Use the FM RRMX_WORKBOOK_QUERIES_GET to get the queries in a workbook by selecting the workbook ID from table RSRWORKBOOK

I am in need of releasing space from the common schema we have. i have been permitted to drop the tables which has not been used for the last three months.
Can anyone please suggest how to find the tables that has not been used for a given amount of time.

It's not unusual for systems to have processes that run quarterly or even annually. You need to be very careful about dropping "unused" tables - you might just kill your organisations end of year reporting system.
Is buying more disk space really not an option?

Substitution not allowing using table PRTE

Dear All,
I want to copy the WBS scheduled dates in two user defined date fields in WBS element. For this purpose, I created a substitution where I added the table fields of PRTE table( the scheduled dates for WBS are stored here) using SE16N in table GB01. I completed the substitution now with user fiedls will get updated from scheduled dates.
The problem is that when I am trying to run this substitution, it is giving error that table PRTE can not be used for substitution.
So, in short substitution is not allowing me to use a table which I added manually. Are there any more steps I need to perfom after addition of the table in GB01, or simply SAP do not allow this ?

Substituting PRTE fields should be possible without modification using a substitution exit. But date data (PRTE) is updated by PS scheduling functionality AFTER the substitution was called. That means, if you update PRTE in your substitution and the system decides that a date relevant change was done, it will overwrite your changes, as date relevant coding is processed afterwards.

Table or View Not Found Problem

Hi all,
I am facing a strange problem where-in I am calling a query from a normal SQl window which works but the same in Procedure gives me an error.
User A...This runs this statement
Select * from B.emp which gives results. The same statement when I compile in a procedure it gives an error saying Table or View not Found.
User A has a select on B.Emp where B is the owner of table Emp.
I am not able to get to the solution of the same. Is it apossibility of a synonym conflict? Can someone help in what ways this error can come?

First off, it is a "Bad" idea to enable 'root', as that is the one known account that exists on every Unix system. If 'root' is enabled, it makes it much easier to break into a Mac via the one account that has absolute control over everything.
Having said that...
i too do not observe in editor section enable root user when I perform what Kappy offered in link.
Did you click on "Login Options" to get the "Join..." button?
Did you click on "Open Directory Utility" ?
Did you go to the Menu Bar and click "Edit"? It should be right there 2/3's of the way down the "Edit" menu -> "Enable Root User"
If you want another way.
Start an Applications -> Utilities -> Terminal session
sudo su -
password: <enter your admin password here>
passwd
Changing password for root.
New password:
Retype new password:
You have now enabled 'root'. I hope you gave 'root' a very VERY STRONG password, as you have just opened yourself up for script kiddies to go after your root account.

How to find out what computers user logged on? (not at the moment but history)

Domain Controller: Windows 2012 R2 - Unfortunately, I don't manage DC but my own OU (computers and users)
I have a user working mid-night shift reporting that he received error message "The group policy client service fail the logon, access denied". He is using multiple PC and he did not remember which PC gave him the error message. How do I find out
which computers he logged on? I have access to my domain OU. I can manage my own Computers and Users objects in my domain (no domain controller in my department)
I searched internet but most of them are finding out which computer user is currently logging on - not the history, thanks.

To fix this error, please follow the steps given below and check if it helps you to resolve the issue :
1. Logon to the machine with a machine administrator account (assuming this issue is with a domain account, if not logon to the machine using another account with administrative privilege).
2. Move the machine to a work-group from domain. (If it was part of one work-group then change it to another one or join a domain.) You could do this through Control Panel\System and Security\System and then Change Settings.
3. Restart the machine and logon with a machine administrator account.
4. Delete your user profile data (or move it a different location) completely from c:\users. "C" in my case is system directory but if you have a different one then use that one.
5. Join the machine back to domain account (or to work-group that the machine was originally joined to), and restart the machine.
6. Logon with your domain account that you were having trouble with. Keep fingers crossed.
If all goes well, you should be logged on.
Coming to the second query, if the user are in DC, you can try our free tool
Lepide last logon reporter that will help you to get the logon details by specifying Domain Name/IP of the Domain Controller, User Name, Common Name and Last Logon Time.

V-41 tcode error :Table 304 is not defined for use with condition type PR00

Hi All,
I am trying to create a BDC using the transaction V-41.
The first screen has fields:
ConditionType and Table, where I have to fill values ZPM1 and 800 respectively.
But as soon as I enter the tcode v-41 and say enter, the above mentioned fields are already having the values 'PR00' and ' 304'. Normally if you take an example fo t-code VA02, all fields are blank.
Then an error message is displayed:
Table 304 is not defined for use with condition type PR00
This behaviour is not allowing me to use the BDC feature.
Please advise me on why this is happening. What are the possible solutions I can use to clear these values programmatically?
Can anything be done via customizing?

Well the problem you are facing is having the following solution:
Table 304 is not defined for use with condition type PR00
Message no. VK024
Diagnosis
The selected condition type does not fit in the condition table, that is the basis for the condition record. Alternatively the selected condition type is not included in the condition types that were selected on the selection screen or that are defined in the variant of the standard selection report.
Procedure
Úse F4 help to choose a valid condition type.
If this does not give you the required condition type, check in Customizing for condition types and the related access sequences.
In the condition maintenance also check Customizing for the selection report (pricing report), that you have selected in the navigation tree, using the standard condition table as a reference.
I hope this helps.

How to find out locations whether it is in use or not in use

I want to delete all unused locations from my FDM application. Can you please help me, how to find the locations that are not in use?

You can view the tdataseg(x) table that the location is associated with and sort by period key as needed.
Select PartitionKey,Part Name,Partsegmentkey
from tpovpartiton
This will return the location, location id and segment key. The segment key is the data segment that the location is associated with.
You can then query this table and sorty by period key to see what periods the location has data imported for.
This should give you an idea and you can then delete your locations from within the Metadata > Locations Menu in FDM.
Keep in mind that once the location is deleted, and data associated with the location will also be deleted (Historical Data)

Sol'n : You have so many Class Methods for finding your requirement else FM aslo.
Go to SE84 there u will find search ClassMethods. There u type getuserRole or userRole* and press F8. Pick the one which you feel it may give you the result
ie you have to execute the class...if it showing instance on the tool bar click on that then press execute the method which you feel relevant to you, and give input parameters.

if you don't want to use SE11 and see it on one glance, you could use the following coding:

      it_missing TYPE TABLE OF t682i,
      wa_count TYPE kotabnr VALUE 499.
SELECT * FROM t682i INTO TABLE it_t682i
              WHERE kvewe = 'A'
              AND kotabnr BETWEEN 500 AND 999.
DO.
ADD 1 TO wa_count.
READ TABLE it_t682i INTO wa_t682i
             WITH KEY kotabnr = wa_count.
IF sy-subrc <> 0.
    CLEAR wa_t682i.
    MOVE wa_count TO wa_t682i-kotabnr.
    APPEND wa_t682i TO it_missing.
ENDIF.
IF wa_count = 999.
    EXIT.
ENDIF.

The table it_missing is just a quicky solution, you could use a table with just one field or use write to print the result.
