Tables not showing up in schema browser (3.0 final)

I don't know if this has been posted by anyone else, or if anyone else if having this problem, but if I expand the + under the Tables collection, I don't get any tables. I supposed that it was a filter problem because when I clear the filter, the tables show up. Of course, I don't want to reset filters for all of my connections. But, alas, it didn't end there. When I cleared the filter, disconnected, and then reconnected, either the filter change didn't save or something else was wrong because I couldn't view tables again. :/
Note: I did migrate my settings from the EA3 release before running this.
Thoughts?

I'm having the same problem. I just published a blog with photo pages, but the photos do not load using Firefox 3.0. They show just fine using Safari. I've not tried it yet with Explorer, but friends who have logged in have not complained about not seeing the photos, so I suspect the problem is specific to Firefox.
Anyone have an idea what the problem might be?

I am a novice web designer and I need help!
The above site listed is the site I am currently working on. As you can see the menu bar...is not a menu bar at all but a long list of links along the left side.
HOWEVER, when I click on LIVE VIEW in DreamWeaver everything looks fine.
There should be 7 total menu bars with 7 Dropdown menu options each (except on the bottom menu bar which there will only be 4 I believe)
What am I doing wrong??

My internal drive is NOT showing up in the event library in Final Cut X. I am also getting a "The operation couldn't be completed. Cannot allocate memory" Any ideas? I am using an IMAC Core i7 with 8GB memory, OS version 10.6.8

If I had a application disk, I would unistall and reinstall FCPX. I am assuming there is a way do do this without a disk - just have not been able to easliy find out how.

Well it did NOT work. Here is a screen capture as FCPX loads showing the drive while it loads. Then when it is loaded, NO drive showing up in the Event Library ( I have turned off the external drive).
ANY ideas . . . . Anybody . . . . APPLE?

Tables not showing up

i've oracle 10 g installed in my comp on windows....
till now it was working fine....
but now... when i start database n try to access tables through
home - > object browser - > show tables ..... it's not showing any tables
or
home - > sql -> sql commands -> select * from tab
(in this case ... there is not even run option to run the command )
however i can see tables through Run Sql Command Line ... (the console)
does anyone have any idea...

You can reinstall Oracle if you want to, your datafiles and database structures don't depend on the oracle home. However this would be just a waist of time, as the root problem isn't an EM configuration.
If you are sure your tables are on the target schema, then just double check the conditions you have typed from the EM DB Control to query these tables.

For one of my connections the tables are not shown in the tree view.
When i startup with debug info I see following debug lines:

When I execute this query, 238 rows are returned, but the table names do not show up in the UI.
I only have this problem with our unicode DB, i.e.
NLS_CHARACTERSET is set to AL32UTF8,
NLS_NCHAR_CHARACTERSET is set to AL16UTF16.

Perhaps my first posting is too complex. What I see is that for one of my connections, i don't see the tables, whereas the SQL that is executed in fact returns tables. (so these are not synonyms to tables in other schema's)
The difference between this connection and the other connections I've tried, is the characterset of the database.

DbXplorer IBM iSeries AS400 tables not showing

Hi all,
I was hoping to use the JPA generation on our IBM AS400 tables.
The DbXplorer gets connected to our AS400 over the JT400 Toolbox JDBC type 4.0 driver. All schema's/libraries show.
However when I open a specific library no tables are shown.
How come my tables are not showing?
This is my configuration:
Driver Class: jt400.jar (Official V5R2, not JTOpen, although I have tried that one to.)
JDBC Driver Class: com.ibm.as400.access.AS400JDBCDriver
Database URL: jdbc:as400://SERVERNAME;date format=iso;libraries=*LIBL,FXSARTHUR

Table not showing data after refresh

Hi gurus ,
A unique problem We have added a field in the custom table . once moved to quality system it is not showing up the data whwn when we do a select query on that table in se16 . say total entries are ten thousand four of them are checked and when display not checked i.e eq space we get just 100 entries on number of entries ..i asked to regenerate the table in quality system but it did not help .The Quality system was refresh 1 month ago and we see it not working after it ..please suggest the correct steps we need to perform to recover the data . Adjust database with keep data has already been done ...

