Tables are missing in universe

I am using MS Sql Server-2005 . I have restored a database from .bak file. I am creating Business objects Universe for that database. I am to create a connection for that database in universe. But when i am trying to import/insert tables ,tables are not visible (tables are missing.) can anyone help me to resolve the issue ?

I meant the Client. Are you using the SQL Native Client for 2005 or the build- in from Windows?

I made a connection between SAP R/3 and Crystal Reports. When I am trying to see the tables of SAP R/3 I am not able to see all the tables only few tables are visible. For example in Standard table I am able to see only LIKP table, but VBAK, VBAP etc ... tables are missing in the list.
Can any one guide me to get the total list of SAP R/3 tables.

I'm also not able to see any tables in the "Query Builder". I have tried to explore to see if the fix is similar with no luck. Does the Query Builder have a simlar fix?

I branched this query to start a new thread. While the thread: Some Tables are missing did help you see your tables, much of the discussion happened last year and was not about the query builder.
In the query builder for the current 1.1.2 build, you can only see tables you own. In the next update, you'll also be able to see tables you have select access to.

E-Recruitment and EHS - tables are missing ECC 6.0

We have recently noticed that we have tables missing in our SAP HCM and our EHS(Employe Health and Safety) Development Box. I am attaching the list of tables for review by all. Can someone tell me, please, if they know what these tables are for and if they are part of a note or submodule running off main modules for E-Recruitment and EHS. I checked notes in OSS but cannot find the tables for the EHS or E-RC modules.
We cannot find these tables listed anywhere. We are using ECC 6.0 and the BB installlment was for N. America.

I cannot speak for the EHS stuff but the tables you mentioned for E-Recruiting are part of the functional enhancements for e-recruiting 600 delivered with e-recruiting servie pack 7.
E-recruiting delivered 2 service packs which implmented new functioons. These were the e-recruiting packs 5 and 7. Futere enhancements will be delivered with the standard EhP (enhancement package) szenario - first of them is EhP3 for e-recruiting awaylable today if i remémber the schedules correctly..
You are probably missing these tables as you do not have installed the packages yet - so check your sp level. I strongly recommend you to upgrade to the newest service pack 11 for e-recruiting especially if you use / plan to use the webdynpro candidate frontend. But also for other implementation szenarios the sps are very urgent.
For the table in detail:
T77RCF_INCL2FORM - is a tablke for the new letter / correspondence change functionality using a dedicated changable text area in the smartform whixh has the advantage towards the old solution that changed correspondence can be printed propperly.
All other tables are part of the so called dashboard functionality.
You can find additional information on these functional enhancements in the software download centered of the sapnet under "Installations and Upgrades" -> "SAP Application Components" -> "SAP ERP" -> "SAP ERP 2005" -> "Documentation".

Entries in Database Tables are missing

Hi Experts,
In ERP2004,
I have 2 tables in different clients. The 2 tables have some entries in Client 000. But same entries are not there in the 2 table in the copied client 020. IS there any way that these table entries can be brought into client 020?
I am familiar with SCC1 but i donot have a transport request in Client 000. How to get these entries into target client.

Basically depending on the type of table involved , the recommendation varies.
Just copying table entries may lead to inconsistencies etc .
so need to find out what made the table entries disapper.
If after analysis if its decided that the table entries are really required , then one way is to use R3trans to copy data across clients.
SAP note 1942 provide the details about it

Some Tables are missing in DBA_CAPTURE_PREPARED_TABLES

Using Oracle 10.2.0.3.0 on linux 64 bit
I have setup one way Stream replication(SCHEMA REPLICATION) from production to destination server, when i am executing the query DBA_CAPTURE_PREPARED_TABLES view, it is not showing two or three tables, one of the table have same number of records as production have. Do i need to do any thing, because replication is running fine.
Do i need not to worry because i am doing schema level replication and following view is showing the name of schema

1. I have created target tables based on source tables with one to one mapping and then join all target tables in universe.
Ex: Source tables: Infocube text tables, fact tables and 3rd party data base table
Target tables:Target tables are same as source tables
--- Yes this is the way to create target Tables and join them in the universe.These target Tables gives you the flexibility like in future your requirement is to add one more object based on some calculation which is not possible in the universe so that time you can create one more column in the target table and do the calculation. at the same time if you are using source table you can not do anything.
2. Created single target table with all objects of source tables and merged all sources tables data.
Ex: Source tables: Infocube text tables, fact tables and 3rd party data base table
Target table: Single table.
--- This is bit complex structure to merge all tables data in the one target table.in this situation you have to put more efforts and it is more complex.basically this type of target table is useful when you are merging data by multiple source into single or creating one target table based on the union of tables by adding two mapping rules or more and you can not join tables in universe.
Better approach is first 1. create target tables based on the source tables and join them in the universe.

