Tables behind FF7B

Can someone confirm that behind transaction FF7B when used for liquidity forecast that all of the "drilled down" (most granular) data is contained in tables beginning with FDxxx?
I specifically want to know if there are any data contained in structures or other sources that are populated "on the fly"?
I am attempting to extract the "drilled down" granular data into BW for the purpose of reporting directly from BW.  I want to populate my cube with the granular data.
Thank you,
Andy

In order to clarify what I am asking:
Are all of the data that appears after drilling down to the level of:
Company, Planning Datae, Document number, Line/Item number, Currency, Amount
contained in the FDxxxx tables, or are some of the data gathered during the drill into FF7B?
Thank you all for your answers.
Andy

    Hi
Check the name of the programm assigned to transaction, it should be like this:
    AQZZ<user group>=======<query name>======
    or
    AQIC<user group>=======<query name>======
It depends of the query area is global or cross-client
So run SQ01, select the quey area, select the quey group and so your query: now you can see the infoset and then you see it by SQ02 transaction

    Hi,
Thanks for your response. It is PM related.  When I run a T Code - IK18,  the field Total Counter Reading field appears. I am looking for that particular fields actual table name and field name.  I think I have found it in IMGR table. Now I want to get IMRG-READG in my report, but there is no common fields in neither MKPF or MSEG table. So what can I do to connect IMRG table with either of them ?

  • Possible to find the Table behind the form

My question is Is it possible for the DBA to find the table behind the form.
actually when i input the data from front end i want to know how can i found which table as updated.

behind the form.Form as in front-end GUI sort of thing? Most DBAs of my acquaintance wouldn't know whether to laugh or cry at such a request. Seeing as how it confirms all the prejudices at the cluelessness of developers.
The short answer is No. That's why we are supposed to document our applications. However, if you get a sympathetic DBA they might be prepared to track your session and find out what SQL you're issuing. It's then a question of co-ordinating your Form usage with what they see in the database.

    Dear SAP13072009,
Example:Say Change number field is present in CS01,CS02 T Code, click on change number field and press F1--->Technical
Information and the table name may be shown as RC29N,if you check in SE16,it will be showing as it's a structure and not a
    table.
In such cases, after pressing F1->technical Information->double click on Data Element >AENNR->Click on Where Used List
(ControlShiftF3)-->select the check box for table fields-->enter and now you will be able to see the list of tables related to
change number.Check these tables in SE16.
    FYI:
You will not be able to get the table related to assembly indicator in any of the table.
    Check and revert back.

  • ABAP coding / tables behind IDOC

    Hello *,
First some words about the scenario:
I want to design a composite application prototype which aims to replace an existing system.
In the existing application (non-SAP) material master data is periodically (1 x per night) transferred via (customer) IDOC from SAP PLM to the application own database. Real-time read and search functionality is implemented for this database.
Now, with composite application framework, I have the posibility connecting directly (real-time) to the PLM data via entity services. So no redundant keeping of data is necessary.
So now the problem is, that I need the data of the given IDOC but in request/response scenario implemented as an RFC. Am I right?
How can I realize this? Where can I find the ABAP coding behind the IDOC? And the tables and data fields which fill the IDOC?
Can anyone help me? Or are there any good papers/information about IDOCs?
    Thanks in advance.

  • Question about database tables behind charicteristic

    Hi everyone,
<b>(1) what does the M table(view) of a charicteristic use for?</b> I find that the M view's structure is same as p table, so why the system create it?
<b>(2) what is the difference between NAV attribute and DIS attribute from database point of view?</b> I see that, if use NAV attribute in a characteristic's attribute, a X table will be generated, what does this x table use for?

    Hi,
    The M view.
Attributes from a IObj are stored in two tables: the P table for time independent attributes and the Q table for time dependent attr; the M view bring all attributes to be seen together (just press F1 positioning your cursor in the RSD1 screen on "view of MstrDta.." to get SAP explanation....) If your char doesn't have time indep attr, then the M view = the P table; otherwise it would be a mixture (e.g. 0COSTCENTER)
The X (/resp Y) table stores the relation between your master data SID and its time independent attributes (not only NAV) SIDs (resp time dependent). This table is used when preparing SELECT statements during reporting, F4 help and selection of data. Roughly it spares a join operation.
    hope this helps...
    Olivier.

  • Table behind Netweaver Java screen

Normally in ABAP system, we use Technical settings in system -> Status window to determine table/field associated with an objction in cursor.  Is there any such way to find field the cursor is in Java Screen.  for eg., in GRC RAR, I goto tab
"Rule Architect": Business Processes -> Search
Now we see two fields, Business Id and Description...
I would like to know the underlying fields associated with that.
I am sure there could some that BAPI Associated with this.

