server" guide and now can send mail just fine from Thunderbird Winodws and from Apple Mail.
