How to find config table for the field "language" in infotype-0002

Hi Gurus,
We are implementing ECC 6.0 at our client site.
The client wants to use language field in persoanl data infotype as mother tongue and include indian languages.
He don't want all other languages like spanish etc instead he wants indian languages like Hindi,telugu,tamil etc.
can any body please help me in which table we can configure this.

Hi,
You can enter the languages in the IMG
Path is
IMG-> Personnel Management-> Personnel Administration -> Personnel Data-> Languages
Or you can simply go for technical information in the field name and will get the table name for that field and can maintain in SM30

Use Tables for Image Layout?

I'm in the process of learning HTML and putting together some
sites. The book I'm reading is several years old but is very
thorough. It suggests taking slices from a page mockup in PS/IR,
optimizing (saving only the images, not code), then re-assembling
it by writing the code that puts it all together in tables.
Is this an outdated/"bad" way to accomplish this? If so, what
is the "best"/recommended way for slice-based graphic layout? Keep
in mind I'd like to us image maps later to create links and
rollovers.

I'm not a fan of sliced-image layouts, but yes, that's just
the way I'd do
it. I'd slice the page mockup myself and then place it into a
table with the
right number of rows and columns with as minimal and clean
HTML as
possible.

Table for mitigation control frequency

Hi,
We are trying to build a program to be able to send notifications to mitigation monitors. For this I am trying to find the tables where the relevant details of the mitigation controls are located.
I need the following information from the tables:
1. Mitigation ID - I have found this in HRP5354
2. Mitigation Name - I have found this in HRP1000
3. Mitigation Monitor - I have found this in HRT5320
4. Tcode in Reports - I have found this in HRT5320 + GRACACTION
5. Frequency - I have NOT found this.
The #5 - frequency of the report action is something that I am still missing. Please help me with the info, also suggest if there is a better way to get this information. Thanks!!

Hi Sammukh,
you can find the frequency in table GRFNCNREPORT.
In general you can easily find the tables with SE11 to check where the object is used.

The data is not stored in infotypes but that doesn't matter. You should use personalization to hide the fields. You can pass the parameter in the URL's you use on your company's jobsite, but you should also look at following badis:
HRRCF00_DET_APPL_CONFIG_STARTP
HRRCF00_DETERMINE_APPL_CONFIG

Adding fields in condition table for output control

I have added a new field LGNUM in the fieldcatalog for delivery in transaction VOK2. Now i need to create a new condition table in which i want to include this field. But i am not able to see LGNUM in the list of fields which are displayed in the field list.

Adobe Forms - FormCalc Scripting Question for Image Control

Hi All,
I have three images on my master page. I have a hidden text field. Based on a certain value within this text field I need to turn off Imagefield B and ImageField C and Leave ImageField A visible.
I know this can be done via FormCalc scripting.
My Questions:
Which event shoudl I put the script in? I was thinking the textfield initialize event.
What would be the EXACT syntax to turn turn image fields on or off?
Please inform if know.

I solved it now, just changing the FormCalc expression.
Instead of using the expression:
this.value.image.href = xfa.resolveNode(this.value.image.href).value;
I used this:
this.value.image.href = xfa.record.Images.URL;
The URL value of Image Field, in this case is:
<b>$record.Images[*].URL</b>
And, to finish, I needed to add a Text Field bounded to <b>$record.Imagens[*].URL</b>, case else the image doesn't appear.
That's it!

Image control synchronizing scroll bars

Hello, I have a LabVIEW program using Vision that I want to use multiple Image controls in a VI. I would like to be able to synchronize the movements of the scroll bars. If a user scrolls left in one window, I want the other window(s) to also scroll left the same amount. Is this possible? I know it can be done with 2D picture controls but I would like to do this with a Image control (not external). It would also be helpful to zoom synchronously.

-I think we can enable/disable the scrollbars through property nodes. Let's see if anyone else has idea on programmatically moving scrollbars for image control.
-For zoom you can use zoom property node of selected image control and write the same to other image controls.

Hi. I capture an Image and save it to IsolatedStorage. What's the URI (source for Image control) for IsolatedStorage to automatically display that image if it's available in IsolatedStorage? Thank you in advance.

Try this code to retrieve the image from isoStore.
It works for me.

You can set the source of the Image to filePath and you won't have any problem accessing it.
If this doesnt work, then the problem is while you are saving the image. You might have to find a workaround for saving the canvas to png or jpeg.

I have a requirement to create a custom infotype using tabstrips and table control. The tabstripes should also be dynamically populated. For example we have infty 8(Basic pay) used table control and 24(Qualifications) for tabstripes.

