Table's  Properties "row color"[standard;alternating;trans.] doesn't work?

Table's  Properties "row color"[standard;alternating;transparent] doesn't work?
Upgraded VC to 7.01 with sp1, the table's grid color not change with the row color set.
But set the nested  iview to show on the layer,the "row color" worked.
But Why? why doesn't work in the primary iview.

Hi
Once this happened to me also. I deleted the table & created whole thing again & it worked.
Just try to create whole thing again atleast that table. it may work.

  • Standard web template doesn't work

    Hi,
    I am currently experiencing difficulties when executing query from query designer and using Java web from RSRT.
    I get this error message  The Web template "WEB_TEST" does not exist in the master system every time.
    The web template "WEB_TEST" shouldn't exist in BI 7 because it belongs to BW 3.X and I don't know why I keep on getting this error message.
    I have set the standard web template from RSCUSTV27 to 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN and even make the fields empty but I still get the error message.
    If I use RSCUSTV21 and change the settings  I can easily see the result.
    Can someone tell me why I can still get this error message and where can I set my default web template because SPRO settings doesn't work
    thanks

    Hi,
    Default template 0Analysis_pattern wasn't changed or edited and I have installed it from Business content again and changed the settings from RSCUSTV27.
    I think the settings that points to default template in Java web has changed. and I don't know if this was done in portal side or BI.
    I can easily change the template settings back and front in ABAP Web (RSCUSTV21) and it works just fine.change
    I made a work around solution by copying 0Analysis_pattern and renaming it to "WEB_TEST" template and Java web works properly.
    so settings is pointing to WEB_TEST template and this template doesn't exist in the new BI. Its in BW 3.X
    thanks

  • CUSTOM ROW FETCH USING PLSQL BLOCK DOESN'T WORK

    Hello,
    I'm using Apex 3.0, and I'm trying to use a anonymous block to populate page items instead of automatic row fetch. Apparently the block works fine but the page doesn't display the items with the values that I fetched.
    I'm using something like:
    Declare
    v_test varchar2(10);
    begin
    select name into v_test from emp where emp_no=:p10_id;
    :p10_name:=v_test;
    end;
    Does anyone have a clue ? The process is defined to run on "OnLoad - After header", but I've tried other options, but the results are the same: P10_name appears blank.
    thank you for your help
    JAV

    But there is a catch.....on the item definition, the "SOURCE USED" must be set to "Only when current value in session is null", otherwise, it doesn't show what you want.
    Cheers

  • PR release strategy and Standard Workflow suddenly doesn't work

    Good day,
    I have PR release strategy and Workflow activated. My workflow is copied from standard PR release workflow in SAP. The only changes I made in the WF is Agent Assignment. It worked like a wonder.
    However this week when I was creating PR, Release Strat still works but WF doesn't kick in. No change was done to both PR release strat and WF.
    Any help/suggestion for this? Is there a period of activation in WF?
    Regards,
    Si

    Hi Diwakar,
    I was able to activate it already yesterday. What I did was to test the workflow in SWDD. After the test, all workflow items were created. Am still wondering though why WF would suddenly stop (not generate workflow items) even with no changes made.
    Thanks for the info and link. Points awarded.

  • Table row colors alternating

    Hello Everyone,
    I'm trying in the configure properties of a table change the row colors to alternating, but it has no effect.
    It always remains the same formating, i.e., every row with the same blue color.
    I only can set it to alternating if the table is marked in the properties as editable (Editing condition = true). It doesn't make any sense! I do not want the user to change the cells of the table, but still want to use alternating colors, and it is not possible.
    I'm using Visual Composer 7.01 with SP5
    Does anyone have any idea?

    I have elements 13 on an apple mac but the color switch button sometimes doesn't work.

    It probably can't be turned on at all. I suspect that your liquid damage has finally died a corrosion death on your logic board.
    All you can do at this point is take the machine into your local Apple Store/AASP and have them diagnosis the problems and give you an estimate for repair.

  • Report Template - Standard, Alternating Row Colors

    I'm using APEX 4.1.0 and theme 22 on Oracle 10g.
    I have some tabular forms in my application. For 2 of those, row deletions are allowed and I have the usual select box column to manage the row deletions. Also my users like the "Standard, Alternating Row Colors" report template and would like to see the alternating row colors whenever possible. Unfortunately I get the "Error on page." browser error in IE when I check a row selector box using this template. When I use a different report template I don't get this error.
    The tabular form functions correctly so this error is harmless, but I would like to know what it is for. I'm sure my users would rather not see that error.
    By the way, in Firefox the firebug error count increases and I get the following error in the console:
    TypeError: can't convert undefined to object
    [Break On This Error]
    ...ovedColor)}gLastRowMoved=b}function html_RowUp(e,d){var c=$x_UpTill(e,"TR");ie_R...
    apex_4_1.min.js (line 18)Because all of the whitespace has been helpfully removed :) it's hard to see which expression is undefined and why.
    Any ideas?

