TABLE MARM, ENTRIES DELETED BUT NO LOG

Hi Gurus,
We have an issue where the UOM entries were deleted from MARM and but there are no logs.
Could any body identify how could it happen?

Just follow the steps given below
Goto MM03
follow the menu path
Environment -->display changes.
This date will be available only if you do teh changes in MM02.
But if you delete the entry directky from MARM table(it is not possible by normal SAP unless you use utility prog), then you will get any data in MM03...

Hi Srinivas
Yes, You can delete the contents of changle log table but not the contents of new data and active data table.
Before deleting the change log data you have to make sure that the requests are not required for further delta extraction or for reconstruction purpose.
Steps
1. Goto Manage screen of your ods
2. Click on Environment tab and select the option " Delete change log data".
Adv:
To free up the disk space.
Assign points if it is useful for u.

No entry in key field of table MARM

Hi,
I am trying to import and create a Article Master using LSMW with IDoc method. ARTMAS IDoc is getting generated but it is showing error as No entry in Key field MARC, MVKE, etc etc and now finally stuck in No entry in key field of table MARM even after filling all possible data.
Function Module used here is BAPI_MATERIAL_MAINTAINDATA_RT. I don't know any technical aspects here to look into.
Kindly help me out with the information on what could have gone wrong here and what are the possible solutions?

Now i am stuck in somewhat a deadlock situation. and this is in MARM segment. below are the issues,
1. If I provide an entry in Alternate UOM field in MARM, Ex: EA is base unit and PC is ALT unit, I am getting an error as ' The Alternative unit of measure is same as Base unit of measure'
2. And, If i don't give an entry in ALT_UOM field (which SAP suggests, in case there is no other units than Base unit, leave the ALT-UOM field as blank), I am getting an error as "No entry in key field of table MARM"
Can you please assist in resolving this issue.

Call log entry deleting shows error "invalid selec...

there are three entries in my nokia c3 call log when i delet them the error comes "invalid selection". i had cleared all logs but they still exists. i had reset my phone but still these entries exists in my call log. how can i delet these entries from my call log. and these contact entries are now not in my contact list. but there name exist in my call log without their number and date and call duration.

I get the same message with various JRE versions (1.3.1 Blackdown, 1.3.1 Oracle, 1.1.8 Oracle).
DBCA seems to die in line 124 (with the progress bar at 19%) where it uses oracle.sysman.assistants.dbca -> maybe this one is corrupt or wrong/outdated. Maybe it would be possible to save the database generation script (like in 8.x) as a batch and then run it manually without using Java-based tools. But: where do I generate this batchfile - dbca only seems to save a XML configuration file.
Thanks for any hints. Michael At least for the lat part of my question I found an answer: the option for writing a script with the DB geneation statements is not available for the 'General Purpose' DB. When selecting 'New database' it seems to work fine.

You can't delete your purchase history, you can only hide it (in iTunes on your computer).

How do i delete single phone log entries

The iphone only lets me delete all phone log entries. However, I would like to delete single entries without deleting the entire list.
Is this possible? If not could you please add this in the next IOS release?

In iOS 5, go to your recent calls list and tap edit, then select the call to delete. You can also swipe individual calls to delete.

Maintain MARM entries for MPN material

Dear All,
We have a requirement of maintaining the Alt. UOM for the MPN material in the MARM table by deleteing the existing entries & overwrite the UOM from Parent material through LSMW. But the issue is basic data view is not supported in the MPN material, so we are not able to add or delete the MARM entries for MPN material
Has someone come across this issue earlier, or if someone can suggest any clue would be quite helpful.