    Hello Giridhara,
For RAR front-end which is on Java side, all the tables are there in database linked with J2EE.
For all the rule architect nodes, there are tables in J2EE database and not in BAPI.All the data in RAR is stored in the front-end database only and BAPI is used only when we fetch some data from backend.
Apart from that BAPI is not used to store the data and in JAVA there is no way by which you can find out tables direclty where the data gets stored.
One work-around is if you execute the SQL trace while executing any activity it will capture the tables
where the data gets stored in J2EE database. However with a single activity there are lot of tables associated so you need to locate for right table.

  • Table used in report painter

    Hi,
How to check what table is really used in a certain report painter.
For my case, I want to a report 1KSL-001 under 1VK library, and I can see this 1VK library is using table "CCSS", but CCSS acctually is not a table, its just a structure.
So, how to use what tables are used while running report 1KSL-001?
    Thanks.

  • Can I replace my table with divs, in this context?

    Hi,
I'm trying to accomplish something without the use of tables. Maybe someone can tell me how.
    - The skeleton is basically made up of 3 newspaper-style columns.
    - Their widths aren't very likely to change -- their widths will be fixed -- so this eliminates one problem right off the bat, right?
    - The first column (left) is a sidebar menu, and it has its own distinct background image pattern.
    - The other two columns (mid and right) share a flat background. Right now, I'm just calling the same 1k JPG twice (once in each of those two columns/cells). I find this simpler than creating an unnecessary container just for the common background.
    - All 3 columns begin at the same line (0).
So far so good, the fixed widths and the fact that they all begin at y=0 makes this easier than it otherwise could have been.
Now here's the tricky part :
    - The amount of content is different from page to page (some pages are longer than others), and the amount of content per column will also vary individually (so the sidebar might be the longest column in one file, the mid column could be the longest element in the next, and so on...)
    - The layout is horizontally centered.
    - All 3 columns need to end at the same spot, which will be dynamic from page to page (in other words, the backgrounds of these columns need to stretch/repeat until the end of the column with the most content, whichever of the 3 columns that may be on any given page).
    - There is a page-end image to display that is as wide as the combined 3 column widths.
As you can imagine, using a table with 3 columns makes this easy as pie. But I was told to avoid tables whenever possible, so if there's an easy way to justapose 3 divs and have them behave like 3 cells of the same table -- without too much markup -- I'd give it a try, and potentially leave tables behind for good.
It would be easy enough to create a large container div, horizontally center it, and left-float 3 divs inside it... but this doesn't address the problem of having to have those backgrounds repeat all the way to the end of the site. The way I just described, the backgrounds would vertically end wherever the content of that individual column ends.
And since we know divs don't like height=100%, well...
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks!

  • Can you give some real-life use of tables in BW?

    Hi,
In reading links and notes from here, I took a leap to try and understand how tables are used in the BW environment, by following:
    se16
    RSZ* then  F4
    then I Double click on:
    i.
RSZRANGE        Selection specification for an element
If execute, I get a table with a several fields with values.
What is this table suppose to tell me and can you give me a real-life scenario where you made use of such a research to solve a problem?
    ii.
    RSZOPRATOR       Formula Operators
similarly, here I found fields with operators and mostly numbers.
What is this table suppose to tell me and can you give me a real-life scenario where you made use of such a research to solve a problem?
iii. Later I tried RSU* then
    RSUPDDAT        Update rules key figures
Nothing recognizable here about the update rules.
What is this table suppose to tell me and can you give me a real-life scenario where you made use of such a research to solve a problem?
    iv.
Also, sometimes here conversations like, research on which tables have the fields you need and let’s generate reports against them. I though tin BW, reports are always generated against data targets (ODS, Cubes, etc). I didn’t know of tables.
Can you give a real-life scenario where you had to combine fields in 2 or 3 tables and use them in project?
    Thanks

    Amanda,
There are many scenarios where you can use the tables behind the screen. But most of the times the scenarios are sophisticated requirement. Suppose your installation has many data targets and all are getting loaded nightly, weekly or even monthly intervals. Usually in most places the person on call will go and look at all the targets in the morning whether all the loads are successful (they would have beeped if something faild during loading at nights). Instead of going thru this manual process you can write an ABAP program which will look at the infocubes and ODS and see how many records were added, transferred, updated success or failure all kinds of information.
RSA1 is just a front end and all the information you see are all coming from tables which are stored here. go to SE80 or SE11 and search for the tables behind the screens. Every bit of detail that you see is coming from tables or available in tables. There are many tables and they are all relational. So you can pretty much do anything you like in accessing them. Please just read (SELECT) from them. Don't try to delete, insert anything unless you know what you are doing absolutely.
    Hope this helps.
    Good luck with your learning.
    Alex.