If I understand well, your issue is that you have a SELECT in your program, saying newfield is your newfield, something like:
SELECT ... FROM ztable INTO ... WHERE newfield = space.
and it doesn't return the records that existed in quality before newfield was added.
It it because, by default, when you add a field to an existing database table, with records already present, they are assigned the NULL value, which is different from space.
They can be retrieved using WHERE newfield IS NULL.
Usually, to avoid this issue, when we add a new field, we tick the "no null value" checkbox for this new field, in SE11 transaction. That will initialize the field of existing records, to the initial value (space for characters, 0 for numeric fields, etc.) Note: maybe it can be counter performant for big tables...
Solution for your issue, run this code once:
UPDATE ztable SET newfield = space WHERE newfield IS NULL.

Bug: Bookmarks do not show up on the browser when there is no connection

Pre is not showing bookmark icons when there is no internet connection.
I am currently on international roaming with no data connection, but am using the Pre over WiFi. The Pre turns off WiFi when not in use, and then reconnects as soon as i turn it on.
However, it takes a few seconds to reconnect to WiFi, and if I open the browser in the mean time, it just opens a blank window with no bookmarks. It has the address bar, but doesn't really work.
If I open the browser once it has connected to WiFi, everything works fine.

(You can't even edit full bookmarks list, either. I can understand, kinda, not displaying the icons as their only purpose it to launch a data connection to the site, which obviously you're not going to do when not connected to data. But IMO, you should still be able to organize your bookmarks, which doesn't look like you can do)

6/8 Beta Monkey loops do not show up in loop browser

I installed the loops, created new song in 6/8 time, but they will not show up in the loop browser. I can drag the actual file in and that worked, but I would like it to work as it is supposed to

I followed the instructions here to reindex the loops:

However after that, all the loops were not showing (mainly from the Voices Jam Pack). In the Finder, I see ones called "Nathan Improv" 01-14. However in the Garageband loop browser, I only see 01, 02, 04, 05, 10, 11, and 12. Out of the 1500 loops, it's only showing 429 under all effects.

Additionally, by default, the loop browser only displays loops within two semitones of the key of your project. I turned off Keyword Browsing and was able to see all the loops in Voices that I wasn't able to see before.

Adobe Illustrator CS5 does not show PDF thumbnails when browsing

When I am browsing through PDF files to open one of them in Adobe Illustrator CS5 it does not show the thumbnail. When I am browsing in Adobe Acrobat it does show the thumbnails. If I have Adobe Acrobat open and am browsing through files and the thumbnails are showing then if I open Adobe Illustrator and browse for a file the thumbnail does show up.
How can I get Illustrator to always show the PDF thumbnails. I have to frequently browse through thousands of PDF files and it is imperative that I can see the thumbnail for these PDF files. I primarily use Illustrator to edit PDF files.
The computer is Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit edition. Thumbnails barely work when browsing files through Explorer. Some thumbnails will show, but not very many of them and it is extremely slow to load the thumbnails that will display.

To use the 32-bit version of Windows Explorer, follow these steps:
Click Start, click Run, type the following in the Open box, and then click OK:
Drive_Letter:\windows\syswow64\explorer.exe /separate
Note The placeholder Drive_Letter represents the drive where the x64-based version of Windows is installed.

New Aperture photos not showing up in iLife browser

I recently upgraded from Aperture 2 to version 3. When I open the Media Browser in any of the iLife apps, I can see all the photos/projects which existed in Aperture prior to the upgrade, but any pictures I've added since do not show up.
I've tried all manner of repairing permissions, turning off face recognition, creating blank libraries, turning preview sharing off and on, but nothing seems to help.
Does anyone have a possible solution?

I had this problem, and what I actually did was a rebuild on the Aperture database which fixed the problem. I got it from Scott Bourne's link below. After rebuilding the Aperture database, I restarted iTunes and the Aperture libraries showed up with the correct count.

