Table SMOXHEAD contains no BDOC name

Hi all,
As we are crosschecking data in RSA3 for the datasource 0CRM_CONFIRM_I giving like infosource/Infoobject need to be maintained.
Later we come to know that the datasource 0CRM_CONFIRM_I was not maintained in BWA5 tcode.
I have given this datasouce in BWA1 and clicked on check button,its takes me to next screen giving error like " Table SMOXHEAD contains no BDOC name" .
Can any one explain me how to solve this problem?
and also if want to create BDOC for theis datasource how can we do it?(Please explain it in step by step)

Table which contains name of the report generated from table

Hello everyone,
Is there any table which stores the report names that are created from table.
For example if my table name is 'ABC' a new report will be created for table at run time '/1BCDWB/DB/ABC'.
I also need to have table names, which stored the values when a layout is changed
For example if I have ten fields in my table, first time ill choose 5 fields, second time ill change the layout and choose 10 fields and ill save the layout.
If any Function modules are there please let me know

Which table containes dimension member names in planning database

I want know which table in Planning database contains dimension member names. I have tried looking at the HSP_ACCOUNT and HSP_ENTITY tables but those have member IDs only and not the member names.

Intenal table as container variable in the alert category

Hi
Is it possible to create internal table as Container Variable in the alert category. If it is possible how can we pass the data to this internal table in the Run time to the funtion module SALRT_CREATE_API.I have tried this to pass the data to the container parameter
it_container ,but i was unable to achive it .If anyone has come across this please guide me .

You can use the Forms "From Clause Query" as the datasource for the data block. Then you can change the QUERY_DATA_SOURCE_NAME using set_block_property, so you can use any SQL statement you like. Of course you must name/alias the columns in a consistent manner so that the number of database items on the block matches those being queried.

Error importing table metadata with quoted column names

Hey folks,
I have a strange problem with the table metadata import wizard. It refuses to import column names that are quoted. I am using OWB 11.1.0.6 on Oracle 11g/Linux
For example, given this table
create table mytest (id integer, "Name" varchar2(50))
OWB imports the ID column just fine but chokes on the "Name" column ("Created with second class object failure").
However if I define the table as
create table mytest (id integer, Name varchar2(50))
everything goes smoothly. Does anyone know if this is a bug or a feature? Can't find any information on this, and it's highly annoying as I'm importing definitions of automatically generated tables that contain tons of these quoted column names :(.

I noticed that myself in our project.
Our varchars2 are defined as VARCHAR2(xxx CHAR) - OWB puts the size*4
In fact if you have special characters like umlauts (ü,ä,ö,...) it will use 4 bytes per character.
You can try it yourself. Define a Varchar2(1 CHAR) and manually change the size of the Column in your mapping inside OWB (in filters, joins or your target table).
Then shoot an umlaut through the mapping and will end up with a "too small" error.
Dont mind the size*4 issue - we totally ignored it and run without error since 4 years now.

Finding tables that contain a column

Hi all,
I am a relatively new SQL user and am trying to figure out how to find all tables that contain a particular column, eg, 'cust_id'. I have tried a bunch of different things and searched on Google but I think I don't quite have/understand the syntax I need.
Also, how would I display a list of all the columns in all the tables?

The main purpose of anlyzing isn't to produce a report for you to read (as helpful as thant might be) but to update the data dictionary, so that Oracle knows how to do queries efficiently. For example, if you have a query like

FROM patients
WHERE birth_date = DATE '1981-07-28'
AND state_abbr = 'NY';How does the system decide whether to look for rows with the right birth_date first, or the right state? The statistics in the data dictionary might tell it that birth_date has many more ditinct values, so looking for a particular birth_date first will narrow down the search much faster than looking for a particular state.
By the way, the ANALYZE command has been deprecated. Unless you're using a very old version of Oracle, you should be calling the dbms_stats package instead:

I am using Sam's teach yourself SQL in 10 minutes which is very good at the very specific commands and functions it describes but doesn't really orient me to the language, doesn't explain how to use the help functions, or any treatment of tasks not contanied in the book. I can understand why the book doesn't say much about analyzing. The book is about SQL (e.g., how to create a table or write a query). Statistics are not in the scope of that book. Actually, they're not really in the scope of this forum, either. If you have questions about statistics, you're better off posting them in the "Database - General" forum:

Based on your issue, to check if the issue is related to the specified unit test or the VS IDE issue. I suggest you can refer the following document to re-create a simple new unit test with windows store app and then add the windows store app as reference
to the Unit test project check this issue.

i need to create a table which contains relational data(i mean coulumns whose data types are type NUMBER,VARCHAR) and documents(like xml file/html file/image)using iFS.
when i store the document data(xml data/html data) in the iFS ,it will be stored as Document Object.so how do i relate this document object belongs to a particular row in a table.

Table T77RCF_SMASK has reference to T77RCF_SMG_ASM.
When compared the two tables we found that following entries are missing in T77RCF_SMASK:

Can you please guide on what should be the entry for these in table T77RCF_SMASK? Would appreciate if full table entries are shown in answer for future users.
Missing entries are causing error "Customizing table T77RCF_SMASK contains no corresponding entry for SMASK_ID = 0071 and so on in SLG1 logs display.