    Hi Jackie,
    There must be some issues the apex_4_1.min.js file, try to reload it. In apex.oracle.com the tabular form with "Standard, Alternating Row Colors" just works fine.

  • Apex 4 -- Standard, Alternating Row Colors row highlight broken

    template: 14. Standard, Alternating Row Colors in apex 4.0 appears to have it mouse-over row highlight colors reversed (except for the first row, which is not highlighted)
    when first displayed, the rows are displayed white/gray/white...
    mousing over the first row does nothing, mousing out does nothing
    mousing over the 2nd row does nothing, mouse out changes it to white
    mousing over the 3rd row does nothing, mouse out changes it to gray
    etc

    I noticed this behavior too, very annoying. Did someone found a way to fix the template ?

  • Duplicating the "Standard, Alternating Rows Colors" report template

    The built-in theme 5 comes with a report template called "Standard, Alternating Rows Colors". This theme's template type is defined as "Generic Columns". I need to create a duplicate of this report template that has a template type of "Named Columns" instead of "Generic Columns".
    I've tried to create a brand new report template using the "Named Columns" template type and then copy/paste the appropriate HTML code from the original to the new one. Obviously there are some options in the "Generic Columns" template type that are not in the "Named Columns" template type, and vice versa, but I copied over what I thought was appropriate.
    No matter what I do, I don't seem to come close to having my copy look like the original. I've looked over the Report Template section of the User Guide, but that hasn't helped. Any suggestions on how to accomplish what I'm trying to do?

    Hi Jackie,
    There must be some issues the apex_4_1.min.js file, try to reload it. In apex.oracle.com the tabular form with "Standard, Alternating Row Colors" just works fine.

  • Pivot table alternating row colors

    Hello,
    In ADF 11g, is it possible to format a pivot table so row colors will alternate? 1st row gray, second row white, 3rd row gray and so on..
    Can i determine which row is a DataCellContext object in ?
    Thanks.

    Any ideas ? I still could not find a way to give alternate row colors to a pivot table.

  • How to Replicate Standard Alternating Colors using XSL-FO??

    Hi All
    I am using Apex_3.1, Apache fop and Standard Report Printing to produce PDF reports. We would like to replicate the theme 12 (Blue) standard alternating colors in our PDF output.
    I do realise that this involves modifying the xsl-fo and have tried putting color attributes in the xsl-fo (Generic Columns). I know I can just put the color in the apex print settings but that doesn't give me the alternating colors.

  • Row coloring in WD table (not ALV) based on condition

    HI All,
    I have created WD table with 8 columns
    8 Th columns is “color “   type wdui_table_cell_desgin
    All 7 are bounded to table except color.
    Depending on my condition I am passing the domain values colors
    Loop at itab into WA.
    Ex: if wa-abc = ‘ABC’.
        Wa-color = 27
    Modify statement …….
    End loop.
    I followed the below link .

    My problem is WD Table row is not coloring, any suggestion or related links
    Will be awarded. If iam in wrong way please correct me.
    Thanks
    Gopal

    Hi Gopal,
    There are two posibilities that, your Table row/cell coloring is not working
    1:
              Make sure that you have bound the columns "CellDesign" property to COLOR attribute as below
         Note: If you need to color whole ROW, then you need to bind the cellDesign of all columns to COLOR, otherwise, only respective cells gets colored.
    2. Make sure that the property "Design" of table should not be set to "ALTERNATING", because it overrides the color. Hence, set the design of table to "standard"
    Hope this resolves your issue.

    It's a bit outdated, and trying to figure out how to get to this page: http://img7.imageshack.us/img7/4782/columntemplate.jpg in APEX 4.2 where I can conditionally set background color.
    I am using theme 13 (legacy) and made a copy of the report region. Edited it but cannot find an equivalent section of that apex 3.1 screenshot.
    Any help appreciated.

