Table in interactive form using webynpro for abap

Hi All,
I am working on itercative form in adobe forms.I had a problem.
I have one field in webdynpro and interactive form in my view.
In interiae form layout i have a table which should be populated based on the input given in the field context attribute.
in layout i have 5 fields from 2 fields should poulated based on the input 3 fields user can enter anything i.e these three fields should be interactive.
I am able to sucessfully fill the data if i set 'Enabled' property to space in element interactive form.If i set enabled property i am not able see any data i my form.
How can i do this happen.I am very confused.I searched in many forums everybody says that if you put 'Enbaled' check box in interactive that will became a interactive form.

use normal wedynpro codeings for table also..
interactive form is a one of the GUI element in WD.so asual just create one attribute for input.
and one node for table bind the node to table. create action for input inside the action write select query in where condition give the readed value and once you create the inteactive form throuth the interface values will be shared automatically ..

Downloading a form is as simple as when u enduser opens a form online, he just saves a copy of it, fills it up and uploading is just the next step.

Hi Daisuke,
As per your requirement, to get done your work you need to create two Adobe Forms , one is for Offline Interactive Form and other is Online Interactive Form.
In offline Interactive you design your form and define the Layout type as zci layout and Abap Dictionary Based interface. And by executing the form you can save the form to your desktop.
Now in online Interactive Form you create the context similar to the one which has been created in the Offline Interactive Form. Now in one view you define the file upload functionality and in other view you define the adobe interactive form, for this the interface is automatically as it asks for the context and its of type XML based interface, also do maintain the context variable something like "PDFDATASTRING" with type XSTRING in the Component Controller and now in adobe view you give the property pdfstring as "PDFDATASTRING" and dont forget to provide the navigation of these two view, and set the File Upload View as default view.
The above functionality can help you in some way or the other.

Adobe Interactive Forms using Web AS ABAP Only

Hi,
After setting up ADS, we want to publish an adobe interactive form to a website. We want this form to be truly interactive, meaning users can enter data through it with validations. My question is, is it possible to develop this form using ABAP only and deploy it in WEB AS ABAP? Or do we really need to use NWDS and WEB AS JAVA for this?
I saw somewhere that ABAP can only provide printforms (static?) while JAVA (in NWDS) can generate interactive forms.

In Service market place where I can get the download link of Adobe Designer and what are the stpes I need to follow in the configuration side. Problem with interactive forms using ABAP

Hi all,
    I am trying to create an interactive adobe form using ABAP in ECC 6.0. But while execute the form, it is creating an error saying that
Exception       SYSTEM_ERROR

Message:
ADS: The render error log file has been written to D:\u(200101)
But i was able to create adobe interactive form using WebDynpro and its working perfectly. But the problem is while using ABAP method.
Do anyone have an idea why its happening?

Interactive Forms based on Adobe software is SAP's new solution for forms development. Its first release has the focus on interactive use of forms. High-volume printing is supported in principle, but - being a new solution - the performance has not yet reached the same level as Smart Forms or SAPscript, two established solutions that had years to grow. Interactive Forms is the only solution that will continue to be enhanced with new features, while SAPscript and Smart Forms will be supported without limitations.
When (or if) to move to Interactive Forms depends on your requirements. For interactive forms usage, i.e. the new functions, you have no choice, as the existing solutions don't support it. High-volume print scenarios need to be carefully analyzed to see whether your concrete requirements can be met at this point.
However, it is possible to move to Smart Forms and design your forms in such a way that a migration at any point in the future would be but a small step. Smart Forms offers from Web AS 6.40 a migration wizard to Interactive Forms. Technically, everything can be migrated, but we recommend against things like ABAP program nodes, for example.
You are not forced to ever go to Interactive Forms if you don't want to. It really depends on whether your client needs any of the new features in Interactive Forms. Also, if they are currently working with JetForms, they could enquire with Adobe directly what migration path they offer to the joint solution.
It is impossible to make a blanket statement on what needs to be done in each of the applications using a form for output. Despite the same underlying technology, forms handling has always been a decision for each SAP application: Some do it through customizing, some through coding, some in yet anither way.
What I CAN say from a technology pespective is that all applications are in the process of creating their forms based on Interactive Forms so that by 2007 pretty much all SAP forms will be PDF-based. Obviously, each application does it within the framework of their application - but they all use Interactive Forms.
By the way, be aware that in ERP 2004 this forms solution is subject to a limitation for high-volume printing scenarios as we cannot ensure that ALL customers will be content with the performance in ALL scenarios with this release. (see SAP Note 863893).
To get an overview idea about Adobe forms ,
Using SFP , first you need to create a interface . in interface you can declare the import and export parameters and also the declaration part, coding etc : This is nothing but similar to Function module interface.
And now we have to create the Form which is interactive. Create the form and enter the interface name which you have created in first step, so that the parameters , declarations of fields etc : will be copied and available in the form layout. So that you can drag and drop these declared fields ( dclared fields of interface ) to the layout.
Create the context and layout in the form.
The layout generated can be previewed and saved as PDF output.
Now we need to integrate the driver program and the PDF form to get the final output as per the requirement.
On activating and executing the form you will get a function module name just similar to smartforms.
The driver program needs to call this FM.

Missing code in "Offline Interactive Forms Using ABAP" SDN document?