It’s been a while since I’ve talked about this but I recently received a question for the podcast that might be answered here on Photofocus.com.
If you use Aperture (II or III) and you have a large library or make lots and lots of changes to even a small library, the Aperture library can bog down or even become unstable.
This has something to do with the database and can lead to symptoms like pictures not showing up or slow scrolling to occasional thumbnail rendering and overall slower performance. I personally also believe it’s tied to a memory leak in the program. In any event, when this happens, rebuilding the Library is often the fix.
Before you rebuild your Library, back up everything to your Vault. Then, quit Aperture. Press and hold Option + Command and launch Aperture by double clicking on the application icon. Follow the prompts to start the rebuild.
It will take some time for the rebuild to be complete. I have my images stored in multiple Libraries of 10,000 image. Rebuild time is about 45 minutes on average.
At the end of the process, you should see snappier performance. This can also be a fix if things are just going haywire without reason.
When you are confident that you haven’t lost any images, back up this newly-rebuilt Library to your Vault and you’re finished.
I recommend that you do this every three months or so and more often if you are a heavy Aperture user or have very large Libraries.

Audio is not showing up in the browser nor the timeline???

i have a question. i recorded a video and viewed it and the video and audio is working. when i imported it and it showed up on the browser the audio outputs were not showing up. also when i tried to dragged it to the timeline the audio tracks didnt show up either. what could this be?? i have a sony dvcam hdv deck in which someone used it and im thinking maybe they changed some settings on the deck?? help please!!??

The VU meter is the audio meter (see FCE 4 user manual from page 56). If a clip include any audio, this meter should move when clip is played from browser to viewer.
The camera audio should be 16 bit 48 kHz. You can use 32 kHz if you select the correct preset in Easy setup dialog box.
Did you see the link provided earlier for patch panel bay use?
The patch panel switch is the way to tell to FCE where (understand on exact layer) adding video and audio in timeline. If the audio switches are disconnected, the edit will insert only video. There is a contextual menu to reset the patch panel switch.

IPhoto not showing up in media browser

My iPhoto files are not showing up in my media browser in iWeb. Any suggestions?

Alright, I solved this problem at least for myself. Hopefully this works for all of you guys.
(Note: Quite all iLife and iWork applications before doing this)
Step 1. Download and install Pacifist http://www.charlessoft.com/
Step 2. Insert Snow Leopard Disc
Step 3. Run Pacifist
Step 4. Click "Open Apple Install Discs"
Step 5. Select Install Disc in Pop Up Dialog and select "Choose" (it can take a couple of minutes for the disc to load)
Step 6. In the search field at the top of the window type "mediabrowser" (no space) and the second result should be a folder. When you select it it should show that the file path is Library>Application Support>iLifeMediaBrowser
Step 7. Select the iLifeMediaBrowser folder and click the "install" button in the top left of the window
Step 8. Click "Install" in the pop up dialog then input your password in the next window and hit ok
Step 9. Enjoy your media browser being up and running again
If there is a dialog that says something about possible file damage or something to that effect, just hit continue. You'll be a o.k. and up in running again.

Aperture library not showing up in upload browser

When I go to upload Aperture photos to the web, my Aperture library is not listed in the media browser. Only iPhoto and Photo Booth is there. I've had to go into Aperture and export the photos to upload them. This started to happen after I upgraded to Lion. Any suggestions?

Aperture did not show up in any other apps, but I found an discussion started by someone with the same issue, and the issue was resolved by creating a new library, then swicthing back to your original library. New Photos Library Not Showing up in Media Browser

Hi, all--
I have the new Photos Library app, but I cannot select photos from it in other apps (like Twitter) because it doesn't show up the Media Browser that appears in the sidebar. The Photos Library is stored in my Pictures folder, and although I can click on the Pictures folder, the package contents of Photos Library isn't accessible there. Is anyone else experiecing this? I see other posts about this problem for iWeb, but I'm seeing it with EVERY 3rd party app/website. I can't select those photos. Help, please!

It's not a bug. It's not an iWeb issue.
It's progress.
Everytime something new arrives, the old is left behind.
But there is a solution.
iPhoto and the old library are still on your computer.
Open iPhoto and select the old library.
After that the images are available again.
