Tables for two users.

Hi, i have a question. I have installed two users in the same Tablet Pc.
In the data folder i have two tables for the same SyncBo (one for each user).
I need a sql sentence or standard java function to identify the table
that correspond to a user. Thanks.

Hi Julian,
I assume you are using DB2e persistence since you say that there are two "tables" for the same SyncBo. In order to find out which table corresponds to which user, you will have to identify the "Conversation ID" corresponding to each user first.
   Conversation ID is the combination ID for {Device ID + user ID + Application ID}
You can find this out from the trace file and then you have to query on MI_TABMAP table to find out the corresponding table for each conversation ID.
The DB2eCLP.exe tool required to query on tables can be found in SDN:

Thanks and Best Regards,

  • How Do I Use One PC (Windows) To Run iCloud Photo Stream for Two Users?

How Do I Use One PC (Windows) To Run iCloud Photo Stream for Two Users? I and my wife have two Iphones (iOS 6.1.4) and we want to have use 2 iCloud accounts for one PC.

Disregard the question. The solution has nothing to do with any "Firefox bug". Turns out that my session wasn't being managed properly. Or rather, I was accidentally deleting other users' information when new users logged in. So if I had user 1 and user 2, and user 2 logged in after user 1, some of user 1's information would be deleted, resulting in the errors.
Oops; sorry about the false alarm. :)
(Was hoping to retract the question, but it looks like others have a similar problem.)

  • How can I set up my Mac for two users to share photos, music etc

How can I set up my Mac for two users to share photos, music etc?

On the Mac with the libraries you want to share:
iTunes Preferences click on the Sharing tab and put a tick in 'Share by library on local network'.
iPhoto Preferences click on Sharing and put a tick against 'Share my photos'.
When launching the same apps on other Macs on the network the libraries should be available, listed on the left.

  • One iTunes Library for two users

You guessed it. I'm wondering if it's possible for two users to share a single iTunes Library. I tried moving one user's existing Library to HD/Users/Shared which allowed the other user to select the files as a Library, but now I may only add files to the Library by individually Authenticating each one, while the other User can't change the Library at all.
I have Administrative authority on the computer and the other user has none. Is there a better way to share one music library and save space?
    Thanks.

Aaron, my roommate and I have shared a Mac for close to 3 years now. We each have our own account names and each have our own iPods. While it is possible to share the same library, we have never found a way to mirror the two iTunes libraries EXACTLY.
To start, you need to create your default music folder location on a shared drive. Make sure that in both user's iTunes Preferences, you identify the same shared music folder!
Once that is done you can then import all of your music into that directory location, but after User#1 is finished importing music, User#2 needs to File/Add to Library and select the iTunes music folder location (once you do this it should not need to be changed again).
Keep in mind one important thing: If either user deletes a song or makes edits, you will need to immediately switch to the other account and remove the song title (if the first user deleted it) or click on the edited song's name to refelect the edit.
Does this sound cumbersome? It sure does, but it's the only way we have been able to "live in harmony."
Email me anymore of your questions.

  • I bought a photoshop CS5(for two users). If I add one more user, what can I do?

I bought a photoshop CS5, and it indicated for two users only. If I want to add one more user, then what can I do?

    Buy another license.
You can only activate two copies of the software and they're supposed to be for the same person and not used simultaneously.

  • How can i build table with two user name columne  ?

How can I build view with two columns for user name ( one create and the other
    Can change also )
And to display full name ( the user name is the key but not display  ) ?

    Hi,
    Creating View
    •     From initial screen of data dictionary(T.Code: SE11), enter the name of object i.e. view.
    •     Select view radio button and click on the push button.
    •     Dialog box is displayed for types of views.
    •     Select the view type.
    •     On the next screen, you have to pass following parameters.
    •     Short text
    •     In the table box you need to enter the table names, which are to be related.
    •     In join table box you need to join the two tables.
    •     Click on the TABFIELD. System displays the dialog box for all the table fields and user can select the fields from this screen. These fields are displayed in the view fields box.
    •     Save and Activate: When the view is activated, view is automatically created in the underlying database system. As long as the table exists in the database, the view also exists (Unless you delete it).

  • How do you sync iTunes library for two user accounts?

