There is no data in RSDDSTAT_DM at all.
When use &Profiling=X with webtemplate url, it does not deliver OLAP and DM details either. Corresponding columns are empty.
Have anyone experienced the same problem?
We saw Note 1072693 - Statistics data is not written, but we are on the appropriate SP already
Thank you,

Can you please check the setting for BI stat's for the template. You can maintain the setting using TX: RSDDSTAT or TX: RSA1-> Tools-> BI Stat's setting

I am receiveing error while creating Z table: Entry in table TAORA missing
Hi Experts,
I am receiving "Entry in table TAORA missing" while creating Z table.
Please help
Edited by: N_niki on Jun 11, 2011 9:22 AMHi
1) Check for the DB System. The Table name in "Entry in table TAORA missing", meant to save the "DATA CLASS of the ORACLE application"., OR
2) check for the Data Class you Selected, on Creation of the Z Table, for which an Entry exists in the TAORA or the Available DATA CLASS in the TAORA Table to fix it.

Some SAP R/3 Tables are Missing
Hi Friends,
I made a connection between SAP R/3 and Crystal Reports. When I am trying to see the tables of SAP R/3 I am not able to see all the tables only few tables are visible. For example in Standard table I am able to see only LIKP table, but VBAK, VBAP etc ... tables are missing in the list.
Can any one guide me to get the total list of SAP R/3 tables.
Regards
SankarSee this posting for how to: Crystal Reports 10
You'll have to change the registry key to match your version but should work for you.
Thank you

Xref table is missing when a pdf file is created with acrobat distiller 9.0.0
Hi
I created a pdf file with the new acrobat distiller 9.0.0 and i noticed that the xref table is missing in it.
Whereas the pdf files which created in older version (acrobat distiller 7.0.5) had the xref tables.
As i have written a perl script to open the pdf files (used a ready made module downloaded form cpan.org). The script works fine with all old pdf files but fails when it tries to open the pdf files created with distiller 9.0.0.
Could i know is any thing changed on acrobat distiller 9.0.0 ?
Thanks

Import Table Statistics to another table
Hi,
Just like to know if I can use dbms_stats.import_table_stats to import table statistics to another table?
Scenario:
I exported the table statistics of the table (T1) using the command below.
exec dbms_stats.export_table_stats('<user>','T1',NULL,'<stat table>');
PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.
And then, I have another table named T2, T1 and T2 are identical tables. T2 does not have statistics (I intentionally did not run gather statistics). I am wondering
if I can import table statistics from T1 to T2 using dbms_stats package?.
For what I understand, statistics can be imported back at the same table which is T1 but not for another table using dbms_stat package. If I am wrong, anyone can correct me.
Thankshi
just try ;-) you lose nothing probably,
check afterwards last_analyzed value for that table in user_tables
if something is wrong, run regular stats -
Table Statistics Gathering Query
Hey there,
I'm currently getting trained in Oracle and one of the questions posed to me were create a table, insert a million rows into it and try to find the number of rows in it. I've tried the following steps to solve this,
First table creation
SQL> create table t1(id number);
Table created.Data insertion
SQL> insert into t1 select level from dual connect by level < 50000000;
49999999 rows created.Gathering statistics
SQL> exec dbms_stats.gather_table_stats('HR','T1');
PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.Finally counting the number of rows
SQL> select num_rows from user_tables where table_name='T1';
NUM_ROWS
49960410
SQL> select count(*) from t1;
COUNT(*)
49999999My database version is,
SQL> select * from v$version;

Thank You,
VishalBecause you aren't specifying a value for estimate_percent in the procedure call (to gather_table_stats) Oracle will pick an estimate value for you. If you want to sample the entire table you would need to explicitly specify that in your procedure call.

Hi
Is there any command to delete gathered statistics of a table
suppose : I have gather table statistics as under
exec dbms_stats.gather_table_stats('TEST1','EMP');
now I want to delete the statistics from the above table EMP
Regards
JewelThe package dbms_stats is fully documented in the Oracle supplied package and type reference manual for your unknown version of Oracle.
It has a call to delete statistics.
As per forums etiquette, please do the obvious first and consult documentation.

Lexmark all-in-one printer error: Color table is missing
I've got this "Color table is missing." only after I accepted the automatic update 2.2 of 24.2 MB coming from Lexmark.
To solve the problem I had to remove ALL traces of Lexmark drivers and software, then reinstall the correct driver, the one for Mac Os 10.6 (snow leopard).
Now I must remember NOT to accept any automatic update and I can use again my X3550.
So please DO NOT INSTALL that update 2.2 of 24.2 MB!!!

I am trying to import an existing schema in Oracle 10g.

I had then used the parameter EXCLUDE=STATISTICS and then the import was successful.
I would like to the significance of this STATISTICS.
I mean would EXCLUDE=STATISTICS always be ok?
I have exported and imported the scheme as a user and not as sysdba. Does this make any difference?
any suggestion would be highly appreciated.
