Table not active in Dictionary

Hi All,
I have a simple question here ... when I run t.code SE16 -
> type in table RSSELDTP -
> receive a message "Table RSSELDTP is not active in Dictionary" . What is the cause of it ... how do I go about it.

Have you clearly read the notes, see the below line;

Solution
Caution:
Before you implement the advance corrections, you must call transaction SE11 and create the table RSSELDTP in the package RSSM with the storage parameters data type = APPL0 and size category = 8 with the following fields:
FieldKeyInitial valuesData element
RNR X X RSREQUID
SELOPT X CHAR128
The table should be created in the delivery class "L".
"The table for storing temporary data is delivered empty"
So you must create that table as shown in the notes before making the corrections given in the notes.

Hello Ileana,
I've never seen "???" in an information structure (IS), or in the corresponding database table. Where do you get it? In SE11 for the database table, or in MC23 for the IS?
The IS are based on so called communication structures (e.g. MCIPM and MCIQF for the Plant maintenance information structures). Have you enhanced the communication structures for your application? If so, perhaps you have transported the IS and the field catalogues, but not the enhancement of this communication structures?
The (IS) is a self defined inforstructure. Correct?
For which type of application have you defined it (you can find it in transaction MC23, when you display the IS).
Where do you get the error message?
Only some questions to locate the error.

Hello experts,
I have a transaction - VKOA. I get the following error on executing this t-code. The program used by this t code is SAPL089C.
The error is
Runtime errors         SYNTAX_ERROR
Occurred on     11/23/2009 at   05:12:58
Syntax error in program "SAPL089C ".
What happened?
The following syntax error occurred in the program SAPL089C :
"The Dictionary structure or table "*C865" is either not active or does not exist."
Error in ABAP application program.
The current ABAP program "SAPLSVIM" had to be terminated because one of the
statements could not be executed.
This is probably due to an error in the ABAP program.
Error analysis
The following syntax error was found in the program SAPL089C :
The Dictionary structure or table *C865 is either not active or does not exist.
Please suggest a suitable solution to this problem...

I will try the solution propesed by Max.
In the meantime, I would like to confirm if there is something related to SAP Note # SAP Note 72121. Refer the following details from the note.
Symptom
When you maintain account determination (FI or SD), you get the error
message:
The DDIC structure or table "*C400" is not active or does not exist.
OR
The system writes a dump with DBIF_NTAB_TABLE_NOT_FOUND, C400 was not
found.
C401 can also appear instead of C400.
Additional key words
Tables C400, C401.
Program: SAPL089C, L089CT00
Transaction: VKOA
Solution as per the note
1. Execute the program RV12A002. On the selection screen, enter Usage C,
Tables 400 to 401.
WARNING: Make sure that you only delete C400 and C401!
Execute the program.
2. Execute program RV12A001. On the selection screen, enter Usage C and
mark 'Reports & Screens'.
Can there be sometihing similar to this for C865 table as well. Just a thought.

The table RSPFL_FDIR is not active in the dictionary

When I am trying to edit the table RSPFL_FDIR, It is giving the Error message as The table RSPFL_FDIR is not active in the dictionary". Can somebody tell me how to activate this table.

Contact your basis team. Or do it yourself, just go to trx. se11 or se14 and activate the table.

Sintax error in COPA- Table T2580 does not exist or is not active

hi to all
i am doing configuration for T.C KES1 in CO-PA
while doing this i am getting SINTAX ERROR saying that T2580 DOES NOT EXIST OR IS NOT ACTIVE.
I checked with standard program this table is used by standard SAP PROGRAM
programe name SAPL0KEA
but this table contain no data

This is a know issue in CO-PA. You need to apply three notes and the issue will be resolved.
Please run report RKEAGENV as described in the attached 64490.
If running report RKEAGENV will cause another error concerning operating concern E_B1 please copy the report ZJBREOFC from the correction in-
structions in the attached note 872175, activate and execute it.
If after applying note 872175 you receive a new short dump, please
execute report RKEAGENF to eliminate the error so that the program
RKEAGENV could then be executed without error and thus the characteris-
tic maintenance should work again.
Please also implement note 942785 into your system.

