Table outlines disappeared

Hi
Maybe i've missed something in this new version of Pages.  I have several documents setup with Tables, created in the previous version of Pages.  Since upgrading the Tables seem to have lost their grid lines.  The outline box is still there to denote there was something there but the grid has gone.
Does anybody know how to re-show them?
Thanks
Kiran

Kiran,
What in Pages 4 was split between the Table Inspector and the Graphics Inspector is now in Version 5 split between Format > Table (Table Border and Table Grid) and Format > Cell (Cell Border controls). Table Fill was lost, Grid control was gained, I think, but I don't profess to fully understand Grid Controls yet.

  • Table headings disappearing in pdf?

    Why are some table headings disappearing when I pdf a Frame 8 file? There is no pattern in the disappearances and each time I pdf the file, a different cell heading disappears. If I create a text box and paste that box over the heading, it shows up fine in the pdf, but that's a dumb way to work. This all started happening in the last month, after I changed computers. Thanks for the help!!

    This is the message I get right now when I save to pdf. If I print to a prn, it doesn't open at all. I used to have a tool that converted the prn automatically at my old job, but there's nothing on the new job's computer and no IT help available. I've been doing a workaround by printing the TOC and the document separately and just adding the TOC to the new pdf, but now when I'm trying to pdf a large document (without TOC) that used to pdf just fine (with TOC), I'm getting the following message. I've just pdf'd chapters 7 & 8 with no problem whatsoever.

  • Table toolbar disappeared in the screen reader mode in Oracle ADF

    I have a validation message box(pop up) opening from a button action from page fragment(jsff) page and in screen reader mode the message box shows up as default on the same page instead of pop up message box and
    and below the message box there is this message information "Press escape to exit this popup." and when I click ESC key it then shows up the main default page with the table toolbar disappeared. In the screen reader mode the ADF framework is taking total control over the showing message box as default on the same page instead of pop up message box and showing below message " Press escape to exit this popup.". My question is how to edit this page and is there any way to get rid of below message information. I also want to know does ADF provide any API in screen reader mode to control the table toolbar disappearing. I really appreciate any help or advice or any work around to solve this issue.
    Eagerly waiting for the response.
    Thanks in advance

    I'm using JDeveloper 11g (11.1.1.4.0) which has come with accessibility feature(screen reader mode). I have no idea of which version of screen reader that Jdeveloper IDE has.
    I use IE 7 browser and it is mandatory I have to use IE7 browser for this project. All I need help is how to get control of web page( jspff) when we use in accessibility mode. we configure like this
    in trinidad-config.xml file.
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="windows-1252"?>
    <trinidad-config xmlns="http://myfaces.apache.org/trinidad/config">
    <skin-family>myskin</skin-family>
    <accessibility-mode>#{accessibility.accessibilityMode}</accessibility-mode>
    </trinidad-config>
    for example like in this jspff file :
    <af:panelStretchLayout
    id="panelStretchLayout1" topHeight="#{accessibility.accessibilityMode == 'screenReader' ? '137px' : 'auto'}"
    startWidth="auto">
    <af:panelCollection binding="#{backingBeanScope.backing_pageFragements_.panelCollection2}"
    id="panelCollection2">
    <f:facet name="menus"/>
    <f:facet name="toolbar">
    <af:toolbar binding="#{backingBeanScope.backing_pageFragements_.toolbar1}"
    id="toolbar1"
    shortDesc="Toolbar">
    I'm using like this, let me know I'm doing correct or is there any other way we can do to avoid toolbar to disappear.
    I appreciate your help.

  • When cropping a pattern solid designs are visible but outlines disappear?

    I have just started designing patterns in illustrator. I have designed a couple with no problems cropping in the end. But I have had trouble with a couple. And today I figured out that the parts of the patters that do not have solid filled colors are fine ... but after I crop the parts of the flowers that are just outlines disappear. As you can see I hardly know enough about all of this to maybe even properly ask this question.
    For example my current pattern has solid flower and flower outlines. Once I crop the solid flowers are there but the outlines disappear. And I have nothing grouped or locked. I followed seamless pattern instructions I found online.
    Hopefully there is someone out there that has a simple solution for me. I would appreciate the help!
    Thank you

    photojnki,
    Cropping removes the stroke. If you click the hollow Stroke square near the bottom of the Toolbox and then click Color below it to the left, you should be able to restore the stroke of whatever is selected, either the whole group or, if DirectSelected, the individual path(s) desired. You can see what is selected in the Layers palette.

