Table in interactive froms - choices of flow content
Hi SAP-Gurus,
I try to create an interactive form that contains a dynamic table. I read in several threads that I have to choose the row table flow direction in a subform of flow content. But I have only the choice between 'top to bottom' and 'western text' flow direction. There is no entry with 'table' or something similar.
Do I need another version of Adobe Life Cycle Designer or what could be the reason for this?
I actually work with the following software:
Adobe Life Cycle Designer 7.1
Adobe Reader 7.0.9
SAP Netweaver 2004s
SAP GUI 6.40

Hello everyone,
I have a node with multiple elements that i would like to show in an interactive pdf form.
I'm using the Adobe LiveCycle Designer to do it, but i'm only managing to bind "solo" variables, not tables.
How can i associate dynamically a table with several lines to a pdf interactive form ? I tried a list box but i still only get the first element shown in the box. Am i doing anything wrong ?

Basically the general way to add a table to INteractive form is by adding a subform elemet to a subform element and(i mean subform in a subform), now map the fields u want to be displayed as a table.
For the fisrt subform set the LayoutType-Flow Content,Flow DirectionTable.
Then select the allow page breaks within the content option.
And the binding should be Normal.
for the second subform:
LayoutType-Flow Content,Flow DirectionTable row.
Now also select the option allow page breaks.
Then for Binding tab: select the Repeat Subform for each data Item, then min count=1.
And now if ur table columns contain names like abc, def and xyz.
Then in the script editor code something like this
abc[*]; under show: initilaze, language: Formcalc and Run at: client

Just choose the UI element Table from Form Library and drag and drop it on the form. now choose the no. of rows and columns and other settings you want about table from the wizard initiated through this process. This all is what you have to do to create the table. Now to bind it to the fields of the data source bind the individual colums to individual attributes of the node in the datasource.

Dynamic table in interactive form...

I am a beginner in adobe forms development.
I want to create an adobe form with dynamic internal table. I.e. addition of rows and deletion of rows dynamically. I have gone through some of the threads in SDN. But still I am not able to make it.
I used following approach for the same. Kindly correct me if i am wrong.
Step1: I have created a context with the required fields in webdynpro abap with cardinality 1..1.
Step2: In the adobe form I created a table using table assistant.
Step3: a. Wrapped the table into a subform and set the content as "Flowed"
b. Selected "Repeat Table item for Each Data Item" at table level and body level with min count as '1'.
c. Selected "Repeat Table item for Each Data Item" at header row with min count and max as '1'.
Step 4: Added two Webdynpro native submit buttons by name "Add" and "Delete" and coded as follows:

Steploop and table contol is inevitable in certain transactions. When we run BDC for such transactions, we will face the situation: how many visible lines of steploop/tablecontrol are on the screen? Although we can always find certain method to deal with it, such as function code 'NP', 'POPO', considering some extreme situation: there is only one line visible one the screen, our BDC program should display an error message. (See transaction 'ME21', we you resize your screen to let only one row visible, you can not enter mutiple lines on this screen even you use 'NP')
Now with the help of Poonam on sapfans.com developement forum, I find a method with which we can determine the number of visible lines on Transaction Screen from our Calling BDC program. Maybe it is useless to you, but I think it will give your some idea.
Demo ABAP code has two purposes:
1. how to determine number of visible lines and how to calculte page number;
(the 'calpage' routine has been modify to meet general purpose usage)
2. using field symbol in BDC program, please pay special attention to the difference in Static ASSIGN and Dynamic ASSIGN.
Now I begin to describe the step to implement my method:
(I use transaction 'ME21', screen 121 for sample,
the method using is Call Transation Using..)
Step1: go to screen painter to display the screen 121, then we can count the fixed line on this screen, there is 7 lines above the steploop and 2 lines below the steploop, so there are total 9 fixed lines on this screen. This means except these 9 lines, all the other line is for step loop. Then have a look at steploop itselp, one entry of it will occupy two lines.
(Be careful, for table control, the head and the bottom scroll bar will possess another two fixed lines, and there is a maximum number for table line)
Now we have : FixedLine = 9
LoopLine = 2(for table control, LoopLine is always equal to 1)
Step2: go to transaction itself(ME21) to see how it roll page, in ME21, the first line of new page is always occupied by the last line of last page, so it begin with index '02', but in some other case, fisrt line is empty and ready for input.
Now we have: FirstLine = 0
or FirstLine = 1 ( in our case, FirstLine is 1 because the first line of new page is fulfilled)
Step3: write a subroutine calcalculating number of pages
(here, the name of actual parameter is the same as formal parameter)

Fill Internal Header Table for VBUK via Doc. Flow Predeces.
Good Day,
I'd executed the step Fill Internal Header Table for VBUK via Doc. Flow Predeces in System Analysis Phase. It has been running for the past 7 days. We know that the problem might be that the "update statistics" is not updated since Febraury this year, this table has 20 million records.
Is there a possibility or how or where to find how much time is left, how many records it has been analyzed for this activity?