Table VBRP and VBAP could not actived

My system is SAP ERP IDES ECC 6.0 SR2. After importing the support package SAP_APPL from 006 to the newest 016, when I try to user VA03 , the system raise a dump, after check the error information, I found it caused by Table VBAP and VBRP not actived correctly.

12c: redaction_policies table not visible in dba_tables, dictionary

The table redaction_policies is visible when we describe it or search tab but is not listed in dictionary or dba_tables.

I'd say I wouldn't expect it to be returned from dba_tables, since it's a datadictionary view, just like V$SESSION etc.
SQL> select * from dba_tables where table_name = 'V$SESSION';
no rows selected
However, based on the docs:
Configuring Oracle Data Redaction Policies
I'd expect to see it returned from dictionary, just like:
SQL> select * from dictionary where table_name = 'V$SESSION';
TABLE_NAME
COMMENTS
V$SESSION
Synonym for V_$SESSION
1 row selected.
But, since I'm not on 12c now, I can't really add much more.

DDNTF and DDNTT tables does not exixts in dictionary.

Hi,
After upgrade,tables DDNTF and DDNTT does not exists in dictionary when executing tcode SE11 but I can see DDNTX tablein SE11.
Although when basis person executes some query,its readings reading table DDNTF after taking long time.
Plz help me why these tables are not visible through SE11 tcode.

the table is not activated check the domain and data element also. check out if it is a structure. or check the technical settings is maintained for that table?

Customise table inconsistency between ABAP Dictionary and the databas

Hi all,
I have encountered a problem where by, I was not able to activate a table due to inconsistency between ABAP Dictionary and the database.
After I run the SE14--> Check Database object. It has show that there is a missing Unique Index(Primary Index) at the Database Level, but at ABAP Dictionary it is there.
I have try to recreate the primary index at the Database level, but failed. Because one of the primary key field is been dropped from this table.
So now, may I know how can I still make this table Active again?
Is it save to folllow the following solution that I found on internet?
Syntax error in SDCC, table inconsistency between ABAP Dictionary and the database, transport error 8 during the generation of ABAP Dictionary. When you call Transaction SDCC, a termination occurs due to a putative syntax error because a table is not known or active. When you check this with the ABAP dictionary (SE11), you notice, that the table is active or inactive, however it is not possible to activate it. The activation might terminate with the error message 'Inconsistency between ABAP Dictionary and database'. A check of the affected object also delivers this error.
Solution
Proceed as follows:
Log on as user DDIC
Call Transaction SE14
Enter the affected table name and
select EDIT
In the following screen, choose Table -> Reconstruct
Confirm the execution
Call Transaction SE11
Enter the affected table name
Display
Activate

Enter the affected table name and
select EDIT
In the following screen, choose Table -> Reconstruct

Call Transaction SE11

Transfer Structure not Activated

Table /BIC/B0000879000 must be created in the database
I am getting this error when i try to activate the transfer structure for 0material infosource. everything was fine before i tried to restore the R/3 Source Connection from RSA1 and right click on Source system and select Restore.
Its not activating any Transfer Structure now......Says table must be created....Though it should activate itself.....
I checked it in the ABAP Dictionary .. the table is not there at all....
Somebody please help me...

always the Activate the Source system connection after the Restore...
Once thats done.. then try replicating the DS and activate the TS.. and then proceed with the loads..

Dump : Table not found in oracle database

Hi,
I am doing a program regarding analysis of tables belonging to archiving objects.In my program i am calling a RFC function module . 'DB02_ORA_TABLE_INDEX_ANALYSIS . But it is giving the dump for native sql statement .

Dump is table not found in database.
Could please let me know what setting i am missing...

Hi,
the view V$PARAMETER must be accessed through SAP/Oracle Database Monitor lets you view the active Oracle database parameters and the contents of the init.ora file.
Alternatively, you can use transaction st04. You need to apply SAP Note 706927 before using the database monitor.

I don't know EG01 transaction, but if SAP says "material 5 does not exist " then SAP is usually right.
Can you give an evidence that material 5 exists? e.g. screenshot from SE16 at table MARA, MARC and MAST
