Table for Infoobject-Infocube Relation

Dear All,
I want to know whether there is a table that maintains information on infoobjects i.e. for a particular infoobject the table maintains all the infocubes where that particular infoobject is used. Is there such a table.If yes please tell me the table.

Reduce Ratio??
The Ratios are dependent on the Fact Table, and the Dimension table that is modeled for your Cube.
You cannot change ratio individually, but can set the Line Item Dimension , provided you have only one char object is taking much space and bulky with much percentage, based on your requirement. You can always use fine tuning objects.
Please be more specific while posting, to get right help from sdn.

Depending on the infoobject definition, the tables are created at the time of master data activation:
/BI<C OR DIGIT>/<TABLE CODE><INFOOBJECT>
<C or digit>: C = Customer-defined InfoObjects
digit = SAP-defined InfoObjects
<table code>: S = SID table
T = Text table
P = Time-independent master data attributes
Q = Time-dependent master data attributes
M = Union of time-dependent and time-independent master
data attributes
X = SID table for time-independent navigational attributes
Y = SID table for time-dependent navigational attributes
H = Hierarchy table
K = Hierarchy SID table
I = Hierarchy SID structure table
J = Hierarchy interval table
<InfoObject>: The name of the InfoObject without leading digits (if any)

Hi Smita,
Go to R/3 --> transaction RSA5. Find your datasource there (say 0hr_pt_1), double click on this. On next screen, you will see all teh fields comprising in this datasource. Select your perticular fileds which you want to find the R/3 table. Preess F1 on this --> go to Technical information and you will see R/3 table and Filed name associate to that infoobject.

Based on the inspection lot no. , I need to find out the fields 'short text for inspection characteristics' & 'original values'. in which table i can find out.
the transaction is QE03. If i press F1 it is referring to structure.

You could also try table DD01T. In se 16,put in the description thats needed,you will get to know the respective data elements.
Then you can use DD03L to find the respective table. This would work if the data element is not generic.

Change dimension tables for an infocube

hello all,
we have an existing cube where a few of the dimension tables are quite big compared to size of fact table. we understand enough about getting the correct dimension table sizes, our question revolves around the existing cube.
meaning, when we make the dimension table changes in dev and transport to val, will the transport be successful with data in the cube (so it will be stored in a format of old dimension table structure)? do we have to dump the cube before transport and then reload after transport successful?

Fact Table and the InfoCube

Hi All,
When I search for Inventory quantity in an InfoCube, it is giving me all zero values. I had verified and found correct values in the Fact Table for that InfoCube. The Update Rules applied is a direct InfoObject to InfoObject mapping(Source Key Figure). But I am getting all zero values for Inventory quantity in the InfoCube. Why???

http://service.sap.com/bi , choose BI InfoIndex from the left navigation area and then follow the Non cumulatives link in the list. There are two very important docs.

I had similiar problem with incorrect requests compression or incorrect validity table structure (detailed info you can find in those docs).

Tables for sales & purchase order data relating to delivery

hi all,
i am writing a report to download all the delivery data after the delivery is created.i have to download the sales order data & purchase order data relating to this delivery also.
i am using likp & lips table for delivery.which tables i
should use to get the sales order data & PO data for the same delivery (likp-vbeln). i.e i need the sales & purchase order related tables which has link with delivery tables like likp & lips etc.
plz advice me. it is very urgent.

Error when running report: "Error in aggregate table for InfoCube"

Hi Experts
We had a temporary error, which I would like to find the root cause for.
We where running a Workbook which is based on a multiprovider. For a short period of time (around 10 minuts) we got the following error when we executed the workbook based on this multiprovider:
"Error in aggregate table for InfoCube"
There where no loads or aggregates rolling up on the cubes in the multiprovider.
I see no short dumps as well in ST22.
Have anybody seen this error before, and how can I trace how this error occured?

Hi Sneha,
I will Suggest u to do some RSRV tests.
Go to transaction RSRV. There you will find test for aggregates. Just Perform them and see whether you get any discrepencies.

Tool for viewing the relation between tables.

I imported the schema dump in Oracle 10g R2 DB, there are about 800 plus tables in that schema. I would like to know the relataion between tables.So,What tools are available for viewing the relation between tables?. I have TOAD, and Oracles SQL Developer tolls, if there are any free tools for the same, please let me know the URLs.

To find tables for any infoprvider go to SE11.
In database table field enter the following
Cube -
Has fact table and dimension table
For customized cube - ie cube names not starting with ' 0 '
Uncompressed Fact table - /BIC/F<infocubename>
Compressed fact table - /BIC/E<infocubename>
Dimension table - /BIC/D<infocubename>
For standard cube - ie cube names starting with ' 0 '
Uncompressed Fact table - /BI0/F<infocubename>
Compressed fact table - /BI0/E<infocubename>
Dimension table - /BI0/D<infocubename>
Click on display.
For DSO,
For standard DSO active table- /BI0/A<DSO name>00.
You use 40 for new table.
Click on display.
For customized DSO use- /BIC/A<DSO name>00.
An easier way is in the database table field, write the name of the cube/DSO preceeded and followed by ' * ' sign. Then press F4 . It shall give you the names of the available table for that info provider.
Double click on the name and choose display.