    Hello
I have a MacBook with two user accounts - myself and my wife.
I have to do this because we both have iPhones and we need to keep our sync-ing separate or we would just keep overwriting each others preferences.
I have an iTunes library and so does my wife.
    Problem...
I recently imported some songs using my account that my wife wants on her iTunes. When I logged out of my account and went into hers the songs I imported were not there!!
    Question...
How do you marry and update the libraries of both accounts so no matter which iTunes library you access (my account or hers) you have all the available songs in both?
I have tried trawling through some of the zillion posts here, but the prospect of spending hours and hours was just too much to contemplate!!!!
So if i've asked a question that has already been asked and dealt with please forgive me - or better still if you know where the needle would be in this haystack a link would be very much appreciated!
    Many Thanks in Anticipation.
    Mr Totsy

    Hi ffiti
I have done a bit of cleaning up on my Mac (OCD!) and made a bit of an ar*e of things - can you help?
I went into my wife's account and wiped all iTunes files and stored songs.
This was done because some songs were on my iTunes library and some were not on hers - so I just wiped the lot off and started again...I know it gets even better...
I then went into my user account and wiped off everything there too...
I went on the Apple website and downloaded the latest iTunes 11.0.4 I think and reinstalled an empty library from scratch - that way I will be only filling one library full of songs - I also took the media file out of the shared folder and reset it back to its default position
I went to sync my iPhone and now it tells me I can only sync one device with one library - so how do I sync my phone without it deleting everything and replacing it with nothing?!!!!
I doesn't matter how great Apple products are they just can't account for human idiocy !!!
    Regards,
    Mr Totsy

  • ESS Team Calendar comming as Table for some users

    Hi,
When the users navigate to ESS -> working Time -> Leave request -> Team calendar
Then for some users it coming as Table, while for other it is coming as proper chart(graphics).
We want the it as chart(graph) for all users.
    Any suggestions?
    _vishal

It seems that accessibility switch is on for the users for which the chart is not coming properly. In the UserAdministration Search for the user for which the chart is not coming properly and uncheck the accessibility flag.
    Thanks

  • Dual "desktop" for two users

    Hello!
Here's my need: a Mac Pro with OS X Tiger 10.4.11, used by its usual user.
A second user needs another computer for light works only (web browsing and pictures viewing).
I'd like to connect a second keyboard, a second mouse and a second display to the Mac Pro. Then create a second "desktop" or work area, or something similar. In this way the two users could work independently using the same Mac.
    Is this possible?
Is there any desktop utility that could allow us to work in this way?
    Or is there something similar?
    Thank you.

    Hi,
    Is this possible?
Not that I'm aware of, at a at the same time.
Any KB, Mouse, or Monitor you connect, will only be availble to the front User, though there is Fast User Switching.

  • Anyconnect client and clientless connections hang for two users

    ASA 5525, v. 9.1(5)19
    Anyconnect client 3.1.02026
I have two users who are unable to connect via the AC client or clientless through the web portal. Using the client, it will get stuck in a loop of "checking for updates". On the portal, the connection will proceed to the point of "Cisco Secure Desktop successfully validated... Success.. Reloading..please wait." Then it hangs there.
The issue occurs for the user regardless of which company laptop she logs onto. A help desk tech can use her laptop and successfully connect, but she cannot connect on her own laptop or on another laptop. (Same for the other user.) So the issue doesn't seem to be related to her laptop or the AC installation. (Help desk did reimage her machine early in the troubleshooting process before they realized that the issue seemed to follow the user.)
I've updated the hostscan file - no change in results.  Client and clientless connections seem to be working fine for all other users. We're stumped.  Suggestions, anyone?  thanks!

The LDAP should be server folks -- Active Directory.  Chances are whoever manages the ASA's should have access to at least look in Active Directory to look that up.  If they don't they need it.
I obviously don't know a lot about what devices you are using, but if you are using ISE, there should be some type of MNT device (Monitoring and Troubleshooting) -- which is collecting the logs and, hopefully, sending them to some type of syslog aggregate collection tool (splunk?).
Otherwise, there should be a device called a CAM (Clean Access Manager) that is collecting logs -- which may also be propagated to a syslog aggregate tool -- although with CAM's, you can pull the reports right out of them in a comma deliminated file (.csv) and go through them that way.
-- The thing that gets me is that it happens to two users no matter what computer they try to connect from, no matter what network they connect from, and other users can authenticate and gain network access on those same devices.
-- That is why it is rather perplexing.  Pretty much saying it has to be something with:
    - the IP pool they are getting an IP from
    - their AD credentials
    - their username
    - something along those lines, if the information provided was fully accurate.

  • Practical and convenient to share one library for two users, or unwise?