Entry deleted from smq1 in R3

HI,
in case we have deleted entries from smq1 for 2LIS_02_ITM data source in R3 without running jobs that pass these entries to delta queue. i know its not advisbl todelete directly
so how we can recover data lost in BW due to this?

hello.
now we identified missing POs and filed set up tables with ranges wherever possible ..
Now my data flow in BW is as folows
data from R3 comes to DSO 1 ->DSO2->CUBE
in this DSO1 we did full repair without any selections so all data which was miisng mst have come including delivery date information for all POs as well..here actually we have addded DELIVERY date field to 2lis_02_itm data source.
now when we ran delta from DSO1 to DSO2 many records came ...till ods active table data is ok.
but on running delta from DSO2 to CUBE again many records came and here we see that data is coming from change log table of dso2 and here there are many rec for a single PO like- before iamge /after image/NEW IMAGE
i am confused what data doest it takes fwd to cube and in cube we see that 2 duplicate records coming...( 2 original data and 2 duplicate from change log..also when i did FULL REPAIR for the same PO this time no duplicate records and it was fine
can anyone advice please wht went wrong...

Delete entries for the data source in ROOSGEN, EDISEGMENT and EDSAPPL tables, both on ECC and BI sides.
Try activating the infosource again. This should solve your problem.

hi do the following
1. In Search programs and files (Windows 7) area, type in regedit, and press Enter.
2. If prompted click yes,
3. expand the following HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList
4. click the sid that related to your admin profile (if you not sure, click each sid and in turn look to the right hand side of registry editor it will show who that sid is related to one of the registry files should hae in description localhost\admin or
something similair)
5. right click the sid and press delete.
6. restart your machine and log back on with the admin account, this will then rebuild the admin profile... dont worry when it loads and none of your personal settings are saved or files or folders... go to c:\users
in here you will see two folders for the admin account, one will be just admin and the other most likely admin.localhost
i cant remember which one is which but just check both, one will still have all your files and folders in it.
i suggest making a backup of your data before doing this incase something does go wrong, but ive had this happen many times in a domain enviorment and has worked for me everytime.

How to check and delete the change logs for DSO

Hello All,
I have build a process chain that will delete the change logs for DSO prior to 7 days but when i executed it, the number of entries are still the same within DSO.
Then i tried deleting directly from "Environment" menu from DSO maintainance but does not work. Can anyone please explain how to resolve this issue or the proper process of deleting the change logs. Appreciated.

X2-01 : Blank entry in my call log!!!

I updated my X2-01 to v08.63 yesterday.It had no other problems.But now there is a blank entry in the call log and i cant delete it.I've tried the backup and restore solution for blank msg bug,but it didnot work.
Somebody please help me.....

I have similar problem without any update in the firmware. There are four blank entries are appearing in call log which are giving "Invalid selection" error on deletion.
I have already tried soft and hard refresh but no results.
Can any one know the solution?

Cost element deletion-COEP entries deletion originated from Spl purpse ledg

We have created RA GL account by mistake as cost element and some entries have already gone into table COEP table. To delete cost element the prerequisite is that cost element shouldn't contain any entries. We have deleted COEP entries by using program "RKACOR20 : to delete CO documents for the GL doc and its reversal document" generated from FI, but unable to delete one entry which has got originated from Special purpose ledger. Can any one suggest way to delete this entry from COEP table.

SUDO is causing entries in the console log. A Virus?

I was looking through my OSX installation and I found this mysterious file placed in my Application Support Folder in my library:
username/library/application support/7103555
It is named "7103555" and it is a Unix Executable File (according to "Get Info")
I am worried it might be a virus. I don't recall putting it there. The only time I used terminal so far was to open a Profile Manager for Mozilla Thunderbird. I see that it mentions PrinterNotification and I do recall installing an HP printer driver. Is that where it might have come from. Is this normal? May I delete it? Should I reset something back in console? I am not sure what to do here.
Should I be concerned?

How to delete soamanager's log data?

I know the log data and traces saved in table SRT_MONLOG_DATA2 and SRT_MONI_PAYLTRC,
But I don't know whick standard functin or TCdoe can delete the log data and traces,

you cannot. not even in a test system.
of course you can delete the structure from customizing, but this does not make the data go away. Contrary, you may just get a lot of errors when you touch this data.
You usually have to archive all trasnactonal and master data . But you can only archive closed business processes, which is for most data in the test system not the case.
