Table got deleted

Dear Friends,
To delete the complete cube data, i have used se14 and, it deleted the table. Table.
Is this a problem?
what shall i do now?

What do you mean by that you have deleted the table......have you deleted all the dimension tables and fact table?
But you cannot delete a dimension from a incube when it contains data........then you have to delete all the infoobject it contains.......then only you can delete the dimension means the dimension table...........
So I think you are mistaking something.........go and check your infocube in RSA1..........whether dimensions are still there or not......

How can we get the log for deleted entries with all the details like User ID ,Date and time of Deletion.
I have already checked STAD and DBACOCKPIT for SQL queries of deletion of records but could not find any log .

Yes, under controlled situation, you can find some information(at least date and time with what was deleted) even if deleted from SQL level.
You can use ORACLE's log miner - Using LogMiner to Analyze Redo Log Files

BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE , not deleted in VBAP, but got deleted in VBEP, VBUP

Hi All,
Through BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE the sales order item line is being deleted. But, due to some reson, only entries in VBEP and VBUP are got deleted. VBAP table still showing the item line. This is resulting inconsistency of data between tables, and there by resulting an Update termination error.

Did you populate ORDER_ITEM_INX-ITM_NUMBER and Updateflag?
The BAPI call seems to be fine and i dont see any problems there.

Source connection got deleted

Hi all,
When I am doing post refresh activity by mistake i have deleted the souce system connection in RSA1 t-code because of that PSA's and DSO's got deleted. Since it is copied from production to Quality i have copied RSDS, RSTRAN & RSDSSEG tables from production after that i ran BDLS and it got successful eventhough it is still showing logical system name Production.
Am not sure what i did correct or not since it is quality i have done above actions. Could you please suggest me what i need to do?

Never delete a source system connection from RSA1. It will delete all those update rules/transfer rule etc. In case you need to delete you can do that by a function module. RSAP_BIW_DISCONNECT which will delete corresponding entry from table RSBASIDOC and then you have to delete from EDP13, EDPP1, EDP21 and RSLOGSYSDEST manually from SE16.
In your case, you can try to make a new connection or else you have to again copy your production database and then to convert you have to run BDLS.
If you had small number of DataSources in that deleted source system, you can ask your BI team to recreate those after you make a new connection to the corresponding source system. Or else go for a new DB restore.

You can try using PSA if that request it's still there.
Otherwise, you will need to regenerate that request in source system (by filling setup tables with parameters) and update BW with a full load.

In this case, please follow the below steps -
1. Delete the delta for your info package, and do init without data transfer.
2. After this first fill your setup tables with SBIW tcode,
3. And run your Info Package with Repair full request the data will come to PSA now, anyway ur DSO will overwrite all the existing records and add only the fresh records.
4. Later enable your delta for the Info Package. This will absolutely go fine.

Request Got Deleted From 0PP_C01(Planned/Actual Comparison Order/Material)

Hi experts,
I am a newbie in the BW area.
We have 0PP_C01(Planned/Actual Comparison Order/Material View) , 0PP_C03(Plan/Actual Comparison Operation/Work Center View) and 0PP_C05(Plan/Actual Comparison Material Consumption) activated in our production system.
Few days before one data error happened during data load and accidentially, that particular request got deleted from the system.
When we tried to load data again, it is not allowing since the request is missing and the update mode is delta update.
Can any one guide me to retrieve the data back to the system??

1) i have uncared the sapmmc.sar from   Kernal\NT\I386\MMC\sapmmc.sar file
2) i got about 7 files, in which there is one sapmmc file i have tried to double click it, n check but no go.
3) i also tried to run the Sapstartsrv.exe file and fill in up the values in pop up window. & filled up the following values :-
                    SID: DEV
                    NR: 00
                    StartProfile: (entire start profile path given)
                    user: devadm
                    passwd; (given)
- but it says "the account name is invalid or does not exist or the password is invalid for account name specified"/
- no go in both the cases.
Please need help very urgent.

I have ran the Disk usage by Top Tables report and Identified couple of tables with unwanted data for last 5 years. I have deleted the data for the first 3 years and then ran the Disk usage by Top Tables report again. When I compared the report before
and after the data deletion, I have noticed certain facts which is not matching with what I know or learned from experts like you. The following are the points where I am looking for clarification:
1.Reserved (KB) has been reduced. I was expecting the data Reserved (KB) will remain the same after the data deletion.
2. The Data(KB) and Indexes(KB) fields have been reduced as expected. The Unused(KB) field have been increased as expected.
I was expecting the total of Data(KB) and Indexes(KB) field space gained will be equal to the Unused(KB) field gained after deleting the data. But that is not the case. When I deducted(subtracted) the difference in the Reserved(KB)(Difference before
and after data deletion) field from the Total of space gained from the data deletion is equal to the Unused(KB) gained field value.
I am not a SQL expert and not questioning but trying to understand whether we really gain space by deleting data from the tables. Also keen to get the concepts right, but my testing by deleting some records confused me.

By design, the iphone will sync itunes content with one computer at a time. Any attempt to sync such content with a second computer will result in ALL itunes content being first erased from your phone & then replaced with the content from the second computer. This is a design feature and cannot be overridden. Because you are using a new computer, your phone will see this computer as a "new" computer. The itunes content sync is one way: computer to phone. If you have photos that were synced to your phone or music ripped on your own that were not backed up, you will first have to extract them from your phone using third party software, before you do anything else, as Apple makes no provision to do so:

Once you've done that, do the following in the order specified:
1. Disable auto sync when an iPod/iPhone is connected under iTunes>Preferences(under the edit menu if using Windows)>Devices in itunes.
2. Make sure you have one contact & one event in the supported applications(Address Book & iCal or Outlook, Windows Address Book) on your computer. These entries can be fake, doesn't matter, the important point is that these programs not be empty.
3. Connect your phone, iTunes running, DO NOT SYNC at this point.
4. Store>Authorize this computer.
5. File>Transfer Purchases(To make sure all purchased content on your phone will be in your itunes library).
6. Right click in the device pane & select reset warnings.
7. Right click again and select backup.
8. Right click again & select restore from backup, select the backup you just made. When prompted to create another backup, decline.
9. This MUST be followed by a sync to restore your itunes content, which you select from the various tabs, You'll get a popup regarding your contacts & calendars asking to merge or replace, select merge.
You should be good to go.
