from which tables (if i get tables name it would be more useful) / transaction can i get the closing stock of everyday?

Z table for Closing Stock

Hi ,
My requirement is to make Z table for closing stock.
As ours is a pharma firm and we have implemented SAP in Aug 2008.
Now for closing stk we are using S033 and MSEG table to get opening stk
SELECT SUM( mzubb ) SUM( magbb ) INTO (w_dr_menge , w_cr_menge)
        FROM s033
       WHERE sptag < so_fkdat-low
         AND werks = werks
         AND matnr = matnr.
w_opening_balance = w_dr_menge - w_cr_menge.
and for closing stk = opening stk - sale + receive.
Now the problem is when we want to retrieve data for closing stk for last month ,it is checking all the records since Aug 2008 for opening stk and it is taking too much time to retrieve data.
Can anyone plz suggest any alternative for thsi problem.

done this before. for sure you will experience an performance problem in your current setup. what we did is we create a program that calculates the ending inventory of the month then beginning inventory of the following month we are executing this in every end of the month. In that case when we need to access the previous month the ztable must be use. make sure that your program can do rerun of the ending and beginning of stock because there are chances of previous posting of reversals.

Can some body tell me the table name & the field name for opening stock value,
(This is when you pass the date through LSMW at initial stage and it gets sits in which table)

There are many stock tables in SAP.
if you load unrestricted use stock with value, then the quantity is going to MARD, quantity and value to MBEW.
if material is batch managed, then stock per batch is going to MCHB, but still MARD and MBEW are updated.
if you load non-valuated stock (material type UNBW), then only MARD is updated, no MBEW entry.
and much more cases for consignment, sales order stock etc etc.
If you try to find the values more than a month after the upload, and your materials had movements, then the old stock quantity at period closing is transfered to the history tables MARDH, MBEWH.
If you load in the beginning of a month, then SAP calculates the opening stock by using the end of period stock and add/subs the material movements.Then you will not find the opening stock as a single number in any table.

<b>STO(Stock Transfer Order)</b> is nothing but one type of Purchase order that will be created using <b>ME21N</b> tcode like other types of PO's.
Go to EKKO and EKPO tables
enter EKKO-BSART = 'EUB' or 'UB'
take the old data of one of the order from EKKO and EKPO and create the STO with that data. like plant, shipping point etc.

Try and use FM 'BAPI_MATERIAL_AVAILABILITY'. I have used this FM in the past for Stock on Hand reports. Only drawback is that it only runs for one material / plant at a time!

You can assign fields to field groups in the IMG, under Financial Accounting -> Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable -> Vendor Accounts -> Master Records -> Preparations for Changing Vendor Master Records -> Group Fields for Vendor Master Records.
After the configuration you should be able to display the changes.

Please let me know the Table name where we can see the previous Payment Terms and revised payment terms of documents in a specific company code.
For example: if a document had payment terms 45 and they were modified to 00 or 15.
Or is there any transaction code to track Payment Terms changes accounting documents? Where I can select company code and build a report based on this field alone, during a specific timeframe (Q1 2014 or Q2 2014.

Closing stock by referring J_1IRG23D table

Dear All,
I have 3 different production plant (P-1, P-2, P-3)
These 3 plants produce same material and send to Depot plant.
So once production plant send material to depot plant then RG1 register get upate at prodution plant and once depot plant receive that material then RG23D register update. Then depot sales those material with reference with production plant invoice.
So my requirement is i need to check in each period wise what is the closing stock at each depot plant and then i need to trace for each material that from which production plant it is received for that period.
So how i can built a logic by referring J_1IRG23D table?

I have a finished material say 'X' and material X i use 10KG of Copper in my BOM.(copper contain for different MFG plant is different)
But X is manufactured by plant A,B and C.
So i need to develop a report for closing stock of each depot plant. If i found X is available in my depot plant 'P-1'is 10KM then i have to check from which MFG plant it has come then again i have to go to that MFG plant and drill down the BOM and will calculate copper contained.

MD04 table name for stock statistics

hi, all
i'm wondering how can i find out the table name for MD04- stock statistics - Fixed receipts, the structure's name MDSTA-SUM02.
I tried use ST05 to trace the update table name, i created a Production order, this "fixed receipts" field is updated. but i counldn't find out the right updated table for this particular field.
does anyone know how to find it or if anyone knows the right table name for it! thanks

Depending what you're trying to do, you can do a test run on MD_STOCK_REQUIREMENTS_LIST_API. The only information you need to enter is the plant and material. You'll want the results in E_MDSTA. That will only be reasonable if you're trying to find the value for a single plant and material, though (or a handful). If you need this information for all materials at all plants and need it frequently, which would seem more likely, your ABAPers can use this function in their report. Again, the only info they'll need to pass to it are the plant and material. Hope that works out for you.

MB5B-Retrive Closing Stock into our General Report

for this u will have to create a Z report. Just copy the code of MB5B and add additional columns for closing stock, u will find the data in mbewh and mbew tables.

Closing Stock Of material

Dear all
Using MC.9 transaction we will get the closing stock of a material in any date directly.I want to know that from which table we will closing stock of a material in a particular date.From MBEW we will get current stock only but ieed the closing stock of a particular date..Help me if u have any idea..

closing stock showing in MB5B report for that date with the same filter conditions.
In closing stock u have to consider Stock.Avail. @ my hands
search for table MARD in that MB5B