I am trying to build a sample offline form scenario using the code published in the SDN document "Offline Interactive Forms Using ABAP" written by Vani Krishnamoorthy. Everything works perfectly up to the point where we instantiate the PDF Object to extract the data from the form. Then there seems to be some code missing just before we call the method SET_DOCUMENT. We are supposed to export the parameter pdfdata = pdf_data , but I cannot find where pdf_data variable is declared or assigned. Also, an ENDTRY statement seems to be missing.
Has anyone had success with Vani's offline scenario, and if so, do you know what code is missing, if any?

I found the missing code in sample program FP_PDF_TEST_06. Everything works well now.
The PDF file that was uploaded from the PC first needs to be converted from binary to XSTRING before you can create the PDF object:

F4 help in online interactive forms using ABAP

Question 1:
I am able to get f4 help in online interactive form using ABAP. but after selecting the value from pop-up the value is not populated in PDF field. Can u help regardiing this.
Question 2:
I am able to get f4 help in online interactive form using value help dropdown, first time if i click the dropdown button it is showing the popup, if i click second time it is not showing the popup.

I you are woking from the Web Dynpro for ABAP then after binding the Context variable in the view, and in the Adobe Layout Designer from the Library goto WebDynpro Native Tab and drag and drop the Value Help and for this automatically JavaScript is being generated, go that script and edit the line

Note: dont forget to link the context attribute to search help. ie. in the context properties of the attributes select the input help mode as dictionary search help and specify the name of the search help present in data dictionary.
And now go to Utilities and click on u201CInsert Web Dynpro Scriptu201D.
Also make sure that you specify the Layout as ZCI Layout in the Propertioes of the Adobe Form.
2. Only the Submit button , the Enumerated Drop-Down List as well as the Value help button from the Web Dynpro Native library of Adobe LiveCycle Designer are supported. Check SAP Note: 1098009

Search Help on Adobe Interactive Form with Web Dynpro ABAP

Hi All,
I have created Adobe Interactive Form with ZCI type and XML based interface type using Webdynpro ABAP.
I placed a text field USER_NAME on the form ( data element is linked to search help USER_COMP ).
Added Native WD UI element 'Value Help' to form to search for users and changed script
*var fieldName = "INSERT_NAME_HERE*"; to var fieldName = "USER_NAME";
The problem is that when I click on the value help button, nothing happens.
Is any more additional steps required ?

Adding dynamic size table to Interactive Form

Hello everyone,
I have a node with multiple elements that i would like to show in an interactive pdf form.
I'm using the Adobe LiveCycle Designer to do it, but i'm only managing to bind "solo" variables, not tables.
How can i associate dynamically a table with several lines to a pdf interactive form ? I tried a list box but i still only get the first element shown in the box. Am i doing anything wrong ?

Hi,
Basically the general way to add a table to INteractive form is by adding a subform elemet to a subform element and(i mean subform in a subform), now map the fields u want to be displayed as a table.
For the fisrt subform set the LayoutType-Flow Content,Flow DirectionTable.
Then select the allow page breaks within the content option.
And the binding should be Normal.
for the second subform:
LayoutType-Flow Content,Flow DirectionTable row.
Now also select the option allow page breaks.
Then for Binding tab: select the Repeat Subform for each data Item, then min count=1.
And now if ur table columns contain names like abc, def and xyz.
Then in the script editor code something like this
abc[*]; under show: initilaze, language: Formcalc and Run at: client

Saving values into table from Interactive Form

Hallo together,
iam trying to do the example "Include Tables" (SAP Interactive Forms by Adobe - Galileo Press).
It works, but not as described. When i want to change data in the interactive_forms ui element and press the webdynpro native button send, the value at the webdynpro table does not change. When i change the value at the webdynpro table and press the send button at the form or change the line at the webdynpro, the value in the adobe formular changes too. Thats one problem.
The other problem is that i want to save the changed/added data from the formular at the database. What to do? The form layout is "ZCI Layout" and i added the script:

I also added this into "wddomodifyview":

Hi,
To make an input enabled table. I would suggest to use TABLE element from the PDF library and then binding the columns from your context.
Step 1: Library -> Standard ->Table
Select create using assistance.
Select body rows vary depending on data .
Select number of Columns in your case it will be 4.
Then proceed further and finish as per your need.
Step 2:
Select a table Column .
Select Pallets->Object then chnage the cell type from Text to text field.
Then click on binding tab and bind it to the respective field from hierarchy.
Select upgrade the following properties radio button and check only "default value" option.
This will create binding something like this $record.SCARR.DATA[*].CARRID
Follow this for all other columns.
Step 3:
Now create a button in the View holding your form(you can also use SUBMIT button of form). On action event of this button right the following code to get all the changed values from Table.
data lt_scarr type wd_this->elements_scarr.
call method lo_nd_scarr->get_static_attributes_table
    importing
      table = lt_scarr.
LT_SCARR will contain all the new values from Form. Then use this table to update ur database table.

Regarding dynamic tables in interactive forms

        I have designed a webdynpro view which contains a table,i have to generate a pdf format file which also contains
a table as there in the webdynpro view.
        I have designed a dynamic table in interactive form and binded the interactive form ui element with the datasource and pdfSource.
In the interactive form i am getting only one row data of webdynpro view table.In the Object palette, I selected Repeat Row For Each Data Item.
       share with me if u have any idea or send any document regarding table binding(dynamic) in interactive form.