I was able to resolve this problem with the following:
(as you told me before) Create standard M1 Index, in my case ZM1, with the field parameters VBEL, POSNV and VBELN ( MANDT it was not needed)
Using HINTS parameters from "Note 130480 - Database Hints in Open SQL for Oracle"
and changing the program: "CNV_TDMS_05_TI_I_CO_VBUK_2_C_N" in the sender system
before it was:
%_HINTS ORACLE 'full(VBFA) parallel(VBFA, 4)'. "#EC CI_NOFIRST
i was changed to:
%_HINTS ORACLE 'INDEX("&TABLE&" "VBFA~ZM1" "VBFA^ZM1")'. "#EC CI_NOFIRST
The Procedure finished successfully =)

Hi Experts,
I have master page with header and footer , and flowed content area which much dispaly table with dynamic table , if I make the
content area fit for one record the table just dispaly one record , and if I make it for ex. fit for 6 records ,if less than 6 come
the remaining space appear befor the footer , I want the footer come directly after last record how I do that , although I set the
page flowed and I wrap the table in flowed subform!

Also, check you are using Top-to-bottom instead of western flowed.

vamsi.Table maintenance generator can be generated via se11 on your table.
The advantage is that the table can manaully be updated via SM30.
If you want to transport to another client the table content, I think you can :
- Generate a transport request in SM30 ( Transport button)
- use SCC1 to transport from a client to another.

1 row created.Though that may not help always, so the next possibility maybe just using sequence with nextval and currval (currval can be used only in the same session and only after you have issued at least one nextval)

SQL> insert into b values (a_seq.currval);
1 row created.And you can use also famous returning clause. It is a bit easier to show that in the pl/sql block than pure SQL.

From SERVICE ORDER you cant get the INVOCIE NUMBER,
You will get the SALES ORDER number for that Service order in QMEL table and fetch the Sales order and then goto VBFA to get the Invoice number for the sales order with the DOCUMENT CATEGORY M.

The above code executes well with no problem at all!
As you can see the file to which i create and save and open my pdf report is
AssignedDialyzer.pdf.
The column headers of table in pdf report from c# windows forms using iTextSharp are
"Reprocessing Date","Patient Name","Dialyzer(Manufacturer,Size)","No.of Reuse","Verification" and
"DialyzerID".
However the problem i am facing is after execution and opening of document is my
column headers in table in pdf report from
c# and datas in it all appear in bold.
I have browsed through net regarding to solve this problem but with no success.
What i want is my pdf report from c# should be similar to following format which i was able to accomplish in vb6,adodb with MS access using iTextSharp.:

I have designed a webdynpro view which contains a table,i have to generate a pdf format file which also contains
a table as there in the webdynpro view.
I have designed a dynamic table in interactive form and binded the interactive form ui element with the datasource and pdfSource.
In the interactive form i am getting only one row data of webdynpro view table.In the Object palette, I selected Repeat Row For Each Data Item.

Returning from a JSF flow with faces-redirect
I'm using Glassfish 4.1 with JSF 2.2.9. I can't figure out how to return from a JSF flow with a redirect. I've tried this in the flow definition xml:

This does the redirect but results in navigation errors on the page, specifically the button that enters the flow again: "Unable to find matching navigation case from view ID '/index.xhtml' for outcome 'select-person'" (the flow is called select-person).
I've also tried appending faces-redirect=true to the action of the commandButton that exits the flow. Now the flow does not exit, it reloads the current page within the flow and says "Unable to find matching navigation case with from-view-id '/select-person/select-person.xhtml' for action 'returnFromFlow?faces-redirect=true' with outcome 'returnFromFlow?faces-redirect=true'"
Exiting the flow with h:link works, but I want to be able to call an action and submit form values with the button so that isn't a good workaround for me.
What's kind of interesting is that navigating between views within the flow DOES work with faces-redirect=true. I can add a "step2" node, and a commandButton with action="step2?faces-redirect=true", and it works. It's just exiting the flow that does not work.

Yes, since the user can do a commit prior to exiting my edit task flow, option 1 will not work for me.
Option 2 sounded feasible, but jdeveloper would not let me set the restore point to true, since my btf didn't require a transaction. Is there a step I'm missing here??
The thing that is really getting me when return via the cancel button from this edit task flow, back to my parent task flow, the record pointer is always moving back to the beginning of the data set in my parent task flow. For example,if I have a data set
rec1, rec2, rec3..
On my parent taskflow call it browser task flow, I navigate (via the next button) to rec3, and I click edit. At this point, my edit task flow kicks off, and since both task flows share the same data control, the edit task flow rec pointer is the same as the browse one.
Okay I decide I don't want to change anything in my rec3, so I click cancel.
At this point, when I return back to the navigator task flow, it points me back to rec1 ..
HOwever, the savepoint seems to fix this. When I set my cancel return from edit taskflow to savePoint = true, the rec pointer stays in the correct spot. However, I cannot always do this, because the user can make iterative saves in the edit task flow which (based on your previous email) stales out the savepoint id.
Question, so in this case, how can I make the parent browser task flow call stay on the same record I was just editing, opposed to going back to the beginning of the data set(ie. rec1)?? -