  • Table Columns Disappearing in Editor

    After importing HTML files from another project, I'm having problems with the second column disappearing in tables in the editor when viewing a topic.
    If I go to the file in Windows Explorer and click on it, it comes up perfectly in IE 8, but if imported, anything to the right of the first column is missing on all tables in the file.
    Any suggestions?

    Here's some of the markup from the file in Window's Explorer and from the Robo Editor:

  • Table header disappearing

    I've been scratching my heads for hours and still can't understand why this is happening. I have two JDialog. One to display the table, let's call it Dialog 1, and the other to display the row details, Dialog 2. When Dialog 2 displays on top of the table headers and you close the dialog, the column headers seems to disappear. I've checked and rechecked the code to see if there's anything funky but I can't see any problems with this. The code is displayed below.

    Hmmm...Interesting. If you add paymentTable.updateUI(); after any edits or adds, the whole column headers disappear. It only seems to happen when the 2nd modal dialog is on top of the column header. If it is not, the application works fine. I've tested this against 1.4.2 and 1.5 beta and it i get the same result.

  • Adding an html comment causes entire table to disappear in CC Design view

    Doing some tweaks to a page in the html editor in DW CC and adding a simple comment <!--BEGIN MAIN TABLE-->  causes the extensive table beneath it to disappear from the design view pane.  But the html is still there in the html editor and the page still appears correctly in a browser. Refresh Design View does nothing. At first I kept Undo'ing it to get back to where I was before adding the comment. Then I thought maybe if I saved the doc after adding the comment it would refresh correctly, but it didn't. Quitting and rebooting DW doesnt help.
    What gives? Now the Design view table is gone.  I can't work like this, without seeing the page I'm working on...
    I can make this same thing happen over and over - which seems to indicate a bug in DW CC...
    I know you pro's are anti-tables but I'm stuck with tables right now...

    Ok I understand about dl'ing files, np.  Heres the page in progress:   {link temporarily removed}  with 2 duplicate table elements below the first, one in the center I was adjusting/adding comment DW has disappeared, the other at bottom intact for backup. Here's what the disappeared version  looks like in DW:
    CC:
    The layout is simple and DW shouldn't prevent me from doing this: I know it could be done with div's and CSS but I'm not going to practice and perfect that for this right now, its already torture enough using DW for this simple thing. It needs to stay as nested tables.
    Despite any method of working - adding a comment should not create this hassle.
    Thanks for trying to help!

  • CS4 + CS5 Brush CURSOR outline disappear when increase the brush size

    Hi
    In Photoshop CS4 and CS5, the outline of the brush cursor starts to disappear when you increase the brush size.
    It's OK under 65px in diameter and it's start to disappear over 66px. In 438px the outline is a single dot and over 439px the cursor outline is completely gone!
    I read that it's caused by the old drivers for the video card. I'm using GeForce 8800GT and I updated the driver with the latest version form the nVidia web site. The problem is still here!
    HELP?

    I'm seeing a bit of a pattern of multiple people reporting problems with nVidia 8800 cards.  I'm thinking nVidia isn't testing new drivers against this particular model very intensively.  See my comments on video cards and drivers in this thread:

  • Drawing outline Disappears? (CS5)

    Hi, I just upgraded from Flash CS3 to CS5 and when I draw something and try to convert it to a movie clip, duplicate it, etc. the entire drawing's outline just disappears. Am I doing something wrong? Here's an example of what I'm talking about:

    Possibly (CS5 has a new/different file format), but it shouldn't. Is it just that one instance (the chicken?)
    If you still have CS3, maybe pasting that one instance into a new document in CS3 would work. If not, if you can save it in a new CS5 document I could save it back to CS3 and then resave to CS5 and try reproducing. Not sure if that would work, as I'm not an expert in that area of the product (file format change).