I dont have a solution for your problem, but am curious about the intent of what you are trying to do .... the purpose of the table control is to store multiple records, so if a user enters multiple records for the four fields, how are you planning to store it in the Database (PA9nnn) table considering the key would be unique .... Unless you have defined 4*X times the number of columns in your P9nnn strcutre and hence need X number of rows in table control?
Just trying to bring up a question - so that it might help realize a solution or prospective future problem!

Radio group with URL for image in a table

I'm trying to display some text and an image for a radio group so the form looks like
(*) text for item 1 {image for item 1}
( ) text for item 2 {image for item 2}
( ) text for item 3 {image for item 3}

It looks like all I have to do is create a LOV that looks like:
SELECT {complex stuff that generates the text string, img tag, and URL for image}
,DB_PK
FROM dynamic_view_for_lov -- public synonym
But, my images are stored in a table.
I have been able to create an IR using the "Column Format=BLOB" method.
The SQL for the report looks like:
select
db_pk, display_text, image_len, image_clob
from dynamic_view_for_lov -- public synonym
And the Number/Date Format for the IMAGE_LEN column is:
IMAGE:DYNAMIC_VIEW_FOR_LOV:IMAGE_BLOB:DB_PK::::::Inline:Download
My question: How do I create the URL for the img tag for the LOV?

ADF Faces: How do I set values for input controls in an af:table

Use case: user enters master/detail information into an input form using an af:table for the desired number of detail rows.
I have an ADF Faces input form with master level input controls, and an af:table (bound to a backing bean CoreTable) for the detail data set.
The input controls are value bound to updateable view objects built from entity objects, with the appropriate view links providing master/detail iterators.
Once the user has entered the master keys (via inputTexts, and selectOneChoices), I create a row in the detail VO, thus creating a visible blank row in the af:table.
The user then completes the key for the detail row (in the af:table) by selecting a value in a selectOneChoice (in a af:column) with autoSubmit on and a valueChangeListener that sets the VO row attribute with the new value.
The user then continues to enter into the remaining inputTexts and selectOneChoices in the af:columns until all values have been entered.
I do not have autoSubmit on for any input controls in the af:columns other than the key, for performance improvement.
The user can then use a command button (which has an action method) to create another row in the af:table.
But, (in the action method) I need to set the values for the 1st detail VO row attributes, from the input controls, before creating another row.
The input controls are bound to backing bean CoreInputText and CoreSelectOneChoice objects, and they have not set their values at this point, even though I have partialSubmit on for the "New Row" command button.
I do not value bind the input controls in the af:columns to the backing bean objects, because we need to display data for all rows entered into the af:table.
Any advice on the best way to perform this operation would be very appreciated!!!!

Yes, I followed the techniques in Screencast#7, and it works great in my edit page.
But I am having problems with my input form.
I actually have master/detail/detail relationship for which I am creating an input form.
I created the input form as a copy of the edit form, and am making revisions as necessary.
I created new view objects for the input form (from my three entity objects), which have the "Tuning" set to retrieve "No Rows (i.e. used only for inserting new rows)"
I added an invokeAction that binds the "CreateInsert" action on the master iterator, so when the page is first displayed, the master level controls are available for data entry (as in 13.6.2 in the Developers Guide): but the first level detail controls are not rendered, and the af:table (for the second level detail) is rendered but with no rows.
Once the user enters key values for the master (a three part key), I manually create a first level detail row by executing the "CreateInsert" action binding for the first level detail iterator.
Continuing on, the user then enters a key value for the first level detail I manually create a second level detail row using it's "CreateInsert" action binding.
Now the user has a form with all master and first level detail controls completed and one empty row in the af:table for it's first entry.
The key column in the af:table has autoSubmit on, and an value change listener. That listener uses it's getNewValue() to set the key value ("locationCode" in this case) using
setLocationCode from the ViewRowImpl. Here is that value change listener:

But the values from the first row (other than the key column) are not assigned to the row in the collection and I can't figure out how to set values in the collection's row.
I imagine I'm missing something using bindings and the Request Processing Lifecycle, and after reading this I can see how much manual work is going on.
The users have specified the need to have all information available on one page, so I've designed it so they can insert and iterate through the first level detail collection.
They have also asked to not use the mouse; they are looking for a "heads-down-data-entry" system.
Again, I really appreciate any advice you could give.

for this i am using <h:commandLink> and <h:graphicImage>.
But i am getting behaviour as anchor link for both text and image.
deserved behavior for this is only ofr Image.