QM notification attachment links are missing from table SRGBTBREL

Dear All,
We have problem in our system and the documents(specially QM notifications-QM02 03) are not accessible from the content server only for a specific period (Nov to Dec 2009) due to a missing link in SRGBTBREL (No idea how the entries are deleted).
Now we want to know, how we can establish a new link or restore the missing link in table SRGBTBREL ?
Also if someone can tell how to find the relation between the PHIO_ID and notification number ?
or the relation between Archive object id and notification..if we have this information then we can some standard function module provided by SAP.
or anyone else have any better idea , please share

Thanks for your reply , the given links were quite useful and we got some ideas that what should be the approach.
Approach to resolve the issue -
At this moment we are trying to get the relation between the SOOD , SRGBTBREL, SOFFPHIO tables.
SOFFCONT1 is no more useful for us as the documents are old and have been archived to Content Server.
We have all entries in the SOOD table and also in SOFFPHIO table, but in the SRGBTBREL the links are missing and hence the documents are not visible in SAP.
If somehow we can get the missing link is this table I am quite sure that documents wil be visible and accessible from SAP.
Our main target is to relate SOOD SRGBTBREL and SOFFPHIO and get the PHIO_ID for the mising documents and then we have a functional module which will help to get the data from content server.
As per my current unerstanding this is the relation between the tables
SRGBTBREL-INSTID_B is related to: SOOD-OBJTP,SOOD-OBJYR,SOOD-OBJNO,
Like FOL30000000000003EXT31000000002416
Here
SOOD-OBJTP = EXT
SOOD-OBJYR = 31
SOOD-OBJNO = 000000002416
And This elelement is than linked to table SOFFPHIIO as follows:
SOOD-IF_DOC_BCS = SOFFPHIO-LOIO_ID
In the table SOFFPHIO you can find the PHIO_ID what is linked to
SOFFCONT1 or the Archive Server
I am trying to solve the problem by using the approach mentioned above , still somehow I have some difficulties to get the links between the tables.
Can some one tell if my approach is correct or not ? or suggest with any other simple solution ?

Records are missing in KONV tables.

I have created an invoice and saved it.
In displaying mode, all the condition types are present but in print preview the condition types are missing.
Checked in the KONV table, the records for the condition types are missing.
I dont know why they are missing in the KONV table. And if missing how they are present in the invoce but absent in the print preview.

It cannot happen and is not possible.
You are doing some mistake while looking at KONV and if the values are not printing in the form, then there is some problem in the coding.
You have to use VBRK-KNUMV as KONV-KNUMV and then see the details.
If you want to see values at item level pricing, then apart from the above logic, use KONV-KPOSN as VBRK-POSNR.
Even after this if you are not finding values in KONV, please let me know.

Italic fonts are missing in Table in PDF files when we print it out

We use Adobe reader10 to open one PDF files, fonts in Table are display correctly on screen, but italic fonts are missing in Table in PDF files when we print it out. Any ideas?

I have very strange problem in case of Capital purchase.
My excise posting for capital goods is BED       100 Rs.
                                                              Ecess       2 Rs.
                                                          H.Ecess        1 Rs.
But at the time of excise posting in J1iex Accounting simulation is            BED   101.5   Cr
                                                                                On Hold BED     50.0   Db
                                                                                BED     51.5   Db
System is not considering 103 Rs amt for BED.
After clicking on post system gives above error Debit entries are missing in table J_1ITRNACC.
Please suggest for this problem.

Check for GRPO & CAPE, whether Dr & Cr accounts are maintained properly or not.

Line items are missing during transferring ITS to EBP--tricky problem

Hi,
We are using EBP 2.0 version.
Some shopping carts line items are missing while transferring shopping cart data from ITS to EBP.
This is happening randomly.we had checked all the shoppping cart related tables in EBP.
For example in my shooping cart 4 items are there,during transferring shopping cart data from ITS to EBP all 4 items are updating for all the shopping cart related tables except account assignment table.
In account assignment table for this particular shopping cart only 3 items are updated except first one.
This is happening randomly for few of the shopping carts that too most of the cases first item of the shopping cart was not updating reqacct table(this is account assignment table for shooping cart items).
I have debugged entire scenario,but i couldn't find the problem.
any one could you please advise me....why this is happening?whether it is a version problem?

I guess you already checked OSS notes for this.
Have you checked in the area of ITS ?
When ITS sends data to EBP, only the actual screen data is sent:
- item procurement data from basic data
- item accounting data from accountig tab
then this data is used to update the SC.
If you have debugged those 2 screens, you should see what is happening.
You say that only 3 reqacct lines are updated: does it means that you have the 4 lines previously created, or only 3 ?
If you change one line item quantity, you should see this updating the reqacct. Same if you go directly in accounting tab.
Finally, there are two options:
- this is an ABAP error, so you should catch it in debug
- this is an infrastrucute error (ITS is not sending the data), so you should get the data sent by ITS in debug mode
Sometimes in productive environment with an heavy loaded ITS, you can loose some data. Available memory is not enough to fill in correctly ITS session containers.

The heading are in the table pt_fcat - you don't seem to be passing that in form....

SAP BPC 7.5 NW SP15 - Dimension member descriptions are missing

Hi Expert,
We are using SAP BPC 7.5 NW SP 15, we use admin and client in spanish language see image attached
All users see through BPC CLIENT for Excel in spanish mode both ID and descriptions but when we added new user it can´t, just it can see ID member. We refresh Dim Cache member from client side but nothing happens.
We reprocess All dimensions through BPC Admin Client in spanish mode and doesn´t have any efect in dimension description?
is there any issue with this?

thanks for your anwser
We checked though BW and saw it that long descriptions were set in Spanish language key which is the same language as BPC for Excel was openend.
As solution we checked at UJA3_USER_LANGU table, we notice that users in which descriptions are missing were registered in English language, therefore we deleted this user and its language and then was recreated those users through BPC ADMIN client.