  • Table content disappearing when PDF'ing in FrameMaker 10

    Recently when I've pdf'd a book in FrameMaker 10, some of the content in the tables is missing. It can be either text or graphics and usually occurrs towards the start of the book, but it won't be throughout the book. This doesn't happen with every book, only the odd one, but is very frustrating.
    If I pdf the individual Frame file, it works perfectly, some of these files have been used in previous books and the books pdf'd OK with no problems. The computer is running Windows 7 with 12 GB of RAM.
    Any ideas?

    Actually, I had similar issue, but it was FM.  Occasionally, when I did a Save as PDF or Save as with HTML, FM went on for a few moment then stoped saving with an error message along the line: Cannot create <some file name>...  It kept doing the same thing for several tries until I deleted the previously generated files, then all would be well for a while, until the next time...  I don't know it had anything to do with the generated files (PDF or HTML) being opened on a web-browser at the moment.  Yet, as I remembered prior to that and verified afterward, in those times that went without such error, those files were being opened as well.  Thanks!
    PS: I'm using FrameMaker 11

  • Table lines disappearing ? is it possible ?

    Hello everyone,
    Is it possible to make disapear the lines that draw a table, only remaining the rows content visible ?
              thank you in advance.

    Hi,
    Yes. You can set the design property as transparent and readonly property to true.

  • Table data disappeared??

    Opened an existing document containing a table with data in multiple columns and rows.  At top of document, clicked "Insert|Table," thinking I'd get a new table above the old table.  The new table is there, with a few rows and columns -- but I can't find the old table anymore!!  I closed the document without clicking, then re-opened it, but I still see just the new table.  I'm a new Pages user; haven't had time to take a class yet.  Sorry if this is a dumb question!

    sparker,
    Pages automatically saves changes that you make to your documents.  You cannot exit the app or close a document and think that changes made since you last saved will be discarded.
    You can try to open the document again and select File > Revert To.  The submenu Browse All Versions, if enabled, will show you a cascading window with older versions that have been saved.  Hopefully you will be offered the option to Restore the document before the new table was inserted.
    Even with Pages version backup facility it is important to back up your entire system frequently.

  • LaTeX table rules disappear when using Adobe Reader

    Hi,
    I created a PDF document using LaTeX and used the LaTeX command \cellcolor to create colored cells in tables. When I view the document with the Adobe Reader some table rules of colored cells dissapear. This is not the case when using Preview on a Mac. The lines become visible when I zoom into the document (>300%) and when I print from Adobe Reader. Hence, it seems to be a problem with the rendering that Adobe Reader does. According to various disscussions on the internet many people seem to have similar problems. However, nobody provided a good solution for it.
    Any suggestions to solve the problem?
    Thanks in advance,
    Sebastian
    Adobe Reader screen shot:
    Preview screen shot:

    I am not quite sure if it is a problem with the pdf generator since the problem is not present when using other pdf viewers or when zooming in with Adobe Reader. It might be a problem of the Adobe Reader.

  • Table columns disappear by using keycolums

    Hi there,
    i have the following problem on my stack14 pde. I visualize a htmlb tableview inside a jspdynpage, hide a key column by using the method tv.setColumnInvisible("id"); and it works. the tablemodel is stored inside a bean with scope session.
    if i request this dynpage again, e.g. by clicking a button and visualize the tableview twice the last column dissapear.
    Any ideas, what's going wrong?
    Thanks in advance!

    problem solved, if someone interesed...
    the default table model has a column vector and a visible column vector. if you hide a column by name, then by SAP implementation the runtime drop the column by index, e.g. "id" is the first, causes the first column is dropped. in the second run on the table hiding the column "id" - default table model is really clever and drop the first colum again --> this causes the error
    --> suggestion to SAP core implementation, check before droping the columns from vector visiblecolumns, if still exist. this would avoid some unlike behaviour.
    good night!

  • Table colors disappeared after replacing a theme

    Hello,
    I have developed a certain table in Web Dynpro with rows in different colors: Problematic rows are painted in red, proper rows are painted in green.
    Everything is working OK.
    At this point I have replaced the standard theme to a custom one I've created and in this one I don't see the rows being colored at all.
    I went to the Complex Elements->Tables section in my theme but I can see all the colors there inside the preview sample table.
    What else do I need to check in there?

    Anyone.....?