One iMac, two user profile logins. I've already gone through this with iTunes and with the help of the techs, have figured out the work around so that two users on one computer can share one set of music files. Without that trick, we'd be duplicating our music storage requirements.
Same problem with iPhoto. Sure, my wife and I have some photos that we would keep separately I suppose, but really.. most of what we shoot would be better shared in one location. I read in the help files that you simply move the iPhoto Library to the Users\Shared folder and then change a setting in iPhoto.
Is this practical and usable this way, or are there "gotchas" that the help file doesn't elaborate on?
Is this reliable and safe for the data? What would you guys recommend. Thanks.
    - Rowan

    HI Rowan,
I think I read in another one of your posts about maybe moving the iPhoto Library folder to an external. If you do, this library can be shared, but the external has to be set to "ignore permissions" if two users are going to be using the same library on the external. More info on this set up can be found in the documentation page of iPhoto Library Manager.
Anyway, there is also a method using ACLs with Tiger that might work for you also.
Here are the links I have for sharing ONE iPhoto Library between users.
SHARING ONE IPHOTO LIBRARY BETWEEN USERS ON SAME MACHINE
You can try one of these three methods:
1- Use iPhoto Library Manager-the paid version
The documentation page will give instructions on how it is done.
2- Sharing one iPhoto library between several users on one machine
3- Share an iPhoto Library in tiger Using ACL's
4- I have also read about ShareAlike
There is no other info on the site about how it works.
I strongly urge anyone wanting to try any of the methods for sharing one iPhoto Library folder among more than one user to backup all iPhoto Library folders before attemptin anything.

  • Problem running iTunes for two users on same computer, one works fine, the other keeps locking up and shutting down iTunes

I have two users on one computer.  I have iTunes set up for both users.  For one user (mine) iTunes works just fine.  For the other user (my wife), Itunes opens up but then locks up and shuts off.  Any suggestions?  Thanks

It provides user-specific troubleshooting tips that should get the problem taken care of.

  • ITunes for two users on one Mac. Will iTunes 7 compute?

    iTunes experts!
I am at it again with iTunes on the same topic I had back in June of 2006 (see thread link below). It would appear that upgrading to iTunes 7 snuffed my neat little set up, though everything still works with iPhoto.
I've had iTunes 7 for a while now, but am just now trying to get the problem fixed. I reset the permissions to my iTunes library which I have in a shared folder (harddisk/users/shared/iTunes/iTunes Library). I toggled back and forth on my two accounts (mine and my girlfriends) to see that it was working again and it was! ... for about a minute, then it cut and read me the same message on her log on:
"The iTunes library file is locked, on a locked disk, or you do not have write permission for this file."

Isn't there a way that two users on a Mac can have access to the same iTunes library on iTunes 7. Please help!
    Gryphen

... okay, this was weird, but I half figured it out, and it half corrected itself... I think.
I went back into the second user account and accessed the iTunes library alias I had put in the account (linked to the main library in the shared folder). It came up just fine. ... now everthing works fine.
Before, I was just openning iTunes from the dock icon.
I don't know if my verbage helped anyone understand anything, but hey, I have the same music, shopping cart, and playlists on both user accounts accessible without a need for syncing. I am happy.
    Adios!

  • Same id for two users

    Hi,
Is it possible to have same ID for two different users?
    ID
    http://forums.sdn.sap.com/profile.jspa?userID=3882846
    is not me.
    Thanks

    Thanks for the reply.
Ofcourse its not a big issue with me.  My only concern is if tomorrow for whatever reasons,  id no 1 is to be penalised for whatever wrongdoings,  the axe should not fall on id no 2 by mistake....
    Thanks again.

  • Is it possible for two users on seperate Macs to edit the same iPhoto Library

    Hi,
I've recently been on an overseas trip with my partner, and now we have 5000 photos to sort through, tag, and add descriptions for.
Is it possible for us to access the same iPhoto library on each of our Macs to make it faster to sort through the photos? If so, how do I go about setting this up? We have a third mac, might it be better to move the iPhoto Library to that, make it act as server of sorts, and our other two macs as clients?

Yes it is possible, but there are a few caveats.
A strong warning: If you're trying to edit the Library (that is, make albums, move photos around, keyword, make books or slideshows etc.) or edit individual photos in it via Wireless be very careful. Dropouts are a common fact of wireless networking, and should one occur while the app is writing to the database then your Library will be damaged. Simply, I would not do this with my Libraries.
Only one of you can access the Library at a time. You can't both be working on the project at the same time.
iPhoto is not a multi-user app., it does not have the code to negotiate two users simultaneously writing to the database, and trying will cause db corruption. So only one user at a time, and back up, back up back up.
Quit iPhoto in both machines. Move the Library to the Users / Shared Folder
(You can also use an external HD set to ignore permissions, a Disk Image or even partition your Hard Disk.)
On each machine in turn: Double click on the Library to open it. (You may be asked to repair the Library Permissions.) From that point on, this will be the default library location. Both machines will have full access to the library, in fact, both machines will 'own' it.
    Regards
    TD
