Table maintanance with out asking request

Dear Experts,
Please provide me one suggestion for me, that here one functional person wants
Set the tableu2019s t558B and t558C to be enabled to be maintained without a request. For in (Dev)
Here in sm30 it is maintained and I did not get that what he wants exactly and how can I solve that please solve this issue

Hi,
You can change the client settings in SCC4 such that no transports (4th option in the section cahnge and transport for client specific objects) are created during any maintenance.
But this is not a good practise as u need to do the same in all the systems in ur landscape for doing the same changes. It is always good to have the TR created as we can move the TR's to other systems and hence all the systems in the landscape will remain shyncronised.

With the iPhone, you can sync all iTunes content with only one computer. Trying to sync iTunes content with a second computer will result in iTunes erasing the content from the first computer.

Development objects in R/3 dev server are saving automatically with out asking any package and TR .
May be the development objects are saving in local package.
How can we check in which package the objects are saving
Please guide me how to solve this issue.

Howdy,
In that case check the Object Directory Entry to ensure that the objects are going to the correct package - you can also check Version Management to see which transport the objects are getting saved to.
if the objects are already locked on a transport, when you make changes it won't ask for a new transport.
Also try creating a new object and see if you get prompted for a transport then.

loads that come through PSA move to reconstruction tab after deletion so that it can be edited in PSA and loaded again. This is mostly done for delta requests to make sure that we do not loose data in any case.
There would be no point in reconstructing the load which is already there in the target guess you cant do it rather.

Is there a way that we can open the table T030H only. We would like to give our accounting department the ability to use the tcode OBA1 with out having to have the client open. We tried allowing updates to the table T030H in our production system with out having the entire client open for updates.
We could not figure out a way to allow the tocode OBA1 to work with out having our entire client open

Note:356483 can help you solve this issue!
The object is 'F30' in T-cd:SOBJ ->tick flag of "Current setting", select 'no transport' in transport field.
Please keep in mind that besides tran. OBA1, this flag will affect other transactions linked to this object F30. i.e. OB30,
OB40, OB53, OB89, OB00, OBBT...(they all use dialog 'RF_TABELLE_030'). In other words, you will not only open OBA1, but also other transactions mentioned here, in the production system.

Can I delete table data with a change request?

Hello colleagues,
There is a table (T2502) that in production system has more data (not necessary)than in the dev system, and we have created a request with the same data from the dev system, that does not have this data, but i does not remove the data that is not necessary. I have tested and the inser procedure is working fine. Do you know if the system allows to copy the table from a dev to a prd system by a request?
Which should be the most appropriate way to do this?
I have checked in SE54, generated objects, and in the "dialog data transport details" it is set to "no, or user,recording routine".
Any idea?

Moving the table by a transport request is better option.

Send updated xml file to the client with out any request

I am showing the data in the form of a table ,where the data are taken from a XML file. If i change the content of that XML file, the server should send the updated data to that client page, that means the client page should get refreshed automatically when there is a change in that XML file. I dont have any idea to implement this requirement.This is very urgent. Any suggestion would be appreciated. Already i have referred www.pushlets.com but that is not so clear. so pls............

The client is not supposed to know the server. You will need to have a periodic refresh. :)

Try starting your computer holding down the option key as soon as you hear the startup sound, and continue holding it. Hopefully, you will see the icon for your startup disk come up on your screen within a minute. Click on that icon and press return. If your machine starts up normally from there, go to System Preferences > Startup Disk and reselect your startup volume

Created Table space datafile with out .dbf Extenstion

Hi all,
by mistake I added a datafile to a table space with out .dbf extension..
ALTER TABLESPACE "MEDIA" ADD DATAFILE 'L:\ORACLE\ORADATA\MEDIAGATA02' SIZE 100M REUSE AUTOEXTEND ON NEXT 10240K MAXSIZE 32767M
I could not rename it unless I set this table space off line . But this is a production server so I could set as off-line.
1. Will my database function normally or would crash!!!..
2. with out .dbf extension will the table space function ?
3. will the data store can be retried in any case of database crash?

Check the size of the tablespace, if there aren't any data then drop the tablespace and create a new one.

why would you do that? whats your requirement?
You can use sql commands (I prefer doing it via brtools),
example
alter tablespace <name of the tablespace> add datafile '<path of the datafile>' size <size in Mb>M autoextend <on/off> next <size> maxsize <size>;

Unable to access the objects with out schema as prefix.. can any body help

i am using 10g.I have one problem like i unable to get the table access with out mention prefix for that table.
but i created public synonym and gave all grants to all users also. but still i need to mention schema name as prefix otherwise it give the error..
can any body tell me reason and give me solution.
ex: owner:eiis table:eiis_wipstock
connect to: egps schema
in this position if i try with eiis.wipstock it gives error but if i mention like eiis.wiis_wipstock then its working fine.