    I sure was :) Cheers for pointing it out.
    Just another question, there are 4 options for the #COLUMN_VALUE# which I have background color conditionally (just like in that screenshot) based on one of the column values. The column can be of 1..5 values, however I only have 4 conditions to work with in the template editor.
    So what APEX is doing is since it can't find a 5th matching condition, it picks the very first one and applies it on it (even though the condition doesn't match).
    Is there anyway I can incorporate a 5th option/condition for column templates? Cheers.Not using that technique. There are a couple of options: another template-based approach using a custom named column report template, or using jQuery. I generally prefer the template method as everything runs on the server.
    1. Start by including a column containing the condition logic to generate a class value in the report query:
    select
            , case
                when sal < 1000 then 'low'
                when sal between 1000 and 2000 then 'medium'
                when sal > 2000 then 'high'
              end sal_class
    from
              empThen create a custom named column report template:
    2. Go to: Shared Components > Templates > Create
    3. In the wizard select: Report > From Scratch
    4. Enter/select:
    Name: [Name for this template]
    Theme: [Your current theme]
    Template Class: Custom 1
    Template Type: Named Column (row template)
    5. Click Create.
    6. Click the Status Report link in the Templates report.
    7. Enter the following properties:
    Row Template 1
    <tr class="#SAL_CLASS#"><td>#1#</td><td>#2#</td>...include a cell with a column substitution for every column in your report...</tr>i.e. the column with the conditional logic in the query is used to apply the required class to the row.
    Before Rows
    <!-- Copy the Before Rows definition from the Standard report template for your current theme and paste here -->
    <tr><th>#1#</th><th>#2#</th>...include a header with a column substitution for every column in your report...</tr>
    After Rows
    <!-- Copy the After Rows definition from the Standard report template for your current theme and paste here -->Add CSS to style the rows:
    8. Edit the Page CSS Attributes for the report page:
    Inline
    tr.low td { background-color: yellow; }
    tr.medium td { background-color: white; }
    tr.high td { background-color: red; }9. Change the report to use the new template.
    For the alternative jQuery approach, Tom created an example for this thread: +{thread:id=2487955}+

  • Want robust solution for alternating row color, resetting every group

    I would like a solution for displaying an alternating row color for my detail rows that resets every group, so that row 1 is always gray.
    Our Crystal designer provided this code to me:
    @rowcnt formula, suppressed, placed in Detail row:
    Shared numbervar rowcnt;
    rowcnt := rowcnt + 1;
    @resetrowcnt, suppressed, placed in Group row:
    Shared numbervar rowcnt;
    rowcnt := 0;
    Formatting formula, placed in Color in Detail > Section Expert:
    Shared numbervar rowcnt;
    if Remainder(rowcnt, 2) <> 0 then
    color(241,241,241)
    else
    crWhite
    This was working fine for me.
    However, it is suddenly not working in one of my reports.
    The report does happen to have two groups (rowcount.png).
    When the report is run, all rows are colored (rowcount02.png).
    This report was previously working fine!  I'm not sure what changed.
    In any case... surely there must be standard code to do this very standard formatting.
    I would be very grateful if someone could post some robust code to accomplish the following:
    REPORT DATA IN DETAIL ROW, ALTERNATE ROW BANDING:
    - Data in Detail row displays alternating row colors
    - Odd rows are always shaded, even rows not
    - Banding resets every group / does not continue pattern from previous group
    REPORT DATA IN GROUP ROW, ALTERNATE ROW BANDING:
    Some of our reports place row data in a group row (just the way it happened).
    If you could also modify your code in this case.
    Thank you!

    Hi Abhilash/Sastry, since I'm going to switch to Sastry's formulas, could you please confirm correctness of the following. I can't actually run this report, I can only provide it to our London office, bit of a lag for testing.
    @resetrowcnt:
    Whileprintingrecords;
    Numbervar cnt:=0;
    @rowcnt:
    Whileprintingrecords;
    if {HedgeDetails.StrategyID} <> previous({HedgeDetails.StrategyID}) and
    {HedgeDetails.DealID} <> previous({HedgeDetails.DealID}) then
         Numbervar cnt:=cnt+1;
    Details section (Suppress):
    not(OnFirstRecord) and
    {HedgeDetails.StrategyID}=previous({HedgeDetails.StrategyID}) and
    {HedgeDetails.DealID}=previous({HedgeDetails.DealID})
    Please note: Suppress checkbox is selected AND the above formula is entered.
    Details section (Color):
    Whileprintingrecords;
    Numbervar cnt;
    if cnt mod 2 <> 0 Then color(241,241,241) else crwhite

  • Alternate row color for table question

    I'm alternating the row color on a table, and if I have a
    <a href> in
    the table, the background behind the <a href> isn't the
    same as the row
    color based on:
    <tr bgcolor="###iif(currentrow mod
    2,de('ffffff'),de('efefef'))#">
    Is there a way to have the CSS that formats the <a
    href> change at the
    same time as the background color for the row??

    How about a way to do it without having to learn something
    else (like a
    framework??)
    Anyone done something like what I'm looking to do? Just
    change the <a href>
    formatting to go along with the inline iif shown below?
    <tr bgcolor="###iif(currentrow mod
    2,de('ffffff'),de('efefef'))#">
