Table maintaince askign for customization request.

Hi all,
I have created one Z table and its maintaince generator.Now i went to Sm30 and tryign to maintian data on it. While saving the data it is asking for customizing request. I dont have any customizing request.Normally it should save the data.
Please help me in this regards.

Hi Lincon,
this is asking transpot request because of below setting.
1. go to table maintenance generator screen - SE11 - Utilities - Table maintenance generator
2. check Dialog data transport details box.
Recording routine should be no, or user, recording routine to be selected to not to capture into transport request.

Customizing tables not asking for Customizing Request while saving data

Hi,
I have some customizing tables in my development server (Delivery Class = 'C').
These always used to ask for a Customizing Request whenever data was saved in them.
Suddenly, I have noticed they are no more asking for any Customizing Request. I cross-checked in the Transport Organizer and confirmed that there are no customizing requests of mine which may be already holding any data entries of these tables.
I wonder why this may be happening (believe it to be some basis configuration issue. also asked my basis guy but he has no clue).

My problem is now solved. Let me summarize the problem and the solution now.
-> The customization tables suddenly stopped asking for a request while saving data.
Somehow the settings had been reset, and as Gautham pointed out, it was corrected in the tcode SCC4
-> Most of the tables now worked fine, but still few of them didnt ask for requests
Here, I found out that the developers had chosen "no, or user, recording routine" instead of "standard recording routine". For such tables, when i check in the tcode SE54, menu path Environment -> Maintenance Objects -> Change, I find the Transport category 'No Transport'. Regenerating the maintenance generator choosing "standard recording routine" fixes this and the tables now ask for a customizing request.

Prompt for Customization Request???

Hi Geeks,
When I Started creating the Company Code. I got a popup screen saying that
"Prompt for customizing Request". what does this screen exactly mean. How to overcome it.
I do have one more question: When I started Activating the Control Area I got a message saying that
"Critical Transport:Control Indicator in Controlling Area". Does this says that the control area is activated?
A detail explanation is well appreciated.

Hi,
1: System asks you for a customizing request where your entries will be stored for later transportation to other SAP-systems. Maybe you have to create one.
You can't overcome it, you can save your changes in a customizing request that is not transported but than the question is: Why are you creating a new comp. code if you don't want to transport it...
2: The message "Critical Transport:Control Indicator in Controlling Area" means that the control indicator is changed (from non-active to active or vice versa) and such a transport can cause problems in the target system (eg you are deactivating by mistake...).

I am trying to update a table TCJ04 using transaction OPS6. When ever I am adding a new entry or edit the existing entry and click SAVE, the table is asking for Transport request number.
This table carries a master data and should not be asking for transport request. Rather its access has to be controlled by user authorisation.
Please tell me as to what is the reason of asking for transport request.

Hi Gourav,
If you go table maintanance generater of the table TCJ04 in SE11, you will find that Standard recording routine radio button is selected. That is the reason you are asked to provide transport request while updating data.

Hi There,
It is asking for the transport request for each new entry in the table since the Delivery class in the attributes is set to C( Customizing table, maintenance only by cust., not SAP import ), If it is set to "A" it will not ask for the transport request..
Try creating a custom table and play around with the Delivery class, A and C, you will come to know the difference.

Why to save standard texts in customization requests only?

Hi Experts,
I have copied standard text of SAP SCRIPTfrom one system to other development system through the report RSTXSCRP.But I want to save the standard text in Transport Request.
I have tried to do it by using report RSTXTRAN.But Its asking for customization request.
Is it mandatory to store the standard texts in Custimization requests itself?Is it not possible to save it in workbunch request?

Hi Harika,
No we can save Standard texts in BOTH Workbench request and Customizing request. It will work.
But in to save a Standard text in a Workbench request, the Sub task type has to either Development/Correction or Repair

Master table for RFQ(Request For Quotation). Field name is RFQ

I need to know the master table for RFQ(Request For Quotation) number . The field name is ANFNR . In the T.code ME42, i found that it is using the structure RM06E. But i need to know its corresponding master table

the table EKKO (EKPO Items table) and you can find the Quote number in EBELN field. Don't go by the structure / field name on the screen
Forgot to metnion that you need to use the right document category and the document type.

Customer table with delivery class 'A' asking for a request

Hello.
I've built an customer table and defined the delivery class 'A' ... Application table (master and transaction data).
Data Browser/Table View Maint. 'X' ... Display/Maintenance Allowed.
Why is this type of table definition asking for a change request to store table entries?
Please, provide some help.

Table for deleted requests information

Hi,
can any one please tell the table name where the information of all the deleted request get stored. we want the user name, time, the data target name, req id (LOG) for the deleted request to be displayed through a report.

Also,,
RSMONICDP table - there you can see requests status. Try to understand if red status means that a red request is still sitting in the data target, or it is deleted.
RSICPROT - there is a request description in the EXTNUMBER field. Some of them may contain 'DELET' word. Maybe these are deleted requests?

QM action not allowed for DTP requests in master data and Text tables

Hi,
I have a master data object load request which has failed, returned error in st22 and job finished.
BUT the request has not turned red in the monitor - it's still yellow. That means that I can not delete request nor start new load to infoprovider because it believes a request is still running. But it's not, I've checked both sm37, sm50 etc.
When trying to manually change QM status to 'red' it says 'QM action not allowed for DTP requests in master data and Text tables'
How can I force QM status to red so that I can move on?
Running NW2004s BI (7.0) Patch 15.

I know how frustrating this problem is even in netweaver 7.0 environment. I found a solution for this problem atlast and it works but a not direct way of resolving this issue.
When this request is in yellow status and not able to change / delete the request, its actually in a pseudo status and it is a bug in the program. This request sits in table RSBKREQUEST with processing type as 5 in data elements USTATE, TSTATE and this 5 is actually "Active" status which is obviously wrong.
All we need is, ask your basis person to change the status to 3 in both these data elements and then it allows to reload the delta. Once the delta is successfully loaded, you can delete the previous bad request even though it is still in yellow. Once the request is deleted, the request status gets updated as "4" in table RSBKREQUEST.

TABLE MAINTAINCE Problem Through SE54

Hi,
I have generated table maintaince view through se54 in ECC 6. I am able to see entries in ECC 6. When I transport the same to 4.6 I am not able to see the entries in 4.6c Please help me on this.

Hi venkat,
The table entries also needs to be transported in order to see it in different system.
While creating the table maintenance generator, in the frame "Dialog data transport details" use the option:
Standard recording routine.
Now, when you try to maintain sdata in that table, it'll ask for a customization request, assign the data entries to that request and transport it to the new system.

here is so many ways you can find out approvers list in SRM . in SRM there is a badi where you creating approver list and some g table is there that having approvers names . because in each organization there some customization in SRM so you have to find out that table u can get it from approvers badi . so please check there......

How to view List of Customization request in hierarchy.

Once customization is saved by an user, how to visualize all the lists of customization request saved in hierarchy wise, also provide more clarity on how to transport (Process of migration) these customization requests from one server to other.

In SE10 transaction you can see the transports, and the customizing entries within it.
Customizing entries are only tables and table entries, there is no hierarchical relationship between them.
You might know, that "this entrie is a must to create that entry", but SAP doesn't know this, it knows only tables and table entries.
The "hierarchy" is checked in those SAP standard transactions, where the customizing entries are used.
So if you wanted to write such thing, you have to write them for each customizing entries. That would be a huge work...
I think it's better for you to use the SE10 transaction.
