i have material number and i want to find class of this material number. which table(s) can i use?

You can find out in an indirect way...
Go MM03 for your material...
IN Classification tab...the system will ask you to choose the material class..go on for each class..which ever is the class defined that matrial is the real one..

Hi,
For batch class the class type value is '023' . This you can find from KLAH table and the fileld for class type is KLART..
And also all the data related to batch class are found in tables INOB, KLAH,KKSK and for the characeteristics of batch materials you can refer AUSP table.
In INOB table, for batch class, you need to give 023 in KLART field and value MCH1 in OBTAB filed.
Please check this and let me know if this you need any more details?

Hyperlink table for IO class Issue - DMWB transaction

Hi,
We have problems when we want to activate some objects, specifically "ZRM_DOCXX". When we try to activate this object, an popup appears with the next error:
"There is no active "hyperlink" table for IO class 'ZRM_DOCP05' in 'ZRM_DOC05'
Message no. MODEL058
Procedure
Check the tabulation for the IO class &V2& and correct it if necessary."
Anyone knows where can we can customize this "hyperlink" table?

Pricing table for Material pricing Group

Hi everyone
I have a problem related to pricing. In ECC, if we create a condition table for material pricing group, assign it to the Access sequence PR00 and then download the customizing data to CRM, the access sequence appears in CRM but without this table.
Could you please provide any clue to this??
Also, I had created another table with the Material/Material Prc Grp, assigned it to another Z-Access sequence and assigned the access seq to a Condition type. Again I had downloaded the customizing and in this case, only the Condition type has arrived. Neither the access sequence nor the table has come.
Could you please guide me as to what needs to be done??

Hello,
Please check your replication object e.g. DNL_CUST_CNDALL and see if you have filters defined there.
You might have put filters which are preventing the download.
Also, you have to define the new field mappings in CRM before you download the tables.
V_CND_MAP_CNVFLD (transaction SM30).: This view contains the mapping between R/3 data structure (maintained in CND_MAPT_ACS_REM_CUST) to CRM data structure (Field Catalog).
The relationship between R/3 field names and CRM field names must be defined in either CND_MAPC_CNV_FLM or CND_MAPM_CNV_FLM
Let me know if still issues.

Hi Kaushal,
- Run trx QA08.
- Select the option Activate inspection type. (This tab should be green)
- Enter material type at least to not have a junk of data at a single execution. You can set other fields as per your requirement.
- Check the Box "Assign Inspection type", Don't check/activate any of the rest three
- Enter the inspection type, here is an limitation you can know the status inspection type by type.
- Execute.
- The system will give you the list of the materials that are note activated for the inspection type you feed in the selection screen.
Hope it satisfy you. at the other way me and you both will search for the better option.

Change Documents for Material Class

Hi,
I activated the change logging for a specific Material Class. However, when I check the change log, there is a material class which will show the characteristic change in the following format. For example I modified characteristic ABCDEF from 1 to 2. The log will show the following:
Document Number 099999
ABCDEF - 1       Deleted
ABCDEF - 2       Created
There are other class types/characterisitcs whose change logging is also activated but the change log will only show the "Created" part. The old value (before change) is not shown.
Document Number 088888
ABCDEF - 2       Created
How do I turn on the logging in such a way that the deleted value (old value) will always be shown in the log ?

We have the same issue just come up last night.   A test on one class last week yielded the 2 record change history model (old value deleted, new value created). Applying the same change to a different material class, we get only the single record model - no help or oss notes seem to mention that there are two different change history models in SAP.
CHECK THIS -- check your single record change log in table CDPOS ... you may have values in both value_old and value_new fields there. The 2 record model stores value_old on the "deleted" record and value_new field value on the "created" record.
That still does not answer why there are two models and how one controls which model is implemented for change history on a class/characteristic ... but it sheds just a little more light on it.

Problems using different tables for base class and derived class

I have a class named SuperProject and another class Project derived from
it. If I let SchemaTool generate the tables without specifying a "table"
extension, I get a single TABLE with all the columns from both classes and
everything works fine. But if I specify a "table" for the derived class,
SchemaTool generates the derived class with just one column (corresponds
to the attribute in derived class). Also it causes problems in using the
Project class in collection attributes.

Table for Material-Cost center-Settlement Rule_REM product cost collecter

I want to generate a report to see for particular material which cost center and which settlement rule is available.
If we go in Product cost collecter (PCC) there we have an option to see settlement rule under header tab, I want to fetch that data for material as selection parameter, can anyone suggest how to get the data as,

Table for Material Classification data

Hi gurus,
Can anyone please tell me which table we can see data for Material Classification.
If we goto MM03 and select the classification view we see two fields in the screen Package Type and Package Size. I want to know which tables keeps that data in.

Each of the characteristics shown in the Classification view of MM03 is an entry in table CABN. Each of the CABN records has a characteristic number (field ATINN). Look up the data in AUSP using your material number in the OBJEK field and the ATINN value from CABN and you'll find the characteristic value in the ATWRT field.
